When I'm using i Player and have search for a radio or tv programme I want to watch or listen to when I touch the click to play nothing happens
I have always been able to listen to radio or tv stations using i player but now when i press "click to play" nothing happens has anyone else had this problem
If you are using iOS 4.2.1 or earlier it is an problem with iPlayer/the server. They are aware of the problem

When my Nano is connected to my computer, it shows that I have music downloaded to it, but when i touch the screen to play the music, it is not showing up and is not available to play. I've tried reloading it with no success
iPod touches or any iDevices from Apple sync only to one computer. If you sync to a different computer, all your music will be replace with the music from the new computer's iTunes. If the music were purchased from iTunes, you can re-download them again otherwise the music on iPod touch will be deleted. Do you have iTunes backup?

I updated my ipad to iOS 6 yesterday and it worked immediately after updating my ipad worked as it should. I left and came back in about 4 hours and have a black screen. When I press the on off button nothing happens. Help.
Assuming that the battery isn't empty (and it can take up to 15 minutes of charging before it will respond), then have you tried a reset ? Press and hold both the sleep/on/off and home buttons for about 10 to 15 seconds, after which the Apple logo should appear - you won't lose any content, it's the iPad equivalent of a reboot.

I am looking to upgrade my macbook pro 13". I have a new logic board and have searched for the spec on this i.e. hdd size and ram. will my 2009 screen work with an updated graphics card ??
Sounds just like what was happening with my Alum MB. I took it in and they replaced my battery. It seems to be ok now. I don't know what it is, but my battery was fine before 10.5.6 and the same timeframe of the firmware updates when they came out.
My battery health was jumping around but was fine before all of this happened. Unfortunately at 381 cycles I don't think you have much chance of getting the battery for free. Perhaps you can complain about the battery saying it was fine until 10.5.6 or whatever. My ipad will not swith on. It was working fine an hour earlier but when I press the power on button nothing happens. I have had it on charge just to be safe but no joy. This is a basic first version ipad. What options do I have?
Try a reset. Press and hold both the home and power buttons 10-15 seconds till the Apple logo appears. Release both buttons. Wait 15-20 seconds till your iPad starts on it's own.

I don't have money for new tech or headphones. I want to watch a movie from my laptop via AirPlay (watch a movie straight from Apple TV), but hear the sound on my headphones attached to my MB Air.

Which photos are you trying to delete?
You should be able to delete photos in your Camera Roll that have been taken by your device or copied to it from emails, websites, etc.
Photos that were transferred to your device during a sync process are deleted by doing another sync but before syncing deselect those albums you no longer want. -

Are you typing your message in the title line then tapping send? You don't need a title but you must have your message in the second line. Seems simple but it confused the heck out of me!

I do not know the answer but with itunes store which is essentially a website most errors seem to be on the Apple side. Report it to itunes store support

I have Pandora and Slacker Radio installed on my ipod touch. When I touch the icon to open these, it opens for a second and then closes. Does anyone know how to fix this?

I have uninstalled iTunes and everything related but still cannot download iTunes. When I click in "download iTunes" nothing happens at all. I have plenty of disk space and don't know what else it could be. My laptop is only 2 years old and is fully updated

How to reset your SMC >>
Run fsck.
1. Reboot/Startup holding your Command-S key down.
2. At the command line type the following and hit 'Return.'
/sbin/fsck -fy
3. After it has check/repaired your disk, type 'reboot' and hit 'Return' again. Unit should bootup normally.

When I touch Video in iPad2 camera nothing happens
Trying to record videos using iPad2 camera. It defaults to Photo. When I touch Video, nothing changes and it remains on Photo.
Said in another way, put your finger on the screen and pull the photo down till video lights up. Press the red button to record.

What you've outlined in this part of the post is all that icloud stores for you outside of the backup. If you want to restore from the icloud backup you will then have for all practical purposes a carbon restoration back to your device if you restore from the icloud backup.

Syncing your device with itunes will then enable you to remove whatever photos you wish to remove from your device deleting them with the computer and not the iphone. -
How do I downgrade to the free 5gigs of iCloud storeage? I would like a refund and have searched for two hours. Apple have made this as difficult as possible. If you use Express Lane you cannot proceed without entering a hardware serial number which is still eligible for AppleCare. However julia22 managed to find a way round it - please see this post:
