Which font should I select in the /arch/setup?
I am totally new to arch.
I have downloaded and burned the 0.7.2 iso and wanted to install it on my IBM Thinkpad T40: 1.5GHz Pentium M + ATi Radeon Mobility 7500 (the R100 GPU ).
I have read the Installation Guide a number of times but it doesn't help me with my problem.
I have searched this forum and could not find the answer either.
My problem is this:
When I run the /arch/setup and come to the step as to selecting your font, the ones I have tried don't seem to work. Either I get no font showing whatsoever or I get all sorts of ugly background characters appearing. I've tried it about 7 times but each time, of course, I have to retstart the computer which is tiresome. I was hoping someone could help me out by recommending a font that I should try.

I want to buy iPad mini wifi + cellular for indian freind. Which Carrier should i select while buying it online?
As far as i know service provider is not a constraint for i pad as ipads are always unlocked. Also, do we need to get nano sim from US or India srvice provider will have it? i am asking this as in Singapore iPads are offering 3 free nano sim cards.There is no CDMA in Europe or UK if that influences you, only GSM
All the UK Carriers offer Data nano sims ,on contract or PAYG
and this will help on 4G

I just connected my wife's Mac Mini running OS 10.6.8 to an IG 32' monitor. What resolution should I select from the menu in order to provide maximum screen appearance? My wife has AMD and a visual acuity of 20/400 with central scotonata.
In System Preferences:Displays you have an option to show
Displays Prefs in the title bar above the screen - where she can
iteratively adjust to her liking. Higher screen resolutions, ironically,
result in smaller characters so adjust to suit. Below, Displays is
4th from L.

For the ISR G1, it was supported from 12.4(24)T, so I would assume that your ISR G2 has this feature if you are running 15.x.
EDIT: The Feature-navigator says that it's supported starting with 15.1(2)T. -
Missing font - Helvetica not included in the CS6 setup
Hi,
Cannot see that Helvetica is included in the CS6 setup I bought. Why is that so? It's a most common font.
Best regards
CeciliaHelvetica does not and has never come with Photoshop.
Photoshop uses the operating system fonts. Windows does not have Helvetica, Mac OSX does. Therefore it will show up in the Mac version of Photoshop.
You have to purchase it separately and install it yourself in Windows or get a Mac.

Which value should I send for the field "business partner type " in DTW
I need your help. I am trying to create a new business partner using DTW. Please let me know wich possible values should I send to DTW for the field "Business Partner Type" (this label appears on sap-bo when enteringa new BP).
The database field name is OCRD.cmpprivate, so I tried to find the related field in the input file and I found "CompanyPrivate" is this the corresponding field for the "business partner type"?
I have been trying with the following values but the DTW fails with the error "invalid item name in enum BoCardCompanyTypes":
tYES
tNO
cCompany
cPerson
I
C
cI
cC
Thank you for your help
Jorge ManzoPlease note: I use DTW Version 88.1.7; API Version 8.81.319
To set CmpPrivate (it is exactly BoCardCompanyTypes) use following:
cCompany - Card represent a company.
cPrivate - Card represent a private person.
To set CardType see Godon's replay.
A lot of info you can find in "SAP Business One SDK - Help Center" docs.

Which Linksys hardwares would give me the same setup as Starbucks or Panera Bread WiFi?
Hi all,
I'm looking for a piece of Linksys hardware for my small 24 units apartments. I want to have the same control and capability as Starbucks Or Panera Bread wireless. When I got to Starbucks or Panera Bread and connect to their wireless...it would first connect to their website and I have to click on "agree" to their terms and condition before I can go on to access other websites. Also, I would like to setup an option where the user must obtain the code from frontdesk in order for them to access the website.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks,
Henrythis kind of an authentication is not possible with the linksys SOHO products...it could be possible with the enterprise level products..
however, you can set up a wireless security on the wireless access point and this requires every user to enter the passcode to connect to the network...here , one problem could be that once connected to the network , the password will be saved on the user's computer...they need not enter the password again...
the set up you can have is like
modem -> a wired router -> WAP54GPE
the next WAP54GPE will be configured in wireless repeater mode...the number of WAPs will depend on the kinda range you want...the range of a WAP54GPE is around 300 fts.... -

The calendar year cloumn has 5 boxes flaged on K0 to K5 what does that mean ?
Can i make the changes staright away in production?
After making the changes do i have to reload the data to get right periods for the transaction data?
Thanks in advancefiscal year variants are usually defined on the source system. We transfer the global settings from the source system to BI for currencies, fiscalyear variants, UOM, factory calender. Go to source system, right click on ur source system - transfer global settings - fiscalyear variants - Mode - update tables.

Planning on selling 1 of the 10.5.6 DVDs, which one should I keep?
I have 2 Mac OS X 10.5.6 DVDs, the gray retail one that came with my computer and one I had bought separately with the spacey background. Which one should I keep? And when Snow Leopard comes should I sell the remaining OS X DVD or keep it in case there are computer problems and I need to reinstall?

The one which you got with the computer.
And when Snow Leopard comes should I sell the remaining OS X DVD
No. That DVD isn't allowed to be sold separately from the computer it came with and cannot be used to install the OS on a different Mac model.

