When my iphone touches my face during a call it activates the hold/facetime. How can this be fixed?

When i put my iphone 4 to my face during a call, it will put the caller on hold, activate facetime, or the other options on that screen. I've had many iphones and this the first hick-up like that. It also happens with my daughters iphone 3g. Is there something that can stop this?

Hello riopeltravel, let's solve this mystery! What make & model phone do you have? Also, have you tried deleting the email account off of the phone and re-adding with the username and password? How long have the email accounts stopped working? Keep us posted!

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at

All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.

I have an iPhone 4 still running 6.1.3 software. A few days ago it stopped working through my car's USB connection (I have a 2010 Honda Civic Hybrid). I can no longer control my music through my car's stereo system. I am unable to choose what song, album, playlist, etc. to be played and cannot skip songs. When I try to skip, it reverts back to the first song. When I choose what to be played directly on my phone, it can only be played for about 30 seconds through my car's stereo system before it stops and displays the message "Unsupported Version." How can this be fixed? (Also, I know it is my iPhone and not my car because someone I know has the same exact car as me from 2009 and it did the same thing on theirs.)
Any help would be greatly appreciated. This problem is extremely frustrating and the alternative of trying to change music directly on my phone while driving is a risk I am not willing to consider. Thanks!

DId you power it off ond then back on?
Did you reset the iPod?
I would try resertting the iPod. Noting is lost.

Put the phone into airplane mode for a little while and see if the battery still drains at the accelerated rate. If so, there is some type of service/app that is draining your battery.
First, try turning off all unused notifications. That did the trick for me when I had this problem.

After closing out, FF will not restart, says it is already running forcing me to reboot. I have removed and re-installed FF and still get the same message when trying to open the internet using FF. How can this be fixed?

When I close out Firefox, and return later to use the internet, I click on Firefox and it gives me a message stating that Firefox is already running and needs to be closed before restarting or reboot my system. Does the same thing happen on any other books that you have in the app ? If not then it's probably just that one book, in which can you could try deleting the book and re-downloading it - if it re-downloads in the same state then try the 'report a problem' from your purchase history :http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1933

You need to fresh install 10.6, programs fresh form original sources and return only vetted files (no TM migrations) from a regular storage drive
But this when erasing the drive use the Security Option: Zero All Data before installing 10.6
What has happened your data got corrupted and it's corrupted on the TM drive too.
So the Zero will map off bad sectors on your drive, the 10.6 install will be fresh, the programs will be fresh and only files will be returned, you'll find out in short order which ones they are.

Once you are back up, then consider making a option key bootable clone.

If it works in Safe Mode and in normal mode with all extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) disabled then try to find which extension is causing it by enabling one extension at a time until the problem reappears.
