Where to download PeopleSoft Change Assistant Template for Upgrade ?

Folks,
Hello. I am upgrading PeopleTools 8.49 to 8.50.
After configure Change Assistant 8.50, we need to download a specific Change Assistant template for upgrade process. I cannot find where to download it.
Can any folks provide a link to download PeopleSoft Change Assistant template for upgrade PeopleTools 8.49 to 8.50 ?

Hi,
You have to be a customer with a current maintenance agreement to have valid access to My Oracle Support (http://support.oracle.com) and the upgrade documentation and templates.
Current customers who share documents and information from My Oracle Support with non maintenance customers, and others, may be in breach of their license agreement with Oracle.
For reference:

    How do I change the template for a pages document?

    Once you've opened it, the opened document is no longer a template. Edit it as you would any other Pages document.
    If you want to use the edited document as a Template, then , after editing, go File > Save as Template, give the new template a name, and click Save.
    The old template will remain available in the location where you found it; the new one will be in the My Templartes sectionof the Templates Chooser.

    I create a new document based on the Pages "Reports > Business Report".
    Now the first page is formatted as a "Cover" page with a larger top margin.
    Via "Format > Advanced > Manage Pages..." I see there are what I assume are the "Page Templates":
    - Cover
    - Table of Contents
    - Chapter Page
    - Text Page
    - Appendix
    My question: How can I change the template for a single page in my document? E.g. I don't want Page #1 to be formatted as "Cover". I'd like it to be a "Text Page".
    Any hints?

    Just delete the Cover section and insert a Text Page.
    Click on:
    +Toolbar > View > Page Thumbnails+
    Click on the Cover thumbnail, it will be outlined in yellow, hit delete.
    It may start off with certain defaults but you do not have to accept them.

    hello, where  do i download the 19gb of content for mainstage 3  that was in the jam packs?
    Just got mainstage 3 and need the content.
    hope nothing has changed in this regard.

    Open Mainstage 3 and select Mainstage 3 in the menu at the top of the screen. Select downlaod additional caontent. Jam Packs are in the Legacy folder. Select the box for Legacy and Compatibility and install. That should do it.

  • Change default template for a given Theme

    Can we change the default template for a theme ? (if yes, how). I had selected theme 3 (business) during the creation of my application with 2 level tabs. After creating parent tabs and standard tabs and getting it working I changed the theme to theme 12 (blue). When the theme got switched, the default application page template became a 1 level tab.
    This was because for Theme 12, the default Page template is 1 level tab. I want to change this default Page template to 2 level tabs. I couldn't see option of making this as a default.

    Sorry, I found the answer in the documentation in Chapter 7 under
    "Changing Default Templates in a Theme".

  • Change page template for favorites module layout

    I would like to change the template the favorites module layout uses.  I don't see a way to change this layout from the site default in the favorites layout page.  Is this possible?
    This is the page that a user would see if they try to add a favorite but are not logged in.  Not the list of favorites they would see if they were logged in.

    Kind of....but not really.
    I had a need to essentially create 2 websites under one domain.  Each one had its own look.  In the section of the website that used a different background template other than the default is where I needed the favorites list.  When a user click on the add to favorites link when not logged in, the user would be taken to a page with a completely different look.  My solution was to hide the 'add to favorites' link based on if the user was logged in or not.  If they are not logged in they see a log in option, not the add to favorites option.  Going that direction allowed me to bypass the favorites module template all together and use the module favorites tag on a custom page to display on the proper background.
    I don't know how elegant this solution is.  It may be little bit of pounding a square peg in a round hole.  My coding knowledge is limited.
    The other problem I have with the favorites layout is that it just lists the items.  I can't figure out an option to tile the entries in a 3x3 grid like is possible when viewing them in a category.  One option I found that has potential, but I have not yet tested, is to edit the layout in Dreamweaver.  This would allow you to create a better suited table that the editor in BC dose not recognize as valid HTML even though it is.  I am using Adobe Muse to build the website, so I don't know what will happen if I add Dreamweaver to the mix.
    I hope that makes sense and/or is helpful.

    I have to modify the standard SRM PO screen. I have modified the screen and added the requirement tracking number field but on activation it gives me message to adapt the HTML template manually.
    How to change HTML template assigned to the screen? Also what more needs to be done for the field to appear on the SRM portal?
    I am not aware even of the transaction code to be used.

