Where is an attachment saved ?

When I am creating an attachment by <htmlb:fileUpload> where is the attachment getting saved ?

it gets saved temporarily in the ICM cache. if you want to store it permanently you have to read it and store it in a db table
how to read the file upload content:
oninputprocessing
DATA: fileupload TYPE REF TO cl_htmlb_fileupload.
data:file_content     TYPE     XSTRING,
file_length     TYPE     STRING,
file_mime_type     TYPE     STRING,
file_name     TYPE     STRING.
fileupload ?= cl_htmlb_manager=>get_data(
                       request = request
                       id      = 'myUpload'
                       name    = 'fileUpload' ).
file_name      = fileupload->file_name.
file_mime_type = fileupload->file_content_type.
file_length    = fileupload->file_length.
file_content   = fileupload->file_content.
file_content will hold the content which you can store it in a ztable.

    Here to help shed some additional light on this case, jdondr. I also own a Maxx. With your phone, if you access the Gallery, there should be a folder named: Messaging.  If you look at the upper left hand corner, you should see a drop down box. Is it currently set to Albums?

  • Where does email attachment get saved to?

    I received an email with picture as an attachment.
    When I click the attachment link I can download the picture and view them.
    But does anyone know where this picture is saved at? (i.e. SD card? internal memory?)
    Thanks!

    Actually I just found out that you can do two things with the attachment.
    #1. You can view it on the fly - this will keep a cached copy somewhere
    #2. You can save it to your phone - this will save to SD Card/Messaging
    Thanks!

    Look to see where they are stored in iTunes. Most are downloaded and stored in iTunes U under library. Those should be shown in iTunes U which is a part of the iPod app on the iPad. I have had a couple that had bad data in the metadata and were classified as Movies and placed in Movies. I selected those and right clicked (control click if no mouse with right click) on those, selected Get Info, selected Options, and changed Media Kind to itunes U. They were moved to the iTunes U section by iTunes.

    What version of Premiere Elements and what computer operating system? You have a few other threads awaiting follow up, and consequently that information
    is not available elsewhere.
    What is your specific export...
    Publish+Share
    Computer
    AVCHD
    and Presets = MP4 - H.264 1920 x 1080p30 or something like that.
    Specific please.
    But what specifically are you entering in the Save In: field of the dialog that includes the Save button to initiate the export process.
    Are you saving it as a file to the Desktop or to a specific folder on the Desktop? Have you given the export a distinctive file name?
    The screenshot shows the Save In: to the Desktop as a file.
    I have no idea of your background with the program, so I ask these questions so as to take nothing for granted.
    If the computer Desktop is crowded, as mine often is, it is easy to have difficulty spotting a file save to the Desktop.
    We will be watching for your follow up.
    Thank you.

  • Where is the data saved in the srtucture for a particular tcode

    Where is the data saved in the srtucture for a particular tcode.
    For eg in MM01 there is a field with RMMG1
    where dioes the data get saved from this field as in backend it shows the stucture and the structure can hold data only at runtime,
    Please help me
    Thanks in advance
    chinnu

    Hi,
    The strcuture : RMMG1 holds data at run time only that to it can hold only one record at a time.
    so we use this structure to hold data at run time and then we insert those values into database tables for that program.
    Here you can the values stored and processed in the program in the tables : MARA (for matnr ,mbrsh,mtart..),MARC (for Plant ),MARD( for storage location : lgort )...etc.
    so if you want to fecth some data means first you have to choose right table to fetch information by passing values in the selection screen.

  • Where are the files saved in?

    Hello.
    This might look a silly question for you, but it's not for me, since I started using JNLP a couple hours ago.
    Well. I usually would give the users a JAR file or use a setup to put it in a specific folder.
    In my program, I have a database that's supposed to be the core of the app, and cannot be deleted or de-cached at any circumstance.
    So.. I would like to know where the files are saved (heard something about the "documents and settings" folder) so I can later do a backup.
    Furthermore, I would like to know if and how I can save the JAR in a specific folder and if I can include another type of resources to download other than .jar and native libraries (maybe some txt?)
    Thanks.

    They are saved somewhere like this:
    C:\Documents and Settings\user\Application Data\Sun\Java\Deployment\cache\javaws\http\
    But it seems strange the you want to know where they are. I worry that you might be going about something the wrong way.

  • Where are sidebar settings saved?

    I have tried to figure out where the settings you make in the Finder Preferences for the Sidebar is saved. I want to make a script or a profile that will make every device visible in the sidebar. Standard is only external disks and CDs, but I want computer and hard disks to show too.
    I have looked inside com.apple.finder.plist and com.apple.sidebarlists.plist and even compared these files before and after the modification i made in the GUI, but nothing changes (except which tab I was in, in the preferences window).
    Does anyone know where these settings are saved so I can use 'defaults', 'PlistBuddy' or a profile to deploy this to our clients?

