Where to place 3rd party jars for use with SSPI

I have a question regarding the SSPI. Our custom sspi uses some third party jars
for things such as persistence and caching. Our problem is that the sspi jar
file that is placed in the mbeantypes directory relies on some of these jars,
therefore they must be available at startup. However since we will be installing
the sspi on several different Weblogic 8 servers I do not want to modify each
startup script to explicitly include each jar in the classpath.
Is there a place or a best practice that we can use to allow the sspi find these
libraries? Note: we tried the JAVA_HOME/jre/lib/ext directory which does not
seem to work.

You will need to have them in the classpath

  • Signing  a trusted jar for use with forms

    I have not found sufficient documentation on how to sign a new jar for use in conjunction with forms.
    I have read the descriptions in the getCLientInfo bean.
    This doesn't cover the whole subject.
    What must be done in Jinitiator? for instance.
    Can someone direct me to a more exhaustive source of information?

  • Third party encoding for use with iDVD?

    Hello All,
    I have been doing a little bit of research on this, but I think I need some answers from more experienced users.
    Are there any third party apps that do a better quality job of encoding video for use with iDVD? I edit my videos in Final Cut Express and then I import to iDVD and while the quality is OK I wonder if I can get it to look better ( I use SD footage and I encode in Professional Quality).
    Has anyone here used a third party app that does a better job? (faster and/or better image quality)
    Thanks for your help.
    Mike

    Mike - Be sure and double-check over in the FCE forum to make sure you're using the best settings to make the jump from FCE to iDVD.
    The Pro algorithm is supposed to be iDVD's best setting (for all production lengths), if you have a shorter production (under 60 min), try using Best Performance and see if that gives you anything better.

  • Can any 3rd party sensors be used with this system?

    I have several wireless door sensors currently in use with my ADT system that I plan to cancel soon. Is there a way to use these with the gateway?
    Can any 3rd party IP camera be used with the gateway, or only the ones provided on your site?
    Supported or not, just wondering if theses items will work. Thanx ~

    Zwave is a Propiertary standard protocol.
    Both ADT And Verizon are offering us off the shelf zwave devices.
    So we "should" have been able to use any zwave devices.
    But no...
    it appears that Verizon has decided to lock out anything they haven't sold us directly
    (lock out from their gateway).

  • Classpath and 3rd party jar files

    We have been searching for a long time and have not been able to find an answer to our question. Do you think that you could help us out?
    We need to include 3rd party jar files in our application. Where in the deployment classpath directory structure can we place these. This does not seem to happen when we publish.
    We also need to give our clients the ability to modify our configuration. Currently we do this with an xml file, which we place under server/config in our JBoss directory. We also need to find a home for out log4J configuration file.
    Where does this type of thing exist in the SAP world?

    We have had problems with 3rd party jar files also. We ended up including them in the WEB-INF/lib directory of our WAR file and packaging/deploying them everytime.
    If you are looking for your project on your server, it is deployed to a directory similar to this:
    /usr/sap/J01/JC00/j2ee/cluster/server0/apps
    Hope this helps.

  • Accessing 3rd party jars from ear.

    I was able to create a war with the 3rd party jars in webinf/lib, register it with weblogic and access them from webapps another ear, after specifying this reference in EACH of the webapps.
    However if I want to just make the ear reference these jars, ie., all the webapps in the ear access these jars, without individually specifying the reference, then it gives me an error.
    What is different with providing a reference from an EAR ? I added it to the weblogic-application.xml as the docs suggested....

    I'm writing an extension that is dependent upon some 3rd party jars. How can I include/package these with my extension?

    Do you mean that you need these files to appear in JDeveloper as a library available for the developers who build a project and use your extension?
    You can create a library in JDeveloper with JAR files by simply adding the following to your extension.xml file:
    <jdeveloper-hook xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/jdeveloper/1013/extension">
    - <libraries xmlns="http://xmlns.oracle.com/jdeveloper/1013/jdev-libraries">
    <library name="My Extension Library">
    <classpath> ${ide.extension.install.home}/lib/some.jar</classpath>
    </library>
    </jdeveloper-hook>

  • 3rd party application for album artwork?

    Are there any GREAT 3rd party applications for automatically bringing in album art to iTunes? I've got a bunch of old music that the automatic function within iTunes is not getting anything for. I even tried to clean up some of the info (i.e. make sure it had artist, song name, etc in proper fields), but nothing.
    If that or another app would correct song data also (probably asking a bit much) that would be awesome. I see where some of my very old stuff from back in the MP3 days will have Artist Name-Song Name as the title.
    Any help is appreciated. I dont have a week to do this manually!

    MP3Freaker would be your best bet. I've used others but MP3Freaker works flawlessly, and allows you to do three songs for free to show how it works, and how well. It's $23 but it saved me hours of painstaking work going through my 5500 songs
