When I receive and answer e-mail, the correspondence is usually "nested" "behind" the original message, and the number of replies, etc. are indicated with a number next to the original message in the inbox. How can I change the mail settings so that every reply is listed individually in the inbox instead of having them "stacked" behind the original message. I'm afraid I might accidentially overlook messages the way they are handled now.

Somebody here will correct me if I'm wrong, but what you have to do is go into Settings, Mail/Contacts/Calendars and under Mail, turn off "Organize by Thread". I think that will make each message show individually.

You can't change the display in the Mail app, if you are holding the iPad in landscape orientation then the left-hand third will be for navigation, and the right-hand two-thirds will be an email. If you hold the iPad in portrait orientation then the navigation section becomes a drop-down section.

However, while trying to order a book through iBooks today, I noticed that I was asked for my password and that my old e-mail was showing. Hi, fromsouth, and thank you for your reply. When I go to store, there is no place that says "sign out" so I can't do this. My old email is showing, and when I click on it I am asked for my password. I tried my old password that I used with that email, but was told it was incorrect. This is so frustrating! I can't do any ordering on my iPad until this problem is solved. Thanks again.

No, they will all follow the default setting. If you want them all to fetch, for example every 15 minutes, then set it to 15 minutes in Fetch. I only mentioned the other if you wanted to leave one for manual. I have an account on my phone that is a POP account that I get mail at home from. I let my home computer get this mail, but when I am out of town, I pick it up with the iPhone. That one is set to manual.

This also requires that you and the other parties have MMS messaging enabled in your cell plan. Also, some carriers have restrictions as to the size of the file (picture) that can be sent/received.

How can I change the fonts in "contacts" when printing mail labels ? I used to be able to do this but in Mavericks this ability seems to have gone away. Am I missing something ?

Actually in my case it doesn't work. I used to be able to pull up the font window with it but the button merely flickers when I click it. The image selection button and font color both are functional. WEIRD. I don't think this is a Mavericks issue as I recall having it come up with one of my user profiles before installing. Now I can't make it happen with either of my user profiles.
I don't seem to have printing issues in other applications. And I recently reset the fonts in a futile attempt to correct this.
I may post a new topic in Mail Contacts and Calendar if there is no response here after a bit.
