When I move an email to a subfolder, I can no longer see it. I can see the email on my web email page.

Seems to happen quite frequently, and does not get fixed with Thunderbird updates. I have had to delete some emails in the past to get around this problem, and recreate the folder, but this is not an acceptable solution. The mail is a yahoo account accessed by imap.
Get lots of errors in the Error console, below. Any fix available without having to delete/recreate subfolders etc.

Lets start again hey. That error console might have a useful bit of information in it, but most of what shows up there is just junk.
Lets go to the crux of the issue. What do you mean you have to delete and recreate the folder?
Have you tried right clicking the folder, selecting properties and then the repair button?
Have you tried creating an exemption for the Thunderbird profile folder in your anti virus program?
Have you tried disabling email scanning in your anti virus program?

Not only can i not see the individual chaptes -- apparently like you and everyone else suffering through the "improved" iOS7 -- when my audiobook repeats a "file" within chapter, which it sometimes does, I cannot get "inside" the chapter and move forward to where I'm supposed to be.

In the newest firefox - when on youtube watching videos, I no longer see the streaming bar (lighter red) indicating the video has been downloaded. Any ideas why?

I have just upgraded to the latest firefox.
I have a problem streaming videos on youtube. Typically, when you stream a video on youtube, you can see on the "timebar", that the video is being downloaded shown in a lighter red, with the solid red the indicating which of the video you're already at.
However, in the latest version firefox, I longer see the streaming (lighter red) on the timebar, so I have no idea how much it has downloaded/streamed. I have updated my flash etc...but doesn't solve the problem. Can anybody help? Thanks!

There has been a change in where Firefox searches for plugins and the plugins folder in the Firefox program folder is no longer scanned for plugins, so Firefox won't find them anymore if they are installed in the plugins folder instead of the "browser\plugins" folder that Firefox now scans.
You can set the plugins.load_appdir_plugins pref to true on the about:config page to make Firefox scan the "<install>/plugins/" directory for plugins like the WMP plugin (np-mswmp.dll).

First of all, there is no need to put the entire text of your post into the title of your thread.
Next, does your daughter have an iPhone? Do her friends have iPhones? If the answer to both questions is "yes", then it is possible she is not texting them, but using iMessage to communicate with them. iMessages will not show up in the texting traffic on a line as they are not texts, but messages sent thru Apple's servers.
For all "texts" to show up in the texting activity of an iPhone, you must disable iMessage on the device. Any messages sent as iMessages(blue bubbles around the text) on an iPhone will not show up in any texting activity.

No, I get my mail on my computer, not on a website. I used to be able to see the information but in sorting another issue I must have changed a setting or something. I have gone to View. Under Message Attributes most things are ticked but many of them are not bold print i.e. they are pale grey. I don't know how to activate them again.

Connect your phone to computer, and sync like this. Check the boxes for the playlists, artists, albums you want to sync. Then click Apply. If you have enough space on your phone, you can choose Entire music library.

You are sending SMS messages. iMessages are blue. Go to Settings>>Messages>>iMessage ON.

I stopped at the local Apple Store. Three salespeople heard my question and they agreed that the email count is not accesssible in iOS 7. Furthermore, it is not possible to control the number of messages held on the Apple device. It was possible in iOS 6, as one of the salespeople demonstrated. Since that is the case, what is the number of emails stored in iOS 7? If it varies, what determines the number that are stored? I do not want to set up an email account with 7000 to 8000 existing emails and wonder what will happen.

Called Apple support and received a new Iphone4 next day.
Updated and programmed.

When making payments etc on https sites I used to get a padlock symbol on the address line or bottom right hand corner tool bar. This was a symbol I had been told to check for to ensure the page is secure. I no longer see the padlock symbol on https sites since I upgraded to Firefox 4? On the tool bar at the top all I get is the golden star for book marking a page and nothing on the bottom tool bar.Why? And is the page still secure?

Unfortunately, the drive is pretty much restricted without hacking it. That is, you can't stream its content via standardized protocols like UPnP, SMB, FTP and the like. This makes you won't be able to access its content from any third-party apps otherwise capable of playing back AVI files from UPnP / SMB / FTP / WebDAV etc. sources.
While this is certainly not a recommendation (I can in no way be held responsible if anything goes wrong): you may want to consider extending the capabilities of the drive by installing the hack: http://www.hackseagatesatellite.com/wordpress/welcome/
It'll "open" the drive for third-party, AVI-capable multimedia apps like GoodPlayer, It's Playing etc. to directly play the files over the network.

Why is it blank when i type and only when my move over what i have typed I can see the words in a violet bloc?

I cannot see the text I type on my newly installed pages 0.8. When I move with the cursor over the text I get a bloc in violet showing the text I just typed. But I only have a blank screen as I type, regards danny
