what I can do to solve this?

Hi Alex,
Open weblogic console, go to Services > Data Sources and look for your jndi 'weblogic.jdbc.jts.commercePool' on the JNDI Name column.
Click on the data source and go the Transaction tab - you have to check Supports Global Transaction

  • Problem on starting weblogic integration 2.1

I would like to ask you for advise/information on the start-up of the
    weblogic integration 2.1.
I have tried to setup the weblogic integration 2.1 (sp1) at home, but

  • Problem when I starting Weblogic Server Under Eclipse Suddenly Stop

    Hi everyone:
I've a problem, I'm working with IDE Eclipse 3.2 and weblogic server 8.1 I need to debug the application, when I'm trying to start the server and everything look fine and almost at the end suddenly the server stop with this message:
    Stopping Weblogic Server...
Failed to connect to t3://localhost:7001: Destination unreachable; nested exception is:
java.net.ConnectException: Connection refused; No available router to destination
    please I need Help.
    Thanks in advance

i still haven't found a solution to the problem with the specific setup i originally mentioned (wls 9.0, eclipse 3.2 on solaris/sparc). even after upgrading to wls 9.2, the exact same bug occurs.
in the end, i just gave up on the standalone eclipse 3.2 and started using workshop for weblogic 9.2 that comes bundled with the wls 9.2 installation; and the problem does not occur with that setup.
wl workshop 9.2 is based on eclipse 3.1. so if you want to use regular eclipse with regular wls, then maybe eclipse 3.1 is the most stable version to use with wls. hth.

We used the same jdk started medrec example without problem. Any idea for the possible cause?

    Error: native VM not supported
    Stopping Pointbase server...
    Pointbase server stopped.

I believe this is the error you get when you try to start up a JVM with the commandline option '-native'.
Remove this flag from your startup script and retry.
By the way, it may be that you have the environment variable 'JAVA_OPTIONS' set to '-native' in which case:
(first confirm this is the case)
    $ echo $JAVA_OPTIONS
    -native
(Then edit the startup script if you get the result above)
    add in a line:
    # To remove '-native' flag
    unset JAVA_OPTIONS
    and retry.
I have to confess I don't know what the '-native' flag is actually supposed to do, but my JVM also reports back that this is unsupported.

  • Error When Start Weblogic Server

I build a web application under weblogic, before I package all the project
into a war file, it runs correctly under weblogic. But after I package it
into a war file, when I start weblogic , it said that "Error to load
              myapplication".
I checked my application, and found the error was caused by one line in the
web.xml. Because I need to do some initialization when start server. I want
one servlet to be loaded at the time when weblogic server start. There is a
line in the web.xml like this
              " <load-on-startup>1</load-on-startup> "
The problem is caused by this line.
If I delete this line or just remove the number "1", the weblogic can start
without error. But my initialization work can not be done.
Could anyone tell me why and how to solve this problem.
              Thanks

We are using Weblogic 8.1.5 with Tangosol 3.3.1 on Linux servers.
And we added the initializing logic in the servlet's init() method to get all NamedCaches and put into the ServletContext.
When we start weblogic cluster, the first weblogic member will startup successfully with following messages :

    Many Thanks,

    Hi, Gene
Thank you for the response. I will send you our full log files and thread dumps.
I just want to give you more details about our cases :
    1. This only happened without starting cache servers (com.tangosol.net.DefaultCacheServer).
    2. And our application which are running on weblogic cluster will just call "CacheFactory.getCache("XXX")", and running as the Tangosol DataClient.
    3. All weblogic member servers will be up running successfully if our cache servers are up running.
Also I tried to test another case :
Suppose all weblogic instances and cache server instances are up running. Now I trying to restart (kill weblogic instance process and restart) one of the weblogic member, It will up running successfully only if add some sleep times after killing weblogic processes and restarting it. Looks like tangosol cluster need certain time to aware the member has left cluster, then the restart process will be successful.
    Questions :
    1. Should we start our weblogic cluster only after cache server cluster is up running ?
    2. How do we decide how many time we should wait before start new process to join the cache cluster ?
Could you please help to explain this one for me and let us if there anyway we can do to avoid the problem.
    Many Thanks !!!

