  • Where is the Applet JAR file?

When an Applet (the JAR) is downloaded to the local PC, exactly where (the directory) we can locate the Applet JAR file? Is the file managed by the Internet browser?

This has got to be browser-specific.
You shouldn't write code that depends on this kind of information anyway.

  • Consolidator API. Where is the consolidator.jar?

I've installed the 9iLite mobile development kit but I can't find where the consolidator.jar file is. From the documentation in mobile\doc\javadoc\consolidator there should be a consolidator.jar and a wtg.jar. I don'd think either of these exist.
    Thanks,

I am knew to the Oracle world, and I am strugling with the very scanty, and often misleading or inaccurate documentation. So I understnd your frustration.
Recently I have posted some sample code, and statements on the OracleLite forum under the name Thomas G. Matney, that should be of help to you. The code is not bullet proof yet, but it is improving each day as I discover how the ConsolidatorManager, and ResourceManager functions work the hard way, by trial and error. It sure woul be nice if the documnetation was not so laconic.
Good luck. I hope the code I have posted helps. Look first at the code at the download site http://Yggdrasill.cfr.msstate.edu:7778/SyncProblem.htm. Also look for my statement that the MGP must be running, I think, for replication to work correctly.
I should have a significantly improved version of my Publish.java code in a few daya. I am also working an Unpublish.java program to programatically delete a publication created by the Publish.java program. The Unpublish.java code will be available next week (September 3) after I return to Mississippi from Utah.
I hope the code helps. Let me know if it does. The publication wizard is confusing, and does not work for me.

  • Where did the jstl facet go

I have oepe for helios and can't seem to find the jstl face. i need a different version than the one that oepe seems to be adding.
also it seems to add a jstl1.2 depoyable war to my domain. how do i disable this ?

    Hi,
Which JSTL facet version are you trying to add ? You can use either JSTL 1.1 or 1.2 via the IDE.
Regarding the version used by default, this can be modified in the JSTL facet configuration page, if you click through the wizard. You can use the User Library option to specify a custom library during project creation. If the project has already been created, you can edit via Project Properties -> Project facets -> JSTL

  • How to add the stl.jar file

    Hi,

The jstl.jar and standard.jar files should be in the web-inf/lib directory of your webapplication.

  • Where (on the Sun site) are the TLD files?

Could someone tell me where I can find the c.tld tag library descriptor file for jstl.jar ?
I am unable to find the *.tld files for jstl.jar and other jsp libraries.
    Not here:
    http://java.sun.com/products/jsp/jstl/
    Not here:
    http://java.sun.com/webservices/jwsdp/index.jsp
    Not here:
    http://java.sun.com/j2ee/1.4/download.html
I downloaded the j2eesdk1.4.1 , and the files were not in there. I installed the entire app server.
I already have 5 app servers installed on my machine. This is very annoying.
Generally, it takes me too long to find what I'm looking for on the Sun site. In this case, I can't find it at all!

Do you have the jstl.jar and standard.jar? If you rename standard.jar to standard.zip, open it up, look under META-INF, the tlds are there.
