Which Function/ BAPI can CREATE an ASCII-File ?

Hello all there,
i need a Function or Bapi to create an new ASCII-File.
But there ist one Problem!!!
The creation of this ASCII-File must be generated in the background, of this Programm.
I have an Function (CL_GUI_FRONTEND_SERVICES=>FILE_SAVE_DIALOG) that createt a ASCII-File but it should not open a Menu to save it.
The creation of the ASCII-File must be saved automatic in the background without an Menu to klick with the mouse.

use FM 'GUI_DOWNLOAD' with FILE_TYPE = 'ASC'.
Pass the path in the FM where you wish to download the file.

(a) compile your procedure and
(b) invoke it as well
Yes, the compiled procedure can invoke other stored procedures or functions.
To create the ASCII file, you could:
(a) use UTL_FILE supplied package in your procedure; this will create the ASCII file on the Oracle server, or
(b) have DBMS_OUTPUT.PUT_LINE calls in your procedure. When invoked from SQL*Plus, this will print out the lines on the SQL*Plus interface and you could spool it to a file on your client filesystem.

I need a BAPI or function that can create a PO without the reference to a purchase requisition. We are creating "direct POs" (with no reference to PR) manually. And we have a large amount of documents to create. I can't figure out if BAPI_PO_CREATE and BAPI_PO_CREATE1 can help us by doing this, because I've understood this BAPIs creates POs only with the reference to a purchase requisition.

My client doesn't want purchase requisitions to be created from the PM orders. Instead he asked us to create the purchase workflow by generating direct purchase orders from the PM orders, basically taking the information from the purchase agreement within the order's tasks. Maybe you don't understand a bit what I'm saying, but let me get this straight: we can't use LSMW because data doesn't come from a legacy.

...after all, and like you've said, we're gonna use BAPI_PO_CREATE1 for creating the POs. Today I finally realized that, purchase requisitions aren't mandatory for the bapi to perform the process. If something goes wrong, I'll let you know.

If you use SQL Server Reporting Services for reporting, you can use Visakh’s suggestion to create a script file which calls Reporting Services Web Service to render a report in CSV format and save a batch file to the destination folder, and then create a
batch file to run the rs.exe utility which can executes the .rss script file. For more information, please see:

rs Utility (rs.exe) (SSRS)
If you use other reporting tools, it depends on the reporting functionality and this requirement may be not achieved.

Let us assume you have all the data from the jsp form in an java bean object..
Now you want a xml file. This can be acheived in 2 ways
1. Write it into a file using java.io classes. Say you have a class with name
write("<name>"+obj.getName+</name>);
bingo you have a flat file with the xml
2. Use data binding to do the trick
will recommend JiBx and Castor for the 2nd option

I have a employee number(Chief of a organizational unit A). Do you know which function module can get all the direct and indirect subordinate of this chief? Indirect subordinate means that this chief can also view the Organizational unit(for example, Org. unit B) that under Org. Unit A. Further more, this chief can also view all the employees in other org unit that under Org. Unit B. If there is no such function module, do anyone of you have the example coding to get it? Issue trying to use a Sharepoint document library as a network drive on which a software can create and delete content

Hi,
With my colleagues we are using a dictation/transcription software which automatically creates files, moves them from folders to folders and deletes them. Until now, all this was done on a network drive, but the drive will soon be unavailable and
we will eventually have to use a SharePoint document library instead, and I am currently testing this option.
I have created a document library (with no versioning and no check out required) and I mapped it as a drive in Windows Explorer to link the SharePoint folders with the dictation software. Everything seems to work fine except
for one thing: when the dictation software tries to move files from one folder to another, the files are pasted in the destination folder but not deleted from the original folder and an error message pops up saying "delete operation has failed".
So the softaware is able to automatically create new content in the document library but is unable to automatically delete (I can however delete manually through the software interface).
Any idea on what is causing this issue and how to solve it?

According to your description, my understanding is that the documents cannot be deleted in the original folder when using the software with SharePoint library.
I recommend to verify the things below:
Which credential did you use to map the document library as network drive?
If the credential was windows logon, then I recommend to check if the documents can be deleted in the network drive which was connected to SharePoint library directly.
If the documents can be deleted in the network drive which was connected to SharePoint library, then the issue may be due to the compatibility problem between the software and WebDAV. Then you need to check the issue using third-party software provider.