  • Start Weblogic 10.3.5 in production mode

I am doing a Weblogic upgrade from 9.1 to 10.3.5.
I am also simultaneously doing a Java upgrade to 1.6.0_27.
All changes are done and the project is in in System test mode.
I have configured my Sysytem test environment in development mode and used JDk installed on my computer.
To move the changes to the UAT server, I want to start weblogic in production mode.
can anyone help me as to how will this be different,I am planning thing for UAT and production right now.
Can I run my System test server in production mode .
Is it that with production mode ,we have to use jrockit and not Sun Jdk?
    Please help.
    Thanks,

    Hi
When you started the Weblogic Server, in the starup window (or nohup output file) search for the word named like "Development". When I started my AdminServer and in the output from startup window, I could see a line like this: and in the end it says like AdminServer started in Development mode. On your side search for the word like "Production" or just "WLS Start Mode".
    WLS Start Mode=Development
There should be a way to find out from Weblogic Admin Console, but I am not aware of this.
Coming to redirecting the log file(s). do you want to redirect the startup log file(s) like when you start weblogic, you want all the outputs to go to someother file. Or is it the full log files from each server which are under like domain/servers/AdminServer/logs folder. I guess from weblogic console you should be able to control this.
Coming to redirecting startup log files on Linux, under the domain root folder I created a simple file like admin_start.sh with below contents. And I run this admin_start.sh instead of startWeblogic.sh command. This takes care of starting weblogic and all output goes to specific file I mentioned. Also I can kill this window and still weblogic will be starting:
    DOMAIN_HOME="/home/ravijegga/Oracle/Middleware115/user_projects/domains/myDomain1"
    LOG_FILE="/home/ravijegga/Oracle/Middleware115/user_projects/domains/myDomain1/logs/admin.log"
    nohup ${DOMAIN_HOME}/bin/startWebLogic.sh > ${LOG_FILE} &
The point is if you use > you can redirect to any log file. Google around and you should be able to find more examples for Windows OS also.
    Thanks

  • Start of integration builder takes several minutes

I have a similar problem as described in this topic.
Re: Visual Administrator Tool does not load 100%
When I start the integration builder it takes only a few moments until the logon dialog displays. But after entering the logon information it takes at least 5 minutes to load. And opening the first development object (interface, mapping etc.) takes also a few minutes.
I have this problem since updating my XI test system. Integration Builder of my XI prod system works fine.
    XI Test:
    XI Version: 3.0 SP 15
    J2EE Version: 6.40   PatchLevel 100627.313
    XI Prod:
    XI Version: 3.0 SP 13
    J2EE Version: 6.40   PatchLevel 88028.313
I have set the value MaxThreadCount to 150 as suggested in the thread mentioned. This has no effect on my problem. Of course the J2EE server was restarted.
I have no idea how I ca fix that problem.

We have sp15 on our XIT and the problem with bindHost should be fixed. O course we have checked that. BindHost is set to 0.0.0.0 .

We use java 1.4.2_10 on both systems, XIT and XIP. We had no problems during the installation. We had a going live check on our XIP 3 weeks ago. Java version was checked as ok.

    1. "myserver" is the name of the server. It doesn't want the name of the
    machine the server is on.
    2. It is possible that something is wrong in the license file. I've made a
typo when changing the license on my server that prevented weblogic from
    starting.
    Hope this helps.

