When trying to sign in to iCloud from my PC I get the message "You can't sign in because of a server error".
This happens on both my Lap Top and Desk Top computers both running Windows 7.

I also have the same problem. I've tried all fixes listed in other forums and nothing works. Running windows Vista 32 bit. Any working solutions yet? Tried every solution listed for the cmd prompt. Turned off antivirus and spyware. Rebooting about 100 times. Nothing works.

This occurred on 10/25/12 at about 11PM CST. The iPhoto icon in both the dock and the application folder is grayed out with the no or do not enter symbol. How can I resolve this so I can access my photos?

I have two iPhoto icons in applications. One is grayed out and has the no symbol, the date of last modification is Oct 25, 2012 11:07pm. The size is 110 KB and kind shows Applic…lassie). When I click on with CMD i it shows:

I keep getting the message you can't sign in. I have an IMAC and a laptop. I signed out of my original laptop that had the program for a week. Computer was in the shop for a week, prior illustrator worked.

I have an IMAC and a Laptop. Adobe Illustrator was originally on an old computer. I signed out of that . Illustrator worked until I took my IMAC into the shop to be repaired. Now I am getting the Can't sign in message. It worked this afternoon after I contacted support and now it is not opening again.

Exactly what is the message you get and when. Presumably you are using IE9 to download the Firefox Installer file.
Try the site http://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all.html to download the latest Firefox version in the correct language.

Thanks, but I've done that several times & it still says I need administraive privileges. I had itunes installed with no problems until I did the latest update. After that it just disappeared, so I tried reinstalling. Now I can't sync my phone. This is so frustrating!

I also have a macbook pro running the same version OS and it installed fine there - I can't find the difference; but, NEED to print from my IMac.

When trying to install Firefox 3.6.11, after extraction, I get the message "The directory name is invalid", and the installation won't continue (Windows Vista Home Basic 6.0).

That's about it.

I downloaded a program from Roboform called rfwipeout.exe. I backed up my passwords, identities, etc and completely removed all traces of roboform. This did not help. When I re-installed the roboform new release it got the same message that it thinks I am using version 3.6 of Firefox instead of 11.0. There must be some setting in the Firefox folders that never gets changed when you update to a new version.
Soon after that I ran a backup of Firefox profiles identities, etc using MOZ BACKUP. I had never noticed this until then but the message asks if I want to backup Mozilla Firefox 3.6. Since 2 completely different programs refer to my installation as 3.6 there must be something wrong in one of the Firefox files.

You should not get that message if you are simply trying to load the shuffle with songs from your iTunes library. If iTunes is trying to Update or Restore the shuffle, and you get that message, try the suggestions in this article
