Where is NIDAQmx 64bit common.dll

I installed NIDAQmx 2014 and I am looking for the 64 bit common.dll. I can find the  dnet/assembies (64-bit)/current folder but common.dll is not there. The DAQmx.dll and common.native.dll are there. Where can I find the 64 bit common.dll to compile a 64 bit application?
Notes: in the 32 bit folder all the 32 bit dlls are there including common.dll.

Hi John,
NationalInstruments.Common is platform-agnostic, meaning you can use it in both 32-bit and 64-bit builds. This fact is not explicitly called-out in any of the documentation I found, but I did find the following useful: http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/372636F-01/mstudiowebhelp/html/64bitsupport/ .
Note: NationalInstruments.Common has dependencies which are platform-specific (e.g., NationalInstruments.CommonNative). You have to make sure that, during deployment, you deploy dependencies that will match the bitness of your application.

  • NationalInstruments.common.dll 8.6.20 needed

     I am working on a project which have been developed by the others , I met a problem with the nationalInstruments.common.dll .
    The type 'NationalInstruments.ComponentBase' is defined in an assembly that is not referenced. You must add a reference to assembly 'NationalInstruments.Common, Version=8.6.20.131, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=4544464cdeaab541'.
    so I think I need the right dll version to complete my work , can any one tell me where to find it?

    I think you need to install MeasurementStudio as discussed in http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/46DE00265283A71586256FC000797682

  • Saved files as .PSD now they are "Windows Shell Common Dll" and won't open?

    I am having a problem with opening some files in Photoshop. I am using Photoshop CS5.1 Extended (Version 12.1) and have Windows 7 64 bit SP1 OS.
    I am trying to open a few templates I made in PhotoShop for a client and they worked fine when I used them 3 weeks ago. All were saved as .psd documents. Now when I go to open them they no longer have the PS icon (to show they would be opened by PhotoShop). When I try to open them I get "Could not complete your request because it is not the right type of document." I have had this problem once before but it is confusing to me because 2 of the other similar .psd files I saved at the same timeframe(separate elements for the temlate) are perfectly fine, only the ones I need do not want to open.
    I checked file properties and it claims these files are now Windows Shell Common Dll files. Any ideas?

    I guess you were able to open them in photoshop with open as.
    In the future you should probably try to avoid using periods in the image file names other than for the file type extension.
    You could use - or_ in place of the periods as in VotePedia Invoice 1_5_13  or VotePedia Invoice 1-5-13
    Also, as Noel suggested, going into Control Panel>Appearace and Personalization>Folder Options>View
    and unchecking Hide extensions for known file types will help as well.

    and
    oRecordSet = oCompany.GetCompanyList
    because it can't work like this. It has to be something like
    Dim oCompany As SAPbobsCOM.Company
    oCompany = New SAPbobsCOM.Company
    oCompany.Server = "(local)"
    oCompany.language = SAPbobsCOM.BoSuppLangs.ln_English

    Dim oRecordSet As SAPbobsCOM.Recordset
    oRecordSet = oCompany.GetCompanyList

    Hello,
    I have moved this posting the Legacy forums. RDC has been deprecated meaning it is not longer being enhanced or new functionality being added to it. When CR 9 was release Microsoft posted info that they would no longer be supporting COM so we followed along and created the .NET components. You can find them in: C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\managed. RDC is shipped for backward compatablity only and we highly suggest you move to .NET.
    CR XI R2 is the last version the RDC is being shipped in. CR 2008 no lnger includes craxdrt.dll, craxddrt.dll is there but is not for public use any more, it's the report designer included in visual Studio .NET IDE.
    The files for XI R2 RDC are located in: C:\Program Files\Business Objects\Common\3.5\bin
    Also, as a reminder do not post the same question multiple times and this is a community area for all users of CR and BOE SDK's, it is not a case management system. If you would like a dedicated support Engineer to help you with your issues please purchase a case, links are on the main page.

  • Acrobat Pro installed on a Windows 2003 32bit server - where's the 64bit driver?

    Hello.
    I'm still newbie with Acrobat Pro so please bear with me if this is a silly question.
    A prospect of ours installed the TRIAL version of Acrobat Pro Extended on a 32bit Windows 2003 server and everything went fine; this server "serves" a number of Windows 7 64bit boxes which are supposed to share the PDF Printer created on the Win2003 server during the installation.
    Problem is that when the printer gets shared and clients try to install it, the 64bit driver could not be found.
    The customer tried to install the 64bit driver on the Win2003 box but he does not know where to find the correct .INF file for 64bit windows client.
    Thanks,
    Rob

    Two facts for consideration. As I understand it the trail only comes in 64-bit. Don't know for sure since I have never downloaded it, but that is a faint memory.
    More importantly, read the EULA carefully before you purchase for the type of application you listed. The general EULA does not allow the use of Acrobat on a server in the manner you have indicated. You have to purchase Acrobat for each machine, not a  server. You may have enough that need to use the product that a volume license is in order -- contact Adobe for that. In the meantime, use the Acrobat Trail to test the features and such to be sure it meets your needs (other than the server use).

