Where to get dbx repair tool?

My DBX files are not small but Outlook Express cannot show messages from it. What outlook express repair tool can solve this problem?

Before going for any third party utility, I think you should try the free Outlook Express basic repair kit provided by Microsoft, which include:
Deletion of temporary internet files
Compacting all folders
Re-register Outlook Express and its libraries

  • Hi, the mini is dead. With or without battery and cable nothing moves. Where to get this repaired??

HP Mini 210 2200sd. Still on warranty.

    hi itrcomp
I would suggest doing a power drain
Remove AC and battery and hold down the power for atleast 15 seconds,
then reconnect just the Ac see if it will turn on.
One thing is sure here, your system is not getting power from the AC,
The light blinking when you have the Battery in is an indication that the battery power is low and it is not charging.
Your troubleshooting steps leaves the AC and the (Power system-DCjack or motherboard) the culprit.
Your System also has a DC in Jack part like this
    Part number 31048400
    PIWG2 DC-IN CABLE-15.6
that might also be the cause.
You can check your system Maintenance Manual about how to go about checking this.
I would suggest to Call Lenovo Technical Support for assistance if your not comfortable about opening the Laptop.
    Best Regards
    Solid Cruver

  • I have old Macintosh LC that recently passed on,  anyone know where I can get this repaired or have the data transferred into something else?

I have an old Macintosh LC that recently went down.  I am located in the Portsmouth, NH area.
Anyone know where I can get this repaired or have the data transferred??

How much $$ do you care to spend to transfer the data on the LC's 40 or 80 MB hard drive?  The original LC is now 21 years-old and has little if any market value (I know - I have an LC I and an LC III), so professional repair will easily exceed that.  It's considered "obsolete" by Apple's authorized repair shops, so parts are not available.  Was it starting up normally before it stopped working, and if so, were the date & time always correct after it had been disconnected from an electrical outlet?  If not and if startups have been hit or miss for a while, your LC undoubtedly needs a new PRAM battery installed.  It's a 3.6-volt ½AA lithium battery and is installed in a black plastic holder w/retainer cover clipped over it on the LC's motherboard.  The battery can be purchased at battery specialty retailers for about $8 or less, as well as from a number of online merchants.  If you don't mind paying 2-3 times the value of the battery, Radio Shack carries it.  If you need directions for installing the battery, post back.  It's the least expensive thing to try and a new battery has brought many a dead Mac back from the dead.  As for the internal hard drive, it could be removed and installed in a slightly newer, pre-G3 Power Mac having an internal SCSI bus.  If there are any thrift stores in your area, you might find a suitable Mac for this purpose.  This would involve removal of the hard drive from the LC and installation in the newer Mac, with a slight change in the LC's SCSI address jumper placement.  Once installed in the newer Mac, the files could be copied.  If this is more challenging than you planned on, you might check your area for a Mac User Group, where you might be able to take your LC and have someone transfer the files for you.  After the files have been transferred to another medium, you may have problems trying to open them on a newer Mac running a newer OS version than the LC's (System 7.0, 7.1, 7.5.x, or 7.6), if the programs aren't compatible.

Apple will exchange your iPod for a refurbished one for this price. They do not fix yours. The price depends upon model and capacity

  • Where to get Ipod Hi Fi repaired?  it just stopped working

Ipod Hi Fi worked fine last night.  This morning... dead as a stone.   I've tried all the "trouble shooting" fixes.
    where can it be repaired?

do any LED color happen when you plug it in?
if only RED, then pug in until red goes out, wait 6 seconds and plug in again.
repeat 3 times and wait to see if 5 green flashes while plugged in
after 5 flahes, leave it plugged in for 90 minutes and it should boot up. if not hold power button down for 20 seconds and try again.
You have 1 year warranty, choose option other when calling in and not phone support. This is confusing I  know.

  • Poor Lightroom 5.7 Performance when using part repair tool

    Hi Lightroom pros,
I'm using Lightroom 5.7 for about half a year and are very happy with it. Unless I'm working on photos where I have to use the part repairt tool to much.
I'm specialized in car photograpy and often have to remove dust from the cars paint work and chrome. When I have to work on hughe areas Lightroom becomes slower and slower. I read that the repair tool costs a lot of performance but I'm wondering if I could optimize something or if there is a workaround for that? Because right now its not usable doing one click and waiting 2 minutes...
I'm using the newest Lightroom 64-bit version on a Windows 8.1 Enterprise 64-bit Laptop with an internal SSD drive. LR is installed on that drive and the Catalogue also is stored there. I have 70 GB of free space on that drive, my catalogue is around 5 GB, my Camera Raw Cache Size is 20 GB.
The machine has 16 GB of RAM and an Intel Core i7 3 GHz Quadcore processor. My RAW files are stored on an external USB 3.0 Drive (not SSD).
When working on that kind of picutres I usually close as much programms as possible, so that most of the time LR is the only working desktop programm. What seems strange to me is, that even if I'm waiting for minutes for LR to answer, that my processor and RAM are only using about 40% of it's power. The rest seems not to be used by LR?!
I would be really thankful for tipps or ideas how to improve that issue because right now I'm really wasting a lot of time.
    Kind regards
    Torsten

I guess this depends on what you are doing, what type of original files you are using, and your own perception of quality. I would believe that in most cases, if you do all the editing in LR except for the spot removal, get the photo to appear the way you want (except for the spot removal), and then lastly move it to PSE and remove the spots, that there isn't really any noticeable loss of quality.
I must admit I'm not a pro concerning color managment. But I already downloaded the PSE testversion and realized that it is not capable to deal with 16-bit color depth. Wouldn't that be noticeable after the finale spot removal step?
So, you should tell Adobe this, not me. This is a forum for users (like me) to help other users (like you).
I know. I just wanted to emphasize why switching to PS wouldn't be the perfect solution for me (even if I'm considering it).
    Thanks so far!

  • Does the Clone repair tool have an Aligned option like PhotoShop?

PhotoShop's clone stamp has an option that is called "Aligned" under CS3 (not sure of its name in prior versions.) When clicked, there is a fixed spatial relationship between the source and destination pixels, even if you complete one clone operation, move the cursor, and click again for another one. SO for instance you can fix numerous places in a photo by always grabbing pixels "down and to the right a bit", only needing to reset your source pixels when you get to an area of the picture where that relationship won't work well.
When it is not clicked, then the clone stamp always goes back to the same spot you option-clicked on originally. It's like each clone stamp operation is "dipping into the well of good pixels" where you told it to, until you reset the source area again.
Both of these modes are useful at different times. As near as I can tell, Aperture clone option on the repair tool only works like the second one, but I sure miss having the Aligned option too. Is there some way to get that effect in Aperture that I'm just not seeing?
    Thanks,
    Duncan

There is no such feature in InDesign.

  • Scene Repair Tool is Missing

I am new to Elements. One of the main reasons I purchased this software was for its 'scene repair tool' which, according to the literature I have read, should be located under the healing brush tool drop menu. A 'Dummies' book that I purchased actually shows a picture of this drop down menu with three options, but my software appears to only have two; 'spot healing brush' and 'healing brush'. Can anyone tell me where I can find this option, and if not, what options do I have to remove unwanted images from my pictures?
    Thanks in advance!
