Problem when apply SAP Bundle Patch for 10.2.0.5
Hi,
We are trying to apply SAP Bundle Patch (SBP) SAP_102052_201102_SOL64.zip and SAP_102052_201103_SOL64.zip using MOPatch utility. Both MOPatch and OPatch utility have been updated with the latest download from SAP. When applying patch for SAP_102052_201102, most patches went through except for one patch that requires OPatch to be version 10.2.0.5.0. The OPatch version downloaded from SAP is 10.2.0.4.9. Even the OPatch delievered together in the SAP_102052_201102_SOL64.zip file is 10.2.0.4.9.
Below are extract of the opatch log file for this patch:

LimHi,
I went to
http://service.sap.com/oracle-download
then
Oracle 10.2.0.5
then
OPatch
The file I can see there is generic for ALL operating systems and the name is:
OPatch_10205_Generic_v0.zip
it seems that the version is 10.2.0.5, not 10.2.0.4.9 as you mentioned.
I have downladed it and look at the README:
Patch summary:
README file for OPatch 10.2.0.5.0, the Oracle Interim Patching Tool.
I'm not installing it, but it seems that the version is not the same as yours.
Is this the one you have downloaded?
Have you installed it properly? => may be you are running an older one -
When can we expect a patch for Object Array List Data Provider?
Hey JSC Team!
When can we expect maybe, just maybe a minor patch for the Object Array List Data Provider loading class problem? Next Month? This Year? Next Year? Near Future? Long in the future? Sometime in the 22nd century?I think one of the problem is
when u declare the ObjectListDataProvider in ur backing bean
it doesnt appear in the design time straight away
u have to clean build close and re open the project
which is quite time consuming. -
While applying the patch 11i FND.H the installation coudln't be completed.
Actually there is two workers failed because it didn't find the FNDLOADSO.exe.
Can someone send this file "FNDLOADSO.exe" .....
Please it's urgent....if u have a link to this file please send me the link or you can send the file to my email : [email protected]

After applying the Gracenote patch for MediaSource, I am getting the following error: "MediaSource/ctcms.exe--abnormal program termination error" when trying to find CD info.
It works but after getting info for the first CD, and you load a second CD to get info, the error will come up, and MediaSource will crash. After reopening, it will work, but it will crash each time a new CD is put in your dri've, and you have to go through the close and reopen routine.
Is there a quick fix for this, or is this going to require a reinstall of the software.
I do have my CD (which I'll have to dig up), as I noticed under the download page for the Sleek Photo, there is nothing there except the original firmware and the patch and a Zencast download. (As a suggestion, Creative should expand the Sleek Photo downloads somewhat).
I also found a smaller patch from Gracenote, is this patch necessary at all, and again, is there a fix anyone knows about that doesn't require a reinstall.
Thanks.micromouse wrote:
Perhaps, you can give my earlier advice a try:
Go to the menu "Tools->Settings". In the Audio CD/Rip tab page, did you enable "Automatically download CD information for new CD"? If so, you may want to disable this auto download of CD info. You can always click the Click Info to manually retrieve the CD info. Let us know whether this works for you.
Note: My experience shows that it may help if you wait for a while for the CDROM dri've to "settle down" before you manually click Get Info.
Tried it, didn't work. Not a big thing, more of an annoyance than anything.
I used to use MediaSource to transfer files onto my device. Last night, I was transferring a hugh amount of music files using Sleek Photo Explorer, and this transfeered much faster than MediaSource, so I made a new discovery. I like the Sleek Photo Explorer, it is very useful.Message Edited by Tony3 on 09-9-2006 06:54 AM -

KumarHi,
Firstly, do you have a backup to fallback in a worse case situation?
Is the import still running at the OS level - please check whether there is any active tp process at the OS level and the import log files in the DIR_TRANS/tmp directory getting updated ? What are the contents of the files?

Hello,
which is the best PatchSet that must be applied to the database for BIBeans?
In this moment i'm using 9.2.0.5,is better than 9.2.0.4?
and when will be available the patch for 10g,will be better to migrate to this release?
(when I istalled the 9.2.0.5 patch I just installed it and executed the catpatch.sql script,is correct?)
Thanxs
AntonioIn general it is correct that it is the best to have the latest patchset installed.
However, there has been cases where a major patchset required an additional patch in order to work completely with BI Beans. This was the case with 9.2.0.4, which required the 9.2.0.4.1 OLAP specific patch.
For this reason it may be good to check first before installing the latest patch.