  • Where can I find the dll for my Agilent E82xx?

    I unzipped the library files of the E82xx driver in a directory in the inst.lib folder and wanted to start a VI, when the message came that the E82xx_32.dll could not be found. Do I have to download this file or where do I get if from.
    Greetings!

    Bob,
    You need to install the Agilent VXIplug&play driver first. On the LabVIEW driver download page, there is a link to the Agilent's VXIplug&play driver but it is currently broken and we are in the progress of fixing it. Here is the correct link to all Agilent's VXIplug&play drivers:

    The VXIplug&play driver for your model can be found here:
    http://adn.tm.agilent.com/index.cgi?CONTENT_ID=2663
    I hope this helps.

  • Where do we put common JARS in enterprise/web applications

    Hello everyone,
    Could someone please advice me as to a good/best way to handle this scenario:
    1. an EAR contains a bunch of web applications, which have to use a common archive of classes, like an XML parser for instance. Where can i put this JAR? the brute way would be to put in the WEB-INF/lib of every web-app, but...?
    Grateful for any suggestions,
    deepak

    Well... depends I suppose on your container. We use IBM's Websphere... and we have several EAR's that contain a half dozen or so dependant JARs... we "import" them into the EAR, and then whoever must have access to these dependencies references the EAR's path in the "Java Buildpath" and "Module Dependencies"
    The dependant JARs are just put into the root directory of the whatever EAR we happen to be dealing with.
    The trick is in whatever resource (i.e. EJB) is making sure that its MANIFEST is aware of the location of the dependant JARs, which IBM's Websphere Application Developer Studio handles all that stuff for you.

  • 64Bit COM Dll not get registered.

    Hi ,
    I'm trying to register 64 COM dll on 64 bit machine but it not get register with regsvr32. It gives error as follows
    "The module 'C:\program Files\XYZ.dll' was loaded but entry-point DLLInstall was not found. Make sure that C:\program Files\XYZ.dll' is valid dll or OCX file and try again"
    Dll exist at that path. On some 64bit it get registered.Please provide me a solution.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hello,
    The best way is to ask the provider for the documentation of how to register the COM properly. Your question is not realated to Visual C# language.

  • Where can find the OBServer.Dll

    Hi partners, I have this trouble, when I try to connect to SAP, I receive this message “Failed to Extract OBServer.dll from Cab File”, I don’t have this problem in my computer, the problem is when I try to run the program in another computer, I was read about a directory in Windows\Temp, that contains this dll, but I don’t know how can install this in the client computer…
    I regard any help about this
    Thanks

    Hi Karlo,
    The OBServer.dll file is stored in the SM_OBS_DLL folder in the user's temp directory. There are a number of causes for this error message (if you've got a S User account then you can search through SAP Notes for this error message).
    Here's a few things to try:
    1) Try running SBO using an account with full admin rights on the machine. If SBO runs fine under this account then its a Windows user privileges issue.
    2) It could be a damaged CAB file. You can correct this by rerunning the upgrader common utility from your current patch to rebuild the CAB file (caution: don't take this step on a production system unless you are sure of what you are doing and have full recovery).
    3) Check that your user profile on the workstation has a temp folder defined and there is sufficient disk space.
    You can also try deleting the SM_OBS_DLL folder in your temp directory while logged out of SBO as this is rebuilt the next time you try and use the DI API.
    Kind Regards,
    Owen
    P.S. Doh! Rasmus beat me to it

  • From where do I get agexx_32.dll?

    I am missing agexx_32.dll file while I am developing driver files for 8267D Signal Generator.From where do I will get agexx_32.dll ?Kindly provide me the path for the dll.

    Where did you get the driver? An Agilent 8267 instrument is not listed on NI's driver site. If this is an IVI driver, look in VXIpnp\WinNT\bin. Otherwise, go to the origianl site and see if it lists other files needed to be downloaded.

  • Windows: Is it possible to optimize space usage, when both Mozilla Firefox and Thunderbird are installed? I see that some files are the same in both applications (mostly common DLL libraries) - even 10 MB

    I think that the best idea is to add one folder: Mozilla shared, just for all shared libraries.

    Hm.. it is nothing critical. Not a bug, error nor mistake. Just my idea.
    Just thought about it as in similar applications:
    All Open Office software use shared libs, Microsoft Office too.
    And it could keep both Firefox and Thunderbird up to date. Now both applications update seperately, and many files (compressed, but still) are downloaded two times. The biggest files:
    d3dx9_43.dll, D3DCompiler_43.dll, mozjs.dll
    but there are many others.
    You should decide if it is worth to show my sugestion..