Adhoc Query : Error during selection; check the selection conditions
Hi
We have a report set-up and which we want to run using our adhoc query report tcode S_PH0_48000513
The report, has a few different selection criteria in it to look at all action IT screen data in the system for ee's in specific personnel areas. There is also a criteria to allow us to paste in specific employee numbers we are interested in. The issue I am facing is that over about 3000 ids, the system automatically returns me a message when I click on the Output button to run the report which states:
Error during selection; check the selection conditions
Message no. PAIS206
I am not sure why this is happening. The selection criteria are fine and the other day I ran the report and I experienced no issues. The report ran successfully. Now though, if I try and paste in all the ids I am interested in (about 8000) I get this message straightaway.
Can anything be done to overcome this issue?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
NicolaHi
The message in full is:
Error during selection; check the selection conditions
Message no. PAIS206
Diagnosis
A runtime error occurred during dynamic selection.
System response
The runtime error will be caught; no short dump will be created. This error should not occur as a rule. However, very large select statements may trigger the runtime error SAPSQL_STMNT_TOO_LARGE or DBIF_RSQL_INVALID_RSQL. There is no way to prevent this happening. In this case, the error can only be caught.
Procedure
Check the selection conditions to see whether the error was caused because the option "Import from text file" included too many objects in the "Multiple selection" dialog. If this is so, you must limit the number of individual values. -
I have some HDV video files imported through iMovie to .MOV files with Apple Intermediate Codec.
I need to convert these to Windows compatible video files of the highest possible ( least loss) quality. What export options in Final Cut Pro or in Quicktime Pro should I select? The codex in the converted files must not be Apple Intermediate Codec, for which there is no Windows version.Okay, I read the whole Flip4Mac website.
Flip4Mac is an application for Apple computers.
Perhaps my question was unclear. When I posed it I was thinking of asking somebody with an Apple shop to do the conversion for me, and wanted advice on settings for his QUicktime Pro /Final Cut Pro that would produce the highest quality Windows -compatible files.
The Windows version of Quicktime will not play Quicktime files with Apple Intermediate Codec. You get black screen video, although the audio does come through.
So here's what I need: I need a Windows application that will transcode Quicktime files in Apple Intermediate Codec, with no loss or very little loss, to WIndows-compatible files. All Windows, all the time. Thank you. -

10.09.12 12:21 153Thank youThis solution works perfectly when the accumulated value has its low and its high on the same day. But I found out :( , that there is also data, which has its low yesterday and its high today. For a better understandig of the case, there is a machine, wich is working over 3 Shifts with irregular start and end time. For example Shift1 cann start at 5:50 or at 7:15. The accumulated value of the worked time is accumuated for each shift extra. This solution works for the shift 1 (approximate between 06:00-14:00) and for the shift 2(approximate between 14:00-22:00), because there is the low and the high of the accumulated value on the same day. This solution does not work for the shif 3(approximate between 22:00-06:00), because the high of the accumulated value is or can be the next day.
So the thread title should be: "Select just the values between min and max of an accumulated value over the same day(today) or over two successive days (yesterday and today)

Hello Experts,
I created a ALV grid using custom container in a screen . Now i want do the follwing:
1. i want that, the <b>first line must be selected before the display of ALV.</b>
2. I have selection buttons . But i dont want the multiselect button and the

Could any one please help me regarding the above?
Thanks & Regards
Sudhansucan u pls explain in more details with an example?
I am telling u the scenario.
1. i have a screen(Modal dialog Box) containing ALV grid with selection buttons for each row (top part) and a subscreen(second part).
Now when i click on a selection button, it will display the corresponding values in the subscreen.
When this screen will display for the first time , then first row of the ALV grid should be selected and the corresponding values should be displayed in the subscreen.
i wrote the following code in the PAI. But when i select a record its not triggering the PAI.
DATA:
gi_index_rows TYPE lvc_t_row, " Internal table for indexes of selected rows
g_selected_row LIKE lvc_s_row, " Information about 1 row
l_lines TYPE i.
CLEAR g_wa_vdmeko.
*get selected row
CALL METHOD g_alv_grid->get_selected_rows
IMPORTING
et_index_rows = gi_index_rows.
DESCRIBE TABLE gi_index_rows LINES l_lines.
LOOP AT gi_index_rows INTO g_selected_row.
READ TABLE g_int_vdmeko INDEX g_selected_row-index INTO g_wa_vdmeko.
SELECT SINGLE *
FROM vdmepov
WHERE bukrs = g_wa_vdmeko-bukrs AND
styp = g_wa_vdmeko-styp AND
sbez = g_wa_vdmeko-sbez AND
svym = g_wa_vdmeko-svym AND
svnr = g_wa_vdmeko-svnr.
ENDLOOP.
I am displayinng the ALV using method "set_alv_for_first_display".
Please help if u have any idea..................
Thanks

BOM selection at the time of confirmtion
Dear Experts,
My client has requirement that BOM should be selected at the time of confirmation if there are multiple BOM's are available for the same material.Is it possible ??.
Edited by: manjit_pune on Mar 7, 2012 10:07 AMHello Manjit,
As a SAP fucntion, BOM should be selected/exploded at the time of MRP so that SAP would be in position to plan the components accordingly. What the reason or benefit of selecting relevant BOM at the time of confirmation ??
In any case, this function is not possible in standard SAP.
