Where to find information on retail phones and plan charges?

Where is a link to information about the current policy about purchasing a retail phone, and if it can replace a current phone that is out of contract? Are old plans continued when purchasing a retail phone?

I'm trying to find information about X/OPEN SQL States explanation. Can anyone help me. ?

SQLStates are part of the SQL standard and so you can read up on them from any vendor's site.Here is an IBM explanation that talks about the SQLStates class (first two chars) and subcode.

I have some very important information on the phone I can't lose, How can I retrieve that information if the phone was not backed up to icloud of my mac? I will go to court over this to prove it is my phone. I just can't lose this information. Please, Please, Please, help me. I will mail the phone in to apple store if that will help.

You can't. If your phone is disabled, the data has already been erased...that's the whole point of the passcode. Your only option now is:
Turn your phone off, then force it into recovery mode & restore it:
Leave the USB cable connected to your computer, but NOT your phone, iTunes running, press & hold the home button while connecting the USB cable to your dock connector, continue holding the home button until you see “Connect to iTunes” on the screen. You may now release the home button. iTunes should now display that it has detected your phone in recovery mode, if not quit and reopen iTunes. Why does my iPhone 4 not charge correctly? Problem is definitely with the phone and not charges or chords. Phone will charge but very slowly and no icon comes on. Computer and iTunes doesn't recognize it a being connected.

My iPhone 4 quit charging correctly. It does charge but very slowly and icon doesn't indicate it as charging. I've checked cables and charges and the problem is definetily with the phone. My car stereo no longer recognizes it as a device. Neither does the computer. The real strange thing to me is that when I plug it into my old klispch speaker dock it will play songs. My battery life is good when it is charged so I don't think its the battery. I've tried resetting the phone and cleaning the charging port. I'm out of warranty.
Would disconnecting the battery possibly reset it from some glitch or is the charging port got some bad contacts?

I checked with the Genius Bar. It was a new dilema to the lady that was helping me. She took it to a back room and worked on it but it came out the same. She gave me some options for repair or credit for replacement.
I just kept the phone and put up with slowly charging it by plugging it in and then turning it off.
I couldn't transfer anything from itunes.
I finally got fed up and bought a new charging port for $10. and a toolkit for $3. I looked up a video on youTube for the replacement and did it.
That solved all the problems, it was the charging port, must have been some bad pins or something because it patially worked.

Do you have Wifi at home? Do you do a lot of social media, internet surfing, video etc? Go to settings/data usage/ and scroll up to see what is consuming your data. You can restrict any of these apps from data usage by selecting one, then scrolling up and checking "restrict background data" for each app you wish to limit. Ones restricted will still function on wifi if available. Data can be restored to any app by unchecking a checked box. That's a start.
I keep my S5's data turned off unless I have a particula need when not near wifi. This month I'm near mid way through my billing period and have consumed around 29MB. Not as much fun for sure but much easier on the wallet. Caution, public wifi is likely not a secure connection.
You also can set alert and limit levels for data use by your phone on the Data Usage screen of your phone.

You might profit from a visit to a Minneapolis Apple store. With a brand new Mac, I think they will be most helpful - not just with transferring files, but with other advice as well. And I strongly recommend you invest in a back up drive. The Apple folk can help with that as well.

Restore the data from the backup that you keep of your important files.
Nothing is "lost". Either you deleted it on purpose or on accident, nothing on a computer gets lost.

Where to find information on system tables like SARI

I'm having problems with installing an addon that was created by a third party. I'm seeing on the forum a table called SARI that contains some information regarding addons.
My question is a general one, where can I find documentation on SARI and any other sbo-common tables, or system tables like OARI?

Hi John,
I don't think I've seen any official documentation on the SARI table. The SARI table contains information on all addons installed on the system, including a copy of the installer in a binary field in the table. References to the OARI and ARI1 tables can be found in the SDK documentation but that's limited to the database reference section. As none of these tables are exposed via a DI API object, I guess SAP don't wish to provide detailed information as changing the data directly in the database is not allowed.
If an addon is not installing correctly and you suspect these tables then it would be best to contact SAP support.

HT4993 Lost receipt for Applecare Protection Plan for my iPhone 5 - purchased phone and plan at a Sprint store. How can I find my receipt so that I can register my plan? My lock button is broken now, and I need to use my plan.

I purchased my iPhone 5 and the Applecare Protection Plan a little over a year ago at my Sprint store. I was not informed that I needed to register my Applecare Plan, so I didn't. Now, my lock button on my iPhone is broken and I want to get it fixed or receive a new phone. PeachMac told me they would give me a new phone which would be covered under my Applecare Plan. I logged into Apple to make sure I still had time on my plan, but it doesn't even recognize that I purchased one and I no longer have the receipt for the plan, let alone the phone. How can I register my plan without the receipt? I'm feeling kinda of ripped off by Apple. Shouldn't they keep a record of who purchases these plans?
Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.

Did you register the AppleCare+ plan at the time of purchase? If you didn't, even if you had the receipt, it's too late. It must be purchased and activated within 30 days of the initial purchase of the phone (it's usually done at the time of purchase). If Sprint didn't activate it at the time of sale, you can blame them. Apple doesn't control them.
