When I try to choose music in iTunes (11.1) to sync to my new iPhone 5S all I see is a blank music screen with 'iTunes Match is on'? On my iPad, iPhone 4 I see all my music as normal? Advice welcome please!

I solved this by restoring my iPhone back to new and starting again. Weird.

Connect the old phone to your computer, right click on it in iTunes, and choose Transfer Purchases. That should put all of your music in iTunes except any tracks that were not purchased from iTunes. If you have any such you will have to retrieve them from the original source, or see: https://discussions.apple.com/docs/DOC-3141.

If you want all the songs from an artist on your phone you can to to the artist view, tap on the artist, scroll to the bottom of the list and you will see a Download All button. This works for playlists and albums too (scroll to the bottom and tap the Download All button). I suppose if you wanted all your music on your phone you could create a smart playlist in iTunes on your computer that would contain all your music, upload it to iTunes match (Store>Update iTunes Match), and then you would get a Download All button at the bottom of this playlist on your phone to download all your songs.

When I try to import photos from my camera roll on iPhone, I can't see them in the import on Aperture

I'm using Aperture(3.5.1) on my iMac(10.9.4). I've connected the IOS device(5S) to the computer, opened Aperture and tried to import from the camera roll on my iPhone. Photos that I see in the camera roll don't show up in the Aperture import window, though I can see them in the camera roll on the phone. In fact, since aug. 23, 2014, none of my iPhone photos show up in the import window.
I've shut down my iPhone and my iMac and restarted both, but no change.
I'm aware Aperture is going away soon. I'd like to get these photos off my phone and into Aperture so when the big merge comes, I won't be missing anything.

Could the photos already have been imported to Aperture using Photo Stream? The Import window will not show them, if the option "Do not import Duplicates" is active and the photos are already in the library.
Check any Import option in the Import settings, that might be excluding photos from importing.

- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.

My iphone will not set up as a new iphone and it constantly goes back to the same screen when hit set up as new iphone how to fix this?

I just updated to 6.1.3 not knowing that i would ahve to completley reset my iphone because i did this while jailbroken, wanted to get rid of it anway but not when i try to set up my idevice as a new iphone via itunes it doesnt do anything i click on it and it takes me to my music and does nothing i click on the iphone thing and it takes me back o the same screen asking do i want restore or set up as new ihpone i have tried both and they do the same thing which is nothing. i even tried to reset it again by putting it in dfu mode nothing is working.... Basically you will have to transfer its contents to the new computer and then restore the iPod and then resync. An iPod can only sync to one iTunes library.

It sounds like you might actually have 4G iPod Touch or 6G Nano as the 4G Nano does not have icons. Use this article to help you verify what model iPod you own.

Thanks, Stedman, that is helpful (I seem to be able to get past the "bubble" somewhat) but it is still there....I have, in the past, stroked across the music of choice and that was it...now the "bubble" with the choice name comes up and if I go all the way across I get a delete choice? Can you help with this also or where would I go to research changes (I see there are 200!!!) in this upgrade?

No.
One of you create a new AppleID and one use the existing AppleID.
But you can still use the items in each iTunes library.
Create separate computer logins for each of you.

As I said - look whether your original file is damaged or not. If not, I wouldn't change it and find out what in your system makes it sound like it's clipping.
Good sound file, with volume maxed out. No need to change anything.
The same song clipped - no chance to repair.
