When installing iTunes I get the following message "Apple mobile device failed to start.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.  What am I supposed to do?  I have tried unstalling and reinstalling the software

When I was trying to install the update to itunes I would get the following message "Service 'Apple Mobile Device' (Apple Mobile Device) failed to start.  Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services.  I could "Abort" "Retry" or "Ignore"  I tried all of them starting with retry first.  Nothing worked.  I then uninstalled Itunes and tried to reinstall and received the same message.  Not sure how to take care of it so that I can use Itunes again.

Try Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
