When i set iphoto to 'fit slideshow to music' the song cuts off before the end and starts again. Anyone know why?
I have tried changing the seconds each slide displays for and fiting the slides to the music and no matter what I do the song cuts off 30-40 seconds before it actually ends and starts again. I haven't had this problem before.

If the same songs seem to cut out on multiple devices, first try re-importing or converting them using iTunes. You can also download iTunes Store purchases again. See these articles for more information:

If the original CD is available, remove the affected content from the iPhone or iPod touch and then import it again from the CD using iTunes.

I'm not affiliated w/ the developer, just a happy user that gave up fighting the apple podcast app a while ago. I used to have a bunch of smart playlists in itunes for my podcasts, and come home every day and pathologically synced my phone as soon as I walked in the door, and again before I walked out the door in the morning.
Since my wife was doing this too, we were fighting over who's turn it was to sync their phone.
Since I've switched to Downcast, I no longer worry about syncing my phone to itunes at all. I can go weeks between syncs.
Setup a "playlist" in downcast (ex., "Commute") and add podcasts to that playlist. Add another playlist ("walk" or "workout") and add different podcasts to that one.
Set podcast priorities on a per-feed basis (ex., high priority for some daily news feeds, medium priority for some favorite podcasts, lower priority for other stuff). Downcast will play the things in the priority you specify, and within that priority, it will play in date order (oldest to newest).
Allegedly, it will also sync your play status to other devices, although that is not a feature I currently use and can't vouch for. It uses apple's iCloud APIs, so to some extent may be limited by what Apple's APIs can do. -
Just noticed that when I close my mail app by double clicking the home button and swiping up it dies something weird. After doing this when I open my mail, instead of showing all my mailboxes it automatically opens one of them instead. Anyone know why?

I have the IPhone 3g and when I slide my finger across it to unlock it or even turn it off it does not do anything does anyone know why.
Try resetting it: hold the on/off and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo (ignore the off slider that appears first), then release and wait for it to restart.

What Mike says but remember that the eraser is a very crude tool.
As a beginner you should begin by learning how the vector paths behave. Learn how to add and subtract anchor points and work with the bézier handles. -
I blocked a lot of different numbers awhile ago but when I checked the blocked numbers today it looked like the same numbers were blocked multiple times. So for example if I blocked phone numbers 555-555-5555, 555-555-5556, and 555-555-5557 on different days it looks like only 555-555-5555 has been blocked 3 different times and I no longer see phone numbers 555-555-5556 or 555-555-5557. Does anyone know why?
Oh dear, one of those phantom disconnections. You know they are actually so common BT have a specialist department that deals with them. I think they are called Priority Back in Service, there is no actual phone number you can ring them on, you have to call 150 as normal and the customer service team are supposed to raise the issue with them to sort out.
You could contact that Mods but they sometimes take 3 days to reply, especially with it being the weekend. -
My ipad2 says it can't connect to iTunes Store when I try to download something. I could do this a few days ago but not now. Anyone tell me why?

I have a web app that uses hash marks to display different "pages" without actually changing the page, using the hashchange javascript event. The emails the app send out contain links with hash mark and variables afterwards, but when these links are clicked and opened in Firefox 4, Firefox removes the hash and everything that follows, so the link doesn't work. Why would this change be made (it didn't do it in previous versions)? Can it be considered a bug to be fixed?
I have just encountered this problem myself and found it to be a problem with recording from Fraps at 30 FPS, i tried at first recording the file playing in WMP with Fraps again at 30 FPS and imported a 30 second clip in to end up with only 4 seconds once in premiere. I then tried recording the video's end in WMP at 60 FPS and it seems fine, it is not clipping the duration down at all and so all i need to do is just edit the gaps in between. So i guess for now just record everything at 60 FPS which i assume you largely do anyway for game videos but even your non-game stuff, record it at 60 FPS until whatever the problem is, is solved. If you have any clips need to fix in the mean time, just do as i did and watch them in a video player in full screen and record with the Fraps input sound turned off, then edit the clip in. hope it helps!
Edit : One thing i did try, which might be worth you having a go of just to see if it is the same for you is, try putting one of your problem files into windows live movie maker, i did this and the duration was fine, but the audio was cut exactly where Premier was cutting the whole clip. So it is possible it is not directly a Premiere problem. -

Restarting my iPad didn't work and I can't delete the notes app, since it's one that came with the iPad (I'd lose all my notes that way, anyway). Someone mentioned once that when they synced it with their laptop their notes started working again, but I'd never backed it up to my laptop before, only iCloud.

Fixed it -- go to Settings - General - Reset and select "Reset All Settings." Still annoying, because now you have to go back and re-do all of the ways you customized your settings, but at least Notes is back.
Now if only they'd fix this major "connect to itunes to use push notifications" alert bug that's a constant irritant in some apps and disables others (Dropbox, I'm looking at you) completely. -
Like my header says.. I have a I Phone 4S.. with recently installed OS 7 software.. One problem has occured.. when someone calls me thier phone rings

JohnI have taken it back to the Apple store genius bar, but they say they don't see anything wrong. Well unless you use it all day and experience the problems when they happen, you wont see anything wrong. But there are lots wrong with it. But this would be the same store as I purchased the phone. And they backed up my old Iphone 4, but were not able to get anything to load back onto my new phone. So, I lost pretty much everything. But over time, some of my contacts have started showing up, although i am still missing over 800 of them.

So basically, I have a LOT of music. Like, over 26,000 songs a lot. I am now in the process of going through all of it, song by song, and I have been making playlists on iTunes and syncing them to my phone. Now, I know I can delete the songs manually off of my iPhone, but will they delete off of iTunes as well once I sync back to the computer? I'm worried that all of my work will be for naught. And if there is a way to delete the songs off of iTunes, other than manually selecting and deleting, please let me know. Thank you!

The best way to ensure the content gets removed from your iPhone is to back it up and then Erase All Content and Settings. See the article belows below for more info:

You can remove all settings and information from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch using "Erase All Content and Settings" in Settings > General > Reset.
