When will the 2.0 Update be avable?

People say they don't know but apple said early July then a press note said on July 11, 08 (tommorow) So what's the deal?

Just some perspective:
YOu need v2.0 of the iTouch/iPhone software to run the apps and you need iTunes 7.7 to access the apps. Should be available tomorrow morning. I understand that when you log into iTunes with your iTouch connected, you just need to go to the summary page for the iTouch and check for the upgrade.
Regarding the apps: If you log into the iTunes store you will find a link to "App Store" in the top box (labeled iTunes STORE) of the left hand column. When you click on it, you will go to, of all things, to the App Store. There you will find in the left hand column in the second box choices to see "All iPhone Apps", "All iPod iTouch apps and "All Free Apps". Turns out there are about 525 iTouch apps and about 675 iPhone only apps and only about 50 or 60 free apps.
Check it out.
Also, you can get the Applications tab by going to the iTunes Preferences and check the box to show Applications. It will show under the general Library tab.

I advise you not to ever expect iOS 7 for the iPhone 3GS. Historically, Apple has never released a version of iOS that did not include some older hardware, and later come back to include that hardware.

If your phone is branded or locked to Mobitel or another serviceprovider, it might be that they haven't approved the update yet, as they are entitled to. It might also be that Nokia hasn't yet released the update for that region for all I know.
There are also special edtitions released wich may never get any update. Eg. Ramadan version.
In any case, it's a matter of waiting. And it seems that it's totally random if Nokia announces updates, though they have done with some of the bigger updates (n97 v20) or the big update comming for the N8.

When will the itunes store update my podcast episodes?

Well, here it is a month now, and iTunes is still not updating my recent episodes in the iTunes store. Yes, I know Subscribers can still get the episodes, and they show on my Podcast App, but for people searching for new Podcasts to listen to, they can't get my most recent (and better) episodes to listen to. I have sent two emails to the podcasts at apple address, and no reply. I see most podcasts have new episodes showing, and now I'm just getting ****** off about it. The fact the engineers 'know about it' and are 'working on it', does little to pacify me after an entire month of this being messed up.
What to do next? I've been patient and trying to wait it out knowing 'eventually' it will be fixed, but for brand new Podcasts this is a very important issue.

I had this problem too, wrote apple and no reply. Finally I wrote libsyn (where my podcasts are stored) and they replied within a day and also contacted iTunes for me and asked them to manually add my last two episodes. iTunes did that within a couple of days, but it took a couple more days for iTunes to show that anyone was downloading those episodes.
Another problem is that I had been on new and noteworthy for my main category and sub-category before. Those usually update pretty regularly too I think - not sure because i only checked them a couple times a week before I started having these problems. Even though I had twice as many downloads yesterday (430) than normal, it didn't change my standing at all on the new and noteworthy chart. I'm in my subcategory, but haven't made it back up to the main category I'm thinking because of this glitch.
If you have any thoughts on whether or not this is affecting our standings in the categories, Roger, I would love to hear them. It won't have USB printing.
It's up to the printer manufacturer to make their device drivers AirPrint capable.

What I wonder is when folks will start researching their favorite software BEFORE buying a new camera model?
I have never seen a cart pulling a horse!!
We know the our software, we know the new camera will be 'ahead' of updates. its the time between that we all seem to just accept. We should not.
We can go round in circles pointing fingers as to who is to 'blame', thats not the point. The point is, no matter how far you go back, since the advent of digital this has been a problem. Posting on all web sites as far back as I remember contain "when will there be RAW support for xyz?". There are even some on this site back in 2006 asking the same question.
The interdependent link between camera makers & software vendors is not working properly. They need each other yet don't support each other. Do you think Adobe thought up DNG just as a exercise? From memory it was an attempt to standardize, with an open code, a raw format that was universal. I blame Canikon for not wholeheartedly supporting it. Then the Oly, Panny alliance come along with MFT, an ideal opportunity, but proprietary issues prevail as if they got some sort of advantage from it. They don't IMO.
Sorry for the rant, got carried away! Its just so frustrating.