  • Starting Weblogic Server Cluster remotely via VPN

We have a site-to-site VPN setup from our office to our ISP so we can
control our system remotely. We can stop our Weblogic servers (in a
cluster) remotely via the VPN no problem via the "stopweblogic.cmd" command
where we just change the IP address of our remote server. We're having
trouble starting them through the WebLogic console applet. We can bring the
applet up & running, but no luck starting them.
Is there another way to start your weblogic servers (besides using something
              like PC Anywhere).
Or is there any documentation that could point to an answer here?
              Any suggestions?

    1. "myserver" is the name of the server. It doesn't want the name of the
    machine the server is on.
    2. It is possible that something is wrong in the license file. I've made a
typo when changing the license on my server that prevented weblogic from
    starting.
    Hope this helps.

  • Starting weblogic server as NT Service.

    Hi,
When I start weblogic server at cmdline our classes generate many
messages like "Server started successfully" etc as console output. But
when I start it as a service I dont see any of these. Can I specify an
output file for all the messages when starting the server? If so what is
    the exact syntax?
    Regards,
    Billo

    Hi.
Most of these messages are also in the weblogic.log file. Is this what you
    are looking for?

    2. Run ./craete_db.sh from newly created domain folder.
    3. Run ./startWeblogic.sh

    Hi
Its been a while I have not worked on Weblogic Portal. BUT after creating the Portal Domain using config wizard, why did you again run create_db scripts. As far as I know, this is NOT required. Is your intention to change the portal db schema to some other database like to Oracle etc. Then why don't you do that at the time of domain creation itself. Give those DB details. create_db is if you ever want to use any other db to have your portal schemas. After doing this, you also should run one more .sql file in one of the folders under your domain root folder structure (something like yourdomain/security/SQLAuthenticator.sql).
Now, the main point is, what ever database you use, when you run Config Wizard and choose Portal Domain facet and click next, next, at one of the screens, it shows all the Portal DataSources details (have default db or modify to use oracle etc). BUT the main thing is in next screen, when you test all these DataSources, there should be button in the bottom like Run Scripts. Make sure to hit this button. Because this will create and run full portal schema scripts. You cannot miss this. Complete the domain creation and start the domain and try again.
    Thanks
Ravi JeggaHow can I run that extra .sql file? The steps I follow in creating domain is as follows:
    Steps:
    1. Select Create new weblogic domain.
    2. Select Choose Weblogic Platform componenets.
    3. Select Basic WebLogic Server Domain - 10.3.4.0 [wlserver_10.3] and WebLogic Portal - 10.3.4.0.
    4. Enter domain name.
    5. Enter username/password.
    6. Select development mode.
    7. Select JRockit SDK 1.6.0_22 @ /usr/local/Oracle/jrockit_160_22_D1.1.1-3
    8. Got following on screen:
Edit the configuration of JDBC data sources. A data source contains a pool of database connections. Applications look up a data source in the JNDI tree, request a connection, use it, and
return it to the connection pool.
    | Name |

    2| portalDataSourceAlwaysXA |
    3| portalDataSource |
    4| p13nDataSource |

Use above value or select another option:
    1 - Modify
    2 - Discard Changes
Enter option number to select OR [Exit][Previous][Next]>Done nothing and go to next screen.
    9. Following appears:
If your connections tested OK, you may now run database scripts. For each JDBC data source, you will select the desired database loading options and database version.
    1|p13nDataSource
    2|portalDataSource
    3|portalDataSourceAlwaysXA
    4|portalDataSourceNeverXA
    5|cgDataSource
    6|cgDataSource-nonXA
    ->7|Skip JDBC Configuration
Enter index number to select OR [Exit][Previous][Next]> Here selected every datasource one by one and loaded their database.
    10. Select Administration Server.
    11. Following screen:
Each WebLogic Server domain must have one Administration Server. The Administration Server is used to perform administrative tasks.
    | Name | Value |
    _|__________________|_____________________|
    1| *Name:      |     AdminServer     |

    1 - Modify "Name"
    2 - Modify "Listen address"
    3 - Modify "Listen port"
4 - Modify "SSL enabled"     Kept all things default and gone to next screen.
