Which connection I should use in the ejb clustered environment

We use EJB in jboss cluster environment. We have one oracle database.
our existed system use TXConnection(transactional connection) for the data insert, update and delete. Using the Connection for the data retriving.
I think TXConnection fits to use for the distributed database. So we should change our DAO layer to use only Connection.
Is that true?
Need help.

Huh? Connection is an interface. You will have to use
any implementation anyway.It is not so simple. This is a legit question because he has asking if a specific implementation is required.
It would have been better posted in the JDBC forum. I don't know what the answer is for certain but I would lean towards yes it is required because of the clustered nature.

Which connection port to use on the Canon MP530 printer

I'm not sure if I'm using the correct port on this printer to connect to my computer. There's a port on the back that looks like something other than a perfectly flat edged wide rectangular USB port, but it has the symbols that you see on the end of USB 2.0 cables molded above the port on the printer indicating it's that kind of port. I have another port on the front of the machine that looks like it fits a USB 2.0 cable, being that it has a nice, wide and flat connection area. It has some other kind of weird symbol though that I don't recognize molded above the port. Am I confusing it with something else? When I use a USB 2.0 male A connector cable that I connect one end of to my Mac and the other also with a male A conncector to that port I'm having no luck getting the printer to be seen by my computer even after installing the latest drivers that Canon's website recommends downloading from its' site. I was using the wrong kind of USB cable to connect the printer and the computer. I needed to use a USB type B connector on the printer and a USB type A connector on the printer. My problem is now solved, although I still don't know what the other port is for that I was connecting my USB type A connector to. There's no mention of it on Canon's website or the papers and manuals that came with the printer. That's lousy manual building on Canon's part for this model.

Yes you can. However, it is better to use one person's account most of the time for purchases in the Mac App Store and iTunes since you can share purchases, such as songs, among various devices using the SAME account. You Cannot share purchases among different accounts, though. So make one of your accounts the main "purchasing" account so you can share purchases.

Explaination: I am faced with a certain situation. I feel that I should develop reports in Character Mode. But I am not sure about this.
I invite all readers to contribute on the subject matter. Once I receive responses, I will explain my specific situation as writing it now may narrow the list of such situations.
Also I would like to know what problems we face when developing reports in Character Mode. I was developing my first Character Mode report and I faced layering problems. So I would like to know more such precautions.

Hi Muhammad,
There's any number of cases for using character mode Reports. However, they all typically come down to what your doing with the output of the report.
Basically, you need character mode reports whenever the Report output needs to be read by some sort of Ascii file reader. This could be notepad, VI, MSVC, dot matrix or fixed character set printers, ...
A less common case is where you just want to get at the data within the report. You're just using the ascii output as a data dump to pass through to another program/utility. (This is really just a specialised case of the previous one).
There are some cases where character mode output may be one of several choices. Eg: the body of an email message which could be HTML or plain text.

Apps can only be updated using the same Apple ID and password they were originally purchased with.

A basic MBA will be more than adequate. Take into consideration that storage may be a long term issue unless you are not averse to traveling with an external HDD.

GPO - Restricts the UI languages Windows should use for the selected user - not applying correctly on RDS 2012 R2

Hi All,
we have a Citrix XenApp 7.5 Farm with Windows Server 2012 R2 Servers and multiple (english, german, italian, spanish, french...) languages installed.
I've created a GPO with settings 'Restricts the UI languages Windows should use for the selected user' to for example 'German'.
Now when a user logs on to the server, the UI language is in german, but when i open Control Panel\Language: There is still English (United States) with Keyboard Layout: US, German.
It seems that the GPO is not changing all settings correctly to german.
Does anybody know what could be wrong?

Based on the description, the policy setting should have been applied successfully. Here, did we logged onto the server via remote desktop services? If yes, what's the keyboard layout on the computer we used to RDP to the server? Before going further,
I assume that this can be caused by Auto detect Remote Keyboard layout feature introduced since Windows Server 2008.

I have a requirement here in which i want to see that which data source is used by the composites deployed on SOA.
I dont have the code.
Is there any quick way to do it(from console or backend without downloading the code)

You can export the jar file from the EM console.
1) Login to EM console
2) Right click on the composite and select Export and With default options click on Export button
Find the data source name from the exported code.
Mark the posting appropriately as "helpful" or "correct answer", if your issue is solved.