    You need not chnage the Standard SRM screen nor the HTML template  to add a custom field in the PO sceen.
    Please check these notes:
    672960 - user-defined fields.pdf
    676016 - user-defined fields.pdf
    There is an additional note for req tracking no not available in SC but in your case you want the field in PO so wont be relevant.

    Hi All,
    I am pretty new to change assistant, I am configuring Change assistant and it seems my configuration are in correct. CA is able to find app/web,database not able to find my File server.
    I am using Peopletools version -8.52.12, Detailed steps given below,
    Tools, Options, Environment Management
    Clikc -(View) Opens -Environment Management hub summary for the environments.
    Its shows
    Database Name- DBXYAB
    File Server- No
    Database Server- Yes
    Application Server- Yes
    Web server- Yes
    Is there a way to find, what the issue will be and trouble shooting tips, if any.

    Given your stated configuration, it should identify the machine running CA as the file server. Worst case, you just have to manually copy files into the file server from the zip file. This is only necessary for your own development purposes. The app and process scheduler servers will use the versions deployed to ps_app_home/ps_home.

  • Changes in templates post upgrade from 5.6.1 to 5.6.2

    Hi,
    We have developed templates using XML publisher version 5.6.1. We are currently having XML publisher version 5.6.2.
    Any modifications done in the existing templates using 5.6.2 version changes the
    source code, size and several other attributes of the templates. That is, the
    entire template is changed. We are facing the following issue in the reports due to
    this.
    Issue: Many Reports have Barcodes in them. The Barcodes are used for scanning the details of Items etc. In the Reports which uses the original version of the templates (5.6.1), the Barcodes are scanable. But we need to modify the Templates in order to add a few fields, text etc. After modification in version 5.6.2 the Barcodes of the report generated from these modified templates have become un-scanable. We are unable to track the reason for this and this issue is causing serious business problems.
    Any inputs on resolving this would be highly appreciated.

    When you say you followed the upgraded step in the guide carefully, in addition to the database upgrade, you didn't run the UpgradeManagerDriver.exe, did you? That is intended for upgrading from 4.5ws only. As far as I know, the upgrade from 5.0.1 consists basically of:
    Uninstalling/reinstalling the portal and job server and other software (saving the config files for reference/reconfiguration)Running a single database SQL scriptIf it was much more complicated than that, then perhaps you corrupted the DB?

  • Where can I get iPhoto v5 Templates for iPhoto 08?

    My wife and I are very disappointed to see our favorite photo book templates missing in iPhoto '08. It has delayed our purchase of two new iBooks and/or upgrades to Leopard.
    We have enjoyed making photo books together. And we purchased a 30" screen and a 17" MacBook Pro to enhance the experience. We have discovered that iPhoto 06 will not run remotely through the MacBook Pro because of library conflicts. We are limited to using iPhoto 06 on our old G4 Macbooks, but it is not the same as sharing the enjoyment on the large screen.
    Apple Computer has disappointed us here. Any way we can get the old templates so we can either buy Family Pack Leopard and enjoy iPhoto '08, or are all parties stuck here?

    I tried using an older theme with iPhoto 8 and it just wouldn't work. One user claimed to have been able to get them installed for iPhoto 8. Do a search for "older themes" or "iPhoto 6 themes" in the iPhoto 8 forum.
    TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
    I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

    Now when I attempt to update QuickTime from within QuickTime (7.6.9), or from WinXP Control Panel> QuickTime, it says new version 7.7 is available but it then takes me to webpage http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/ that STILL lists version 7.6.9 of QuickTime !!
    Thinking that maybe Apple had simply "forgotten" to update the version number on that webpage, I went ahead and downloaded the QT package, but when I unpacked that installer (using WinRAR), I see that indeed the downloaded package itself is indeed v7.6.9.
    So at the moment, even though Apple 8/3/2011 announced & QuickTime claims to provide the new v7.7, in fact Apple is serving up old version 7.6.9.   > FAIL !
    If anyone figures out how/where to actually get v7.7 for Windows (WITHOUT the bloated "Apple Software Updater" component), please post here. Thanks.
