Where and how do you save 'recorded' files on iPad?

Hello,
I don't have iTunes (only on iPad), or computer, so anything to do with sync or similar is not an option.
I will need to put files from my recording player (a separate dictaphone device) (which is can connect to iPad through camera connection kit) onto iPad. Where and how do I need to save it, so it does not mix with music files?
Also, as a separate question- where do i save music on my iPad that I buy online? e.g. napster.co.uk
P.S. I have those questions because the book I'm learning about iPad, is only talking about iTunes etc, and so the files are automatically downloaded and stored where it has to be stored.

only way to get files to the ipad is using itunes / app store
and in limited ways using a computer
believe with only an ipad your only source for music is itunes and other music providers who make an app in app store to handle it would think a company like amazon would have a player not sure about napster didn't even think they were really around anymore

Depends on the application you are using to create the resume. If you're using pages, it will save to ipad and icloud if you set that up.
How to upload will depend on the web site, they typically will have there own way of uploading or submitting files. Usually a 'upload file' button somewhere on there page.

I'm on Mountain Lion and have version 6.1 of AirPort utility so there is no button to "Disconnect All Users"and the only other option of "removing and re-selecting the drive via Time Machine Prefs" doesn't work either. So this will work.
Launch Airport Utility and select the TC "Edit" button, then select the Disks tab. Deselect "Enable File Sharing" and click "Update". The TC will reboot then follow the same procedure and reselect "Enable File Sharing" and click "Update". After TC reboots again you'll be up and running. Not the neatest way to do it but saves having to unplug the TC which risks disk damage and the whole procedure takes less than a minute.The "Enable File Sharing" button seems to have replaced the "Disconnect All Users" button but with the slight disadvantage that it reboots the TC which takes up additional time.

How, if at all, can you save excel files to icloud?

I think you need to upgrade your MacOS. Mine is running MacOS X 10.8.4.
I am running Numbers '09 v2.3.
Need to sign on to iCloud under Mac Preference Settings.
When I start Numbers, I can view files stored on iCloud, or locally on the Mac harddisk.

My Macbook keeps processing, so I went to the recovery hd amd mac os x utilitiles. from this point i am trying save my files so i can erase disk using disk utility. any ideas.

If you have an external hard drive, you can use the Restore tab in Disk Utility to copy the contents of one disk to another. Note that this will erase the destination drive, and may very well fail. You could also use the command line in the Terminal from recovery mode and copy files that way, but that requires knowledge of how to use Unix filesystem commands. You could also try connecting the Mac to another Mac via Firewire target disk mode and copy the data that way.
Alternately, if your Mac won't start up, you could try just repairing the hard drive with Disk Utility and then installing Mac OS X on top of your existing system. That will replace all the system files but leave your files and apps alone. (Of course, things can go wrong in cases like this, so making some kind of backups would be a good idea.)

How do you save EPS file to an older version in Photoshop CS6?

Just upgraded to CS6 (I know...its a year old!). Every logo I try to open in AI states the logo was created in a newer version of AI and it won't allow me to open it. That is not true as the graphic designer sending them to me created them in CS6. Just confirming... You have a perpetual license (not a cloud subscription), right?
Even if it was just installed, Adobe always makes a practice of delivering their .0.0 version initially and requiring you to update it.
Choose Help - System Info in the Photoshop menus to get the exact Photoshop version number that's installed.
Choose Help - Updates and follow the instructions to update to the latest, which I believe 13.0.1.3.

Don't know if this would help, but for the Mail issue, you could try "Rebuild" in Mailbox from Menu > (select the mailbox) > Rebuild
The AW problem might or might not be related to corruption from the bad blocks that weren't mapped out by zeroing out, or the data that was already corrupted earlier from those bad blocks. After you zero out, you could try re-installing AW. Realize, zeroing out will wipe your drive. If you do this, be ready to re-install everything.
Look over what Limnos wrote earlier. Zeroing and re-installing, clean as much as possible may prove to be the real solution.
Maybe the original damage was only minor, so, before you do this, you could first try repairing the drive (from Disc Utility booted from the disc, "Repair Disc.") Then, if everything is successful, when you are _booted back normally_, repair Permissions. Don't repair them booted from the disc. This might or might not resolve the problem with AW and Mail. At least, if these are the only issues you are experiencing, give this a try before taking the drastic step of a clean install, which involves a lot of work. You can always do this later if you keep uncovering new issues.
See how this goes first and post back with the results. If you take the zero out path, I think you will need to re-format the drive.
EDIT one more thing. You definitely don't want to zero the drive until you have some kind of clone/backup from which to move everything back, or you will lose all your data: mail, documents, music, etc.

Scroll to the bottom of the list. If the contacts inside a group are just a few, there is no counter.

Where and how do you launch the "Reminders" app?

Since updating to the new OS, for the life of me I cannot find how to launch "Reminders" like the other apps. The only way is to go into the Search function and type in "Reminders" to which it then shows up. Is this painfully obvious or am I missing something?

If you round edges of objects, they should be rounded when you save the document, and when you open it again.

How do you save a pdf to Adobe Document Cloud from within Acrobat Pro DC?

I have a full Creative Cloud account so I now have the updated Acrobat Pro DC for both my pc and my iPhone.
On my iPhone, when I opened a pdf I was given the option to save the file to Document Cloud. But on the PC, how do I open this file or others on Document Cloud, and how do I save a file to Document Cloud?