    Ok, but I will post the answer here, because I found it out myself now. It may help someone...
    Make a profile from com.apple.sidebarlists.plist, download it, change PayloadScope to System and change "forced" to "Set-Once", voila! The last step, changing forced to set-once is the key for making this work!

  • Where are my photos saved, how to archive photos

    Hello,
    currently I had imported photos from a camera to my MAC by using iPhoto import and event functionality. Now I would like to backup my photos by using rsync. But I can not find my photos as files on the disk.
    Where are my photos saved?
    I am a new MAC user with some expirience in Unix qnd Linux.
    Thank you in advance

    Most Simple Back Up:
    Drag the iPhoto Library from your Pictures Folder to another Disk. This will make a copy on that disk.
    Slightly more complex: Use an app that will do incremental back ups. This is a very good way to work. The first time you run the back up the app will make a complete copy of the Library. Thereafter it will update the back up with the changes you have made. That makes subsequent back ups much faster. Many of these apps also have scheduling capabilities: So set it up and it will do the back up automatically.
    Example of such apps: Chronosync - but there are many others. Search on MacUpdate or the App Store

  • HT4753 I have a very simple question: how do I view where Lion has autosaved my current version to (without the convoluted route of using finder)? In days gone by i'd simply use the save as function to see where it was being saved.

    It's actually even easier than using Save As to see the full path to the currently open document. Just do a "Secondary click" on the document title in its window's title bar.
    Like you, I relied upon Save As my whole life to check a file's location and considered it a must-have capability. Turns out it's even faster to use the single-click method to reveal the full path to the open document. It displays the entire path to the current document starting from the level of your Mac, and works for files stored on drives as well as iCloud.
    If you're not sure how to do a secondary click, go into System Preferences, select Trackpad, Point & Click to find the current preference for secondary click on your Mac. If you happen to have a mouse with more than one button, it's probably the right button. As a trackpad user, I check the box to "Click or tap with two fingers," so a simple two finger tap on the title of an open document reveals its full path. This feature actually has been around for a very long time.
    Note that this is not the same thing as the Autosave and Versions menu, which is exposed using a little drop down triangle to the right of the title. There is no visual clue for the presence of this feature - you just have to know it's there, probably because this feature goes all the way back to pre-OS X days.

  • Where does FCE save "saved" projects (as opposed to Autosaved projects?)

    With 3 external hard drives and very little brain, I have become confused as to where FCE puts things. This recently became an issue while trying to run FCE from a bootable clone (just to check things out - no emergency.)
    I am keeping all captured media on the big Free Agent Pro, tho' it only goes @FW400, and have assigned render files to the faster G-raid mini and the half of the LaCie D2 that is not partitioned off as a cloning target. Just discovered that my System Settings "Search Folders" list had gone blank, so I listed every drive with anything at all on it, and suddenly FCE on the clone opens my current project in its most-recently-saved state.
    So WHERE was it saved? Any clarification much appreciated. The guys at CCC say there's nothing wrong with their clone and it's FCE and my "very complicated set-up" that gave me problems, and I am beginning to think they're right! Thanks, Sharron

    As mentioned in an earlier post, you (the user) decide where project files are saved, not the Mac or FCE.
    When I save a new project the choice "Save" is greyed out and "Save As.." is not (all as usual throughout Macdom). I get the usual Save dialogue box and am asked where I want the file saved. Having made my choice, that file and all other versions using "Saved" (no longer greyed out) are all saved in the same place. To change the place, use "Save As.."
    You, the user, are forced to decide the resting place for project files.

  • Snow Leopard Automator - where are the files saved?

    Hi,
    I've been trying to run some Automator apps I have. In Tiger, the files would be saved in the same directory as the original files, but in Snow Leopard I can't find them anywhere. I'm having trouble with Spotlight (in another post), so I can't search for the files as I would normally do.
    Any ideas where Automator might be saving these files? Same behaviour when I create a new app as well, can't find the files...
    Thanks

    I think I just found them myself: in your user's Library > Workflows > Applications

  • I want to publish my changes.  Where is my website saved?

    I have updated and made changes to my website and I want to publish my changes. It says it is publishing (using Cyberduck) but it still looks the same. Where is my website saved? How can I make changes?

    Before you can attempt to use Cyberduck, you have to have published your site to your desktop - you can't use Cyberduck unless it has already been published and you also need to have a hosting account with a domain hosting company before you can upload anything with Cyberduck.
    If you have an iWeb created site then you need to make changes within iWeb itself and then publish from there.
    Your domain file is stored under User/Library/Application Support/iWeb/domain.sites. Find this domain file and double click and iWeb will open it. Make alterations to your site and then publish to the relevant place either MobileMe or in your case to a folder on your desktop and then upload with Cyberduck to your host.
