When I open bookmarks the actual sites sometime do not show just the black screen with the safari icon while others show the actual site how can I see the actual content
I use Safari Mt Lion and when I view Bookmarks, the entire list of bookmarks show uo but on the display portion only the black screen witht the Safari icon shows while other bookmarks show the actual photo of what that bookmark is so unless I click on the bookmark on the blank ones I can not see what it is, it is inconvient because I have hundreds of bookmarks and I can not remember what I was bookmarking it for unless I can see it

I understand - sorry to have missed your point before now.
Some sites don't display those previews in safari - secure pages (https) for one, and also sites that are redirected.
Taking the example in your screenshot, the site http://fabulouslyartsy.blogspot.com/ actually redirects to http://www.fabulouslyartsy.com/ and Safari (rather annoyingly) doesn't 'follow' the redirection & show the appropriate preview. See the image below - the blank preview is for the blogspot address, and the one visible to the right is from going directly to the site.

IF RESET DOESN'T WORK, FORCE IPAD INTO RECOVERY MODE

4. Hold Home button down and plug the other end of cable into docking port. Do not release button until you see picture of iTunes and plug (very important)
5. Release Home button.
ON COMPUTER
6. iTunes has detected iPad in recovery mode. You must restore this iPad before it can be used with iTunes.
7. Select "Restore iPad"...

When you tap and hold on image in safari, there will be context menu. Usually there two options at least:
* Save image
* Copy
If you'll tap Copy - it will be copied to buffer and you can paste it at your new email (for ex.)
If you'll tap Save image - it will be saved in Photos app on your iPad (in my case it saves at Camera roll album) -

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

When I turn on Messages, I can't see my messages. All I can see is a screen with horizontal lines. How can I get the regular Messages screen back?
The same is happening for me. Today I decided to reboot my PC because it was acting up a bit, go figure, and then for some reason at the same time the PC was restarting my macbook froze. I had to do a reboot with the restart button but then all that came up was a gray background and in the middle of the screen was a darker gray folder with a white question mark in the middle of it, blinking. I can't imagine why the restart would've affected my macbook. After finding information on how to fix this, I tried all of the steps that were given about using the mac OS X disk to use the first aid utility to fix it. When using the Disk Utility option whenever I select my hardrive and am in the First Aid tab, the only button I can use is the Verify Disk Permissions. The other three buttons, and namely the most important Repair Disk button, is/are not selectable (grayed out). I then tried resetting the PRAM the way they also said with the command + option + P + R and waited for the second startup sound. After that I gave the Disk Utility a second try, but still nothing. And now if I try to just reinstall the OS completely I can't even select a destination volume on the third step (Select Destination). Apparently this means i'm SOL.

Safe Boot disables several things, and you can look at the list and see if you can find the culprit. As Linc says, if you still have a problem, post a new topic so that it will get the attention it deserves. -
On my MacBook Pro I finished using a CD and it ejected. Then I have a black screen just a DVD player showing on the bottom of a black screen. I have the Iphone 5, it is just over 12 months old, and it was low on charge, by the time I could get to a charger it had cut out. So i plugged it in the charger like no other time, went back after 10mins and noticed the screen was still black. So i tried to turn it on but nothing still black screen, i changed the charger for my other apple charger and the same thing happened. i decided to plug it in using the usb in the computer and still the same thing has happened. Took it to the apple genuis team to be told they can`t do anything, and now its out of its 12 months warranty makes it even more difficult. Has anyone else had this issue, this is my 4th iphone since they released them and am very dissappointed to say the least that the iphone 5 for me seems to have a life span on just over 12 months and no one is prepared to take any responsiblity as i have not damaged it. One extremely dissappointed Iphone user. Any ideas on how to get it working again?

I can't recall the passcode to my older iPod, iPod touch 2g 8GB, (someone stole my 4g) and it's not showing up in iTunes, is there any other way to do a 'restore' to clear the old passcode and be able to access the iPod? Anyone???
The only way is to restore the iPOd via iTunes. Have you tried:
