When I open my yahoo email program on the ATT website it shows me the emails but will not let me open them to read. I have cleared history and cache. Help

Until about three days ago my email program through yahoo/ATT was working fine. I can open the program, I can see the emails, but it will not let me open the emails to read them.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
*Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

    My laptop recently tried to update software, failed and told me to uninstall and re-install which I have done and tried to do but again, the install has failed several times..
    Please can someone help as I now don't know whether I have lost all my music and films... I will be gutted if this is so..

    I think I'm reading two questions, but I'm not sure. 
    Did you want to know how many devices you can have authorized with an Apple ID?

    Are you using Windows Vista on a Dell, HP, or another Windows (Microsoft) based laptop?  Or are you using a Mac?

    If you want to load a second copy of ''some other page'' that is open, as you noticed, instead of showing the URL, the awesomebar drop-down shows "Switch to Tab." Not everyone likes this feature, so someone created an add-on to turn it off.

    I think Firefox engineers need to improve Firefox between now and the next up-date to make it adequate to handle all major websites. There aren't many websites used by as many people as yahoo. So why have Firefox engineers ignored this deficiency in Firefox?

    It sounds like you might need to contact Yahoo! if you aren't able to setup your email account as a new account after deleting it.

  • I have one website that will not let me open the emails within in it?

    I am on a dating website Christianmingle.com Up until 3 days ago this site worked fine? All other sites within my internet are working and opening fine. Just this site will not let me open the internet information and emails within this site?
    After a couple of attempts I can get into the site. This is one problem that I cannot open this site like it is suppose to. Then when try to open information within the site it fills the work bar to about 90% then it just keeps working and nothing opens?
    I have tried the cookies, pop-up blocker, called the site for help and called Xfinity? They can do nothing? Maybe you can help me it has to be something simple?

    - For the other problem you can try a reset. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iPod touch:  Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - The next standard thing to do is to download/install a new app but you cant 'do that.
    - Instead, try restoring from backup.

    Click on your preference and check the Parental tab for possible restrictions.  Open iTunes, then click the iTunes menu, select preferences after the window opens click on the Parental icon, take a look at the content restrictions section.

    iTunes in Mac OS X Tiger is outdated. Open  > Software Update to install the latest iTunes version for Tiger.
    If you need iTunes 10.7 or a newer version, you have to upgrade to Mac OS X Snow Leopard. First, check that your Mac is supported > http://support.apple.com/kb/sp575 If it is, buy Snow Leopard > http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573Z/A/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    After buying Snow Leopard, make a backup of your data, insert the DVD and upgrade to Snow Leopard. After upgrading, open  > Software Update, and install the latest Snow Leopard version. Finally, run Software Update again to install iTunes 11.0.4. If you want to install iTunes 10.7 instead, download it from the Apple website > http://support.apple.com/kb/dl1576

    Occasionally an image from a previous website appears briefly when opening safari. I'm afraid it might do it with a site that has private information and other individuals use this ipad.     Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode

    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - Try another cable
    - Try on another computer                            
    - If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

    For starters, you could boot from the OS X install DVD that came with your iMac (insert the disk, reboot and hold down the "C" key after the bong). On that disk is Disk Utility; run that, choose the iMac's hard disk, and run Repair Disk. If errors are found and repaired, try running it again until it's deemed OK.
    If that doesn't help, try to get the OS 10.6.8 combo updater from Apple and run that. It will replace a lot of the Apple software that's already on your iMac and may refresh things so that they'll work.

    I imagine this is a bit late for you, but to anyone else running into this problem, try the trick mentioned by VFSchreiber in this thread:

    This worked for me when I ran into the same issue (can scroll through rented movie but can't play it).  Just switch iTunes to the MiniPlayer (in the Window menu) and then back to the normal player.  Apparently, you may need to do this a few times. It sounds odd (and I didn't really expect it to work), but it fixed the problem for me.

    If you can only get to the Recovery sceen, try using Disk Utility to verify and, if needed, repair your hard drive/flash storage. If the disk can't be repaired then you'll need to see an Apple tech as soon as possible.

    Perhaps the PDF files are corrupted.
    Hit the command key and spacebar, a blue Spotlight in the upper right hand corner appears, now type Preview and press return on the Preview program.
    Now you can try opening the PDF's from the file menu and see what's going on.
    If they are corrupted, perhaps they are trojans from your Windows PC or gotten from a bad location online.
    Download the free ClamXav and run a scan on the possibly infected folder.
