When I play games I can't hear sound on the speaker but the music works on speaker

On my iPad when i play games I can't hear the sound on the speaker but the music in videos play with the sound on speaker the only time I hear the sound on the pad while playing games on the pad is headphones why is that?

Have you got notifications muted ? Only notifications (including games) get muted, so the iPod and Videos apps, and headphones, still get sound. Depending on what you've got Settings > General > Use Side Switch To set to (mute or rotation lock), then you can mute notifications by the switch on the right hand side of the iPad, or via the taskbar : double-click the home button; slide from the left; and it's the icon; press home again to exit the taskbar. When I use my iPhone to call I can't hear anything from my iPhone but the person that I call can answer it but when answer both of us can't hear anything and when I put my iPhone to my face the screen is still on and when I quit the phone application and open it again it will automatic call my recent call. And when my friends call me my iPhone didn't show anything even the missed call I'm only know that I missed the call from messages from carrier. Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

I can only hear sound from one side of the head phone

I've plug in my bass guitar through a cord and a converter in the line in port on my PC. Then checked 'listen to this device' (head phone) which is connected properly as it worked perfectly when I play any sound in ma PC. But when I play my guitar, I can

Help I Can only hear sound from my juke b

can anyone help me i think i screwed up my computers sound and i dont know how. I can only hear sound from musicmatch jukebox when i play a song. i cannot hear sounds from any of my games or othe applications. please help me!

Verify that the volume is set to a level you would normally be able to hear.
Ensure that there is nothing plugged in to the headset jack or the dock connector.
If the iPhone is in a protective case, make sure that the speaker port isn't blocked by the case.
Make sure that the speaker and dock port aren't clogged with debris. If necessary, clean it with a clean, small, dry, soft-bristled brush. Carefully and gently brush away any debris.

HELLO! I have an Ipod Touch thats 32 gb, and its the really old one without the camera. ( im sorry i dont know which generation it is, but i bought it in 2010. ) Anyways, I've had this Ipod for almost 3 years now, and it still works pretty good. The thing im really worried about is that recently, my Ipod has started to overheat, meaning when i touch it, its almost burning. This happens when I charge it, or when I play games on it while charging the Ipod. When i remove the charger, it stops burning/overheating and goes back to normal. Why does this keep happening? Also, what can I do to stop it? please help!!!

J.K. ROFLing is correct. It is normal for the iPod to get quire warm when charging and during heavy use.. If concerned make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.

I've been told this happened to somebody else last week, but didn't get a resaon why.

Can't hear sounds in videos and games? Hello. I have some problem with my SB Li've!. I'm using a Sound Blaster Li've! 5. Digital (it writes Model: SB0220 on it) sound card, attached on a Gigabyte Intel 945 S-Series motherboard. And I've installed the driver and software from the cd that i got out of the SB Li've!'s original box (Creative SB Li've! series, Release 5.2.3.296), and also installed my motherboard's onboard sound card driver (Realtek High Definition Audio Driver, Release: 5.0.0.5567). I'm running Microsoft Windows XP Professional SP3, using 4. Creative speakers.
I'm okay when listening mp3's or Windows system sounds, but when it comes to play a game or watch a video;
I cannot properly (or sometimes completely) hear sounds, if my EAX Equalizer is set up to something else from "No Effects",
I can hear every sound properly if my EQ is set up "No Effects".
Can anybody tell why this happens? I can give more information about my hardware and software if needed. Thanks so much for your time =)

My imac g5 goes to sleep while in use. typically when im playing games

For the last several months, my mac has been going to sleep during use. Typically when im playing games, like second life, or in any type of programs, but it has also been going to sleep while im watching videos on youtube or hulu. It's getting worse and worse, and once it goes to sleep the first time, it doesnt stay on long afterwards. When browsing the internet, its fine. I've recently backed up 40,000 images that I had on my computer, and deleted for more memory space. but it didnt stop it from going into sleep mode, it just doesnt go as quickly as it was before. I was told that it was a memory problem, but since i deleted all of the images off of my computer, the problem still persists. I even turned sleep mode to "never". Here are some of my computer stats:
Memory: 512 MB
Processor: 2.1 GHz PowerPC G5
Space Free: 104.18 GB
Space utilized: 128.58 GB
My monitor stays warm, never gets hot, but sometimes i can hear the fan blowing loudly when it goes into sleep mode

The temps are a bit higher than I'd expect under normal circumstances, and too high while playing games, but what is the room temp where it is?
I def. think its a temp thing now. but why does it only raise when im playing games or watching videos online?
Games tipically press the CPU, Video Card, RAM, and everything else much harder than most apps.
It may be a Fan not working properly, or just dust buildup.
Boot off your Install Disk while holding down the *d key*, (not c key), then run the extended Apple Hardware Test. Some disks require you to use the Option key at bootup to select AHT. Some models have a separate AHT CD.
Report any errors it finds.

When I play music there is a sound. But when I play all my game apps, there is no sound. I have check the volumes and make sure the volume is up but can't seem to make it work.
