Where is my outlook 2010 calendar gone? After installing iCloud I have no appoinments in my calendar. I am getting reminders from my calendar but I nothing is visable. Help!!
I updated my iTunes, iPhone and installed iCloud onto my pc. With iCloud calendars installed I have lost my outlook calendar. I can not veiw it but I am receiving reminders that I had set in my old calendar.
Where has it gone??

Are you using Exchange account? If you are changing your Exchange account to use a proxy server, I suggest we can create new profile and automatically re-configuring your account with autodiscover service to have a try:

If the account can’t be configured automatically, please manually configure the account and change the settings for procy server:
1. In the Account Settings dialog box, click the
Email tab, click to select the Exchange account, and then click
Change.
2. Click More Settings. On the Connections tab, click
Exchange Proxy Settings.
3. In Connection settings, type the proxy server FQDN under Use this URL to connect to my proxy server for Exchange, click OK to have a try, and then click
OK to save all settings.
4. Restart Outlook.

If I try to play a certain person's vevo videos for example they won't play. Other videos posted by people will play, but it seems like if it is an official page by whoever (Lady Gaga, Justin Bieber, etc) they won't play and I have no idea why.
It seems to be any videos that have an ad that play before them won't start. I'm thinking it may be an issue related to Flash.

After installing icloud, all calender info is gone on ipad. Iphone stll has info. When entering info on ipad calender, after a few min, the iphone will recieve calender info. All calender info on ipad disapears. Can any one help?
I'm having the identical events...Outlook calendar entries grayed out on my PC installed iCloud and absent on my iPhone. iPhone entries do show up in Outlook.

HT4864 Outlook 10 will not send after installing icloud on windows 7 PC?
After installing Icloud on PC with Windows 7, Outlook 10 no longer sends messages. It places the messages in the outbox of the Data Folder and provides an error message is not accessible. I have not been able to configure my email folder to receive the sent message to the email outbox!
Also, if Icloud is uninstalled, all outlook email folder are no longer accessible because of lack of access permissions!
The incoming messages work. The newly defined icloud mail capability appears to work well.
How can I get Outlook to send messages as it did prior to ins taking Icloud?bump

Are there any known conflicts between Mountain Lion (10.8.3) and Microsoft Outlook for Mac? After installing, I can't send or receive eMails. Using a Macbook Pro.
Is this a recent problem or has it been going on for some time. If you just updated to ML, you might want to confirm that you've update to the latest MS Office / Outlook patches.

Does anyone know where the iWeb data files are located or what they are called? I can't find them. I looked in Finder for files named the same as my website, but found nothing. Any help would be appreciated.
If you erased or replaced your hard drive since iWeb was cancelled, then they are gone. Otherwise, if you have maintained backups then check those.
Usually such files are in the /Home/Library/ folder or a sub-folder.
Exposing the /Home/Library/ Folder
Pick one of the following methods:
A. This method will make the folder visible permanently. Open the Terminal application in your Utilities folder and paste the following at the command prompt:
chflags nohidden ~/Library
Press RETURN.
B. Click on the Desktop, press the OPTION (⌥) button, select Library from the Finder's Go menu.
C. Select Go To Folder from the Finder's Go menu. Paste the following in the path field:
~/Library
Press the Go button. -

If this is only happening for one user, then check for the presence of a dbv.log

Mavric doesn't support my 5 years old Big Screen Display, OR? Tried to connect my Mac Book Pro after installing Mavric, The Screen didn't work as before. I could only see the Desktop but not the movies for example.
<E-mail Edited by Host>It appears what happened is the installer though it was looking at a empty drive and just went ahead and installed.
I of course am assuming here you didn't use Disk Utility to format the drive first before installing, that would wipe out your files and programs for sure.
So what to do, what to do.
Well there is hope for you as long as the drive wasn't Filevaulted.
I'll explain. When a hard drive writes data for the first time to a drive, it starts at the very top and works it's way down.
When OS X was installed the first time, it was at the top of the drive, unless you upgraded then the upgraded OS X could have been written elsewhere.
Now when you just reinstalled OS X, the new OS went on the top of the drive, overwriting any data that was there previously, so what was there you have lost forever which is about 8GB or so. If it was the previous OS there, then your more in luck because only the old OS X was overwritten.
The remaining space on the drive still can have a copy of your files, provided it's not overwritten yet.
It's because when a hard drive deletes data or reformats, it doesn't remove the data off the drive or overwrites it immediately, it's just made so it's SPACE is available for new files to be written there.
So technically one can recover the deleted data off a non-encrypted/scrubbed hard drive with special software.
The way it does this is it reads the 1's and 0's of the files themselves, and through a lot of figuring out, can tell what that file is and what it belongs too.
So what you will have to do is this:
Create a data recovery/undelete external boot drive
or if you don't have the skills, then take it to a local PC/Mac tech and they can do a direct image of the drive and then you can run Data Rescue on it to rebuild your files. -
After installing Leopard, my G4 will no longer boot in OS 9.22.
(Classic still works, but I need it to boot in OS 9.)
Any clues about what the Leopard installer might have done to my machine that rendered OS 9 boot unusable? (And what can I do to fix it?)

G4 Gigabit Ethernet
Boot ROM version: 4.2.8fl
Accelerator card added: 1.6 MHz
1.5 Gig Ram
I have erased the partition that had Leopard installed on it.
I zapped the pram.
In Open Firmware, I "reset-nvram", and then "reset-all"
I tried to reinstall G4 FW Update 4.2.8, but that must be done when booted from OS 9, and of course, that's the problem: it won't boot into 9.
I tried restarting from 9.2.1 DVD.
I tried restarting from an external firewire drive containing OS 9.2.2.
I tried moving a fresh OS 9.2.2 system folder into an empty partition on an internal hard drive. (Partition was created WITH OS 9 drivers installed.)
All attempts to boot into OS 9 give me the same results - grey screen - no spinning beach ball, no icons or logos - just a blank grey screen.
This machine still works fine in OS 10.3 and 10.4, and it worked fine for many years booting into OS 9, until I installed Leopard, and I haven't been able to boot into OS 9 since then, although I have done considerable research online and tried many things.
I have since learned that this machine does not support Leopard - 10.5. Fine, but how did it break 9.2.2?

Problem solved.
In the docs that came with my Powerlogix accelerator card, I found this sentence buried:
"If you reset the PRAM, the NVRAM code for OS9 compatibility is cleared, so you will have to boot from the Firmawre Update CD and perform this process again in order to boot in OS9."
The "process" it's referring to is the process of setting up the NVRAM for booting into OS9 from the CD.
Fortunately, I was able to find the disk, and it worked as expected. I can now, once again boot into OS9.
Conclusion: My (unadvised) attempt to load Leopard on this old machine apparently reset the PRAM on the accelerator card and cleared the NVRAM code for OS9 boot. Although I did attempt to reset the NVRAM via Open Firmware, it did not reset it on the accelerator card.
So, thank you BDAQua, for your "Ah yes" . . . that's all I needed to steer me in the right direction.

Please try:
Keep Ctrl + Alt + Shift keys pressed while launching PSE13 Editor and click OK on the dialog that comes next.

1. Upgrade to Office 2011 for OS X.

Can't get SMS Reminders from Google Calendar on Samsung Keyboard
Hi, I would love to get SMS reminders from Google Calendar on my Samsung Keyboard basic phone I just bought but they are not coming through for some reason. I set up the phone with Google Calendar and they sent a text message verification text to my phone which I got. I entered verification number into Google and saved it. Google said I set up my phone successfully. But I receive no reminders. I checked my spam filters with MyVerizon but that looks good.
Any ideas?