Any patch for OEM 10.2.0.5 for OARCLE application management pack??
We already have ORACLE Grid Control 10.2.0.5 (X86 version) on Linux server. We plan to install ORACLE Application Management Pack 3.0 into Grid Control 10.2.0.5.

Thanks.I follow document 812315.1 and OAM installation gudie to install OAM 3.0 plug-in to OEM 10.2.0.5. Everything look fine on OEM server. I also follow 812315.1 and tried to install patchs on EBS R12.1 application server:
3. Apply the following patches for Release 12.1 or higher
Apply AD Patch 8414326: R12.AD.B:1OFF:12.1: INTEROPERABILITY PATCH FOR AMP-ACP 3.0
Apply Interoperability Patch 7616161: R12.OAM.B 12.1 INTEROPERABILITY PATCH FOR AMP 3.0
On R12.1 application server, I installed patch 8414326 and without problem. But when I tried to install patch 7616161 and I got error:
AutoPatch error:

Your current on-site codeline for the entity 'oam' is: 'R12.OAM.B'.
You should not apply this patch.
Apply an equivalent patch that is compatible with your

I have a problem when I apply patch 12539000
Hi all,
I need to upgrade my GI and RDBMS from 11.2.0.2 to 11.2.0.3 on Linux RedHat
I am following this DOC: Oracle® Grid Infrastructure Installation Guide (E22489-04) - (F - How to Upgrade to Oracle Grid Infrastructure 11g Release 2).
When I run Cluster Verification Utility (CVU), I got this fail:

Errors on applying PSU patches for GI (Grid Infrastructure) 11.2.0.3
Need help!
This is all in the version of 11.2.0.3. We created a single node GI with ASM by the user grid. Grid home is /grid/product/11.2/grid/ And oracle home created by user oracle at /oracle/product/11g. I have downloaded the GI PSU patch 16742216 for GI and Oracle DB PSU patch 16619892. I just want to apply the patch to GI home, then Oracle home with different PSU. Here is what I did after unzip the patch for GI:

But got this error. For some reason it looks for Oracle home, not grid home, although I do not have any oracle home environment setup in root user:

All,
I am installing APEX 2.2.1 and is trying to apply the patch for bug 4554072. I have checked the OWA version:

Any ideas? I am hoping that I am just tired and is doing something really stooopid ;-)
Cheers,
AndyAndy,
From the README.txt included with that patch:
- If the PL/SQL Web Toolkit version is either 9.0.4 series or 10.1.2 series and
the database version is higher than 8.1.7.4
SQL> @904x_1012x/privht.sql
SQL> exit
I’m assuming your database version is higher than 8.1.7.4. If so, then you need to run privht.sql and not privht8.sql.

Patch for error code 2131 when burning CDs in itunes for Toshiba computers:
Just today, Toshiba posted patch for the infamous "error code 2131" when trying to burn CDs in itunes on many Toshiba laptops. Lucky for me, today was the first time I tried to do so, but I feel for all you other folks who have been very frustrated about this issue. Here is the link to it on the Toshiba support page:
http://www.csd.toshiba.com/cgi-bin/tais/su/susc_dtlViewDL.jsp?soid=2024958&moid=1909174&rpn=PSAF3U&BV_SessionID=@@@@043462335 6.1208403240@@@@&BV_EngineID=cccgadedlgfhkdecgfkceghdgngdgnn.0&ct=DL&alldocs=false
I'm going to install it now and report back if there is anything tricky about it (I read in another forum that someone had already gotten the patch and had posted a link to it at a private website where there were a few different options and you had to figure out which was the right one, but this should be easier and "official")
Hope this helps!Dell Inc. Dell DM051
hmmmmm. i'm proceeding under the assumption that you've got a Dell 5150/E510. if i'm wrong about that, please check in with Dell to confirm your model prior to applying any updates.
i had a look at the support site for your model (or at least, what i'm assuming your model is). your firmware appears to be up to date for the HL-DT-ST DVD+-RW GWA4164B that you're getting the error on, but there does seem to be newer firmware available for the SONY DVD-ROM DDU1615. so it might be worth getting that, just in case there some kind of odd interaction happening between the drives.
Dimension 5150/E510
otherwise, we'd better check on some of the other usual suspects with this sort of thing:
iTunes for Windows doesn't recognize my audio CDs
... and these resources might be helpful with that:
Using CD Diagnostics in iTunes for Windows to troubleshoot CD/DVD drive issues
Updating the drivers on your Windows PC

I've snooped around this forum to see if there are any ongoing issues with the G5's. There seem to be some problems - but I'm wondering if these issues are tied to a specific model (of the 4) G5's that were released. Here's the story: My trusty Dual
