When J_2IRG1BAL table needs to be updated.
Dear All,
We have created a new material (Finished goods). But not sure, when we need to update the table J_2IRG1BAL.
Please tell me which option I have given is correct.
1. Immediately after the material creation
2. After the goods receipt (i.e. Goods receipt updation in J1I5 with RMA classification)
3. After running a business cycle (Sales order to Invoice)
Kindly update me on this.
Also let me know the process for other materials (Semifinished, Capital, Raw materials)

Its always better to create the entry in J_2IRG1BAL after creation of the material.
You have to enter the below details like
MATNR
FORM packed or loose
WERKS

I have have concern for daylight saving as according to Note 1251372 there is no standard daylight saving time in brazil .
this note mention daylight saving for 2008/2009 (i,e daylight saving time in Brazil begins on October 19, 2008 and ends on February 15, 2009.) and this note is the latest note available.
what would be daylight saving time in brazil for year 2009/2010? should i need to raise message to SAP asking for any new note applicable to daylight saving?

Custom table needs to be updated based on changes in Info type P0000
Hi All,
I have a requirement wherein when we make changes to info type P0000 this should be reflected to a custom table.
If i create a new record, delete an existing record or make changes to a record in INFOTYPE P0000 this should also be reflected in my custom table.
My custom table has 5 fields from info type p0000 and some custom fieds.
please can you let me know exactly which user exit to use to acchieve the solution. and where exactly i can put the logic.

I tried to code in the method AFTER_INPUT and executed but there are few thing which i have come across.
1. when ever i create a new record in PA40 and each time i save the screens of PA40 this method is called and based on check it tries to update the table taht many times.
2. The logic which i have used in the BADI implementations is as below:

3. when i try to activate this chunk of code it gives me error saying "XXXX" is unknown. i tried to declare it under TABLES but in Vain.
4 I have also tried to use the modify statement in IN_UPDATE instead of updating custom table in same method but its giving me same error "XXXX" is unknown. i tried to declare it under TABLES but in Vain.
can you let me know your view on this. The above chunk of code is in case of creating a new record in P0000 info type.

What do I do when Adobe Flash needs to be updated but Safari won't let me??
I have an iPhone 3g and every site I go on that has any kind of content that needs flash I cant view. I go through the Adobe site via the Apple.com all the way to the down load part, click install and then I get a prompt that Safari won't allow the install. Why? is their a way? Please help!!
No - this must come from Adobe.
If content on a website is provided with flash, Adobe doesn't have a flash player that is compatible with the iPhone.
If or when Adobe provides a flash player that is compatible with the iPhone - one that Apple approves, it will be included with a firmware update, or made available via the iTunes app store. -

I can't get the page numbers in my table of contents to update when I update the book.
I'm using Framemaker 11 and I have two TOCs in my book: one in English and one in French. Each TOC links to different documents in the same book. The reference page for each TOC is set and correctly displays the heading 1 and 2 I've told it to display, but the numbers do not update when the content in my document files changes to a different page. I've checked the conditional text settings in my document files; they are correct. When I update the book, I choose to update Numbering, All Cross-References, All Text Insets, OLE Links, Generate Table of Contents, Lists, and Indexes. What am I doing wrong? Thanks.
I just tested this out and saw the same result as Rick - a book with child books ignores all generated files within the child books. This applies to adding content from them (e.g. their titles) to actually including them in the output. This applies to all versions of FM since v.9!
However, there is a workaround for this. You need to use the hierarchical book structure in the parent book and create Folders for each book that you want to add. Then manually add the generated files (TOC, IX, List of..., etc.) and book to the respective folder. This is what it looks like for two child books in a parent book:
Note that the child book generated files (TOC, IOR) show as just regular files at this point in the parent book. To get the page numbering to be continuous throughout the parent book, you will need to make a couple of passes. First set folder, files and books to have the Numbering continue from the previous (if you want all sequential page numbers). This will set the page numbers correctly except for what they were in the respective book TOCs. You will need to use the starting page number of the child TOC files in each folder (it shows in the Book status bar when click on the TOC file in the master/parent book).
To set the individual book TOCs to be correct in the parent book, open the child book and set the TOC Numbering to start at the page stated in the parent book (status bar). Now update the child book to set the correct (parent book) page numbers in the child TOC. [This is a necessary manual step, as the page number assigned in the parent book is ignored when th child book is individually updated and FM uses 1 to start off the sequence in the child book.] Repeat for each child book in the master/parent book.
The final step is to Update the parent book and create the PDF. You should now have all of the files included in the PDF and the child TOCs should show the correct page numbers of the master book.
This whole process of books within books seems a bit borked and one shouldn't have to be jumping through hoops to include child generated files. Please report this as a bug via: https://bugbase.adobe.com/index.cfm -

There may be an easier way but if you are trying to get info on something that has already happened look at your redo logs and archived logs. It would be hard but in V$LOGMNR_CONTENTS you could find the max time for a given object. Note to use this you need to set up log miner. Since you did not give a version try the Oracle 9i DBA Guide pg 9-1.

thank you.I don't believe Oracle maintains a date of last update for DML operations, unlike DDL operations where you can see the date and time of the last change by looking at USER_TABLES.
If you need such a feature you would have to build it in, either adding a column which could for example be updated by a trigger every time the table is updated. However you may wish at that point to evaluate all the requirements. Is it a production database and if so are you looking for some kind of auditing solution ? It is probably to ask some questions liek this to fully understand the requirements before making any changes.

I just updated my iPhone 4 to iOS6. In the process, I ran into a problem and had to restore factory settings. After syncing the phone, I see that 218 apps need to be updated. When selecting "update all," it says "Cannot Download. There is not enough available local storage to download these items. You can manage your local device storage usage in Settings."

My MacBook Pro stated that it needed to be updated. I clicked yes to restart the computer and update but when it restarted it stays on the gray screen with the apple logo and then pops up, stating "unable to find driver for this platform." What do I do?
Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.

I currently have iTunes version 7 on my computer and need to upgrade to version 10 to sync my new nano iPod. When I tried the "check for updates" under the version 7 "help" menu, it said it could not contact the update server. I am afraid if I just download version 10 from the website, it will wipe out my music library. What should I do to upgrade?
Back up your music and install from the website. You probably won't need to do this, but if your library is erased, restore it from the backup.

Okay, that means with the latest iOS software, it requires the latest version of iTunes on the computer. Which computer OS platform are you using. Now you are saying that after downloading the latest version of iTunes that your iPhone is not being recognized by iTunes? Completely different thing, and the iTunes on the iPhone has nothing to do with that anyway. The iTunes on the iPhone is just for purchases.

I have created one form using screen painter displaying text boxes and bind them to the table.
This form is working absolutely fine when there are some data in table (i.e. Browse using navigation)
My problem is, when I click add button from tool bar the "OK" button turn to "Add" that means the form is set to Add mode, but when I click "Add" button after entering some data nothing happens and input data is not stored in Table. The same "OK" Button turned to "Update" when I do changes in loaded data, but my changes are not reflected to table after I click "Update".Thanks Nagarajan,

There is no such query. The table fields is directly linked to Edit Box or Combo Box in form.
From the examples I learned that I have to do something like this to get my table updated
