Which libraries depend on the JNI?
Wondering if any1 knew where i could find some list of libraries which depend on the JNI and hence vwould not be fully portable across JVM's.
I am trying to distinguish between fully portable libraries (e.g. pure java code) and libraries which would need some re-write to operate on different JVM's.
Or does anyone know HOW i mite find this out?

Right, so then on to my real question
So if any machine with a JVM should run any java code,
why then do some of the JSR's (on jcp.org) ask for
api's to be migrated from J2SE to J2ME, is this just a
request for the class files for these packages to be
slimmed down and re-packaged?One reason is because only so much can fit on the targets. And the more there is the more room is needed. That is true whether it needs native libraries or not.
Another reason could be that the functionality simply does not exist.

I'm new to LiveCycle and JavaScript and I was hoping someone could help me with this form I am creating.
This is what I want it to do:
I have a dropdown list named 'Area' which drops down to 3 options. Once the form filler selects an area, they will then select an option from dropdown list 2 which is named 'Brand' (there is up to 5 options), I then I want dropdown list 3 named 'Address" to have all of the address of the area and brand selected.

Pass the GUID (CRMD_ORDERADM_H) to Function Module CRM_ORDER_READ to retrieve the required values.

How can I stop Firefox from incessantly interrupting my work by trying to install an update that is incompatible with the Google toolbar which I depend on. If you look to the right you will see a link for 'more system details' that is where such troubleshooting information appears, and it can sometime be helpful.
I am using firefox on a couple of old XPs without problems. Obviously crashing is not expected behaviour, but please try to think of firefox as two separate parts the basic browser and all the additional software as addons and plugins.
It may be rather unrewarding trying to track down the cause of a crash using crash information, the best way forward is probably to start using it in[[safe mode]] and with no plugins installed.

If firefox is recommended by your university, why not try it out on one of their computers, presumably it is installed on the university computers available in the library etc, that should at least convince you that it does work.
I hope the problem is not malware, but if it is all the personal computers you try, a possibility that can not be discounted is that it is some form of malware affecting those computers.
Have you tried Internet Explorer, that will be installed on your XP by default I imagine, does that work ? -
Used to be able to pick out which songs in iTunes in my computer were not on a 2nd computer on homeshare in iTunes 10. Now with V11, cant find the button that compares two libraries and finds the songs that are different. Anyone know how to do this now?

The plan has multiple MIC's all with limits. First five MIC's are independent and rest three are having their limits dependent on the results of a MIC eg with a formula. say 0.8X lower limit and 1.1X upper limit of a MIC., where X is the result of the fifth MIC. Similarly the 7th and the 8th MIC's are having limits dependent on the same MIC with different formula.
This kind of scenerio may be two times in an inspection Plan.

SAP allows you to create these FM's and then config them into the system. You would then selection the custom valuation in a sample procedure that you would create for each of these characteristics. The valuation for the characteristic would then be carried out according to your custom FM. No spec would be displayed in the inspection lot however. But he valuation should be possible.

How can you determine at runtime which libraries are attached?

I am wondering if there is a way to determine which libraries are currently attached to a form at runtime. My application is in forms 10g.
I am hoping to get the full path so that it is possible to show this in an information type display. I am ideally looking for a solution that works on both Unix and Windows so that it can be used in development and production

WayneI am curious, why you want to know which library is attached and the full path??? You cannot change it at runtime!!
I don't think that's possible at runtime by using Generic Forms built-ins, But as always with Oracle, you can have several solutions.
One solution is to initialize global variables/parameters in PRE-FORM and later you can read them and see the values and do whatever you want accordingly.
When using Global variables, you can test for their DEFAULT_VALUE to check whether the variable exists or not, this will prevent getting an error if the variable hasn't been initialized yet.

Shading part of a JTable Cell dependent upon the value of the cell

Was hoping some one woudl be able to provide some help with this. I'm trying to create a renderer that will "shade" part of a JTable cell's background depending upon the value in the cell as a percentage (E.g. if the cell contains 0.25 then a quarter of the cell background will be shaded)
What I've got so far is a renderer which will draw a rectangle whose width is the relevant percentage of the cell's width. (i.e. the width of the column) based on something similar I found in the forum but the part I'm struggling with is getting it to draw this rectangle in any cell other than the first cell. I've tried using .getCellRect(...) to get the x and y position of the cell to draw the rectangle but I still can't make it work.
The code for my renderer as it stands is:

I have a few libraries stored externally, that I don't acceess much as they have older images, and my main current library. I was wondering whether, with the new management scheme, it would recognize the external libraries as source images, linked to my main library, so that when I'm connected to the external drive, they appear in my main library, fully editable, but when the external is offline, they appear as linked offline previews.
In other words, will the other libraries be suitable as "other" source folders?

I don't know if it would quite work like that, but you could import all the projects from those other libraries, then use the new tools to move the master files back to those external drives. Then you would essentially have what you were looking for, which is one central library with some master images held offline in case you needed them later. -

I am quite new to the Labview FPGA module.
I am currently working on an application where i have to generate a pwm to control the ON time duration . The pwm ON time depends on the frequency of an input signal.I want to retrieve the ON time value from a lookup table which contain the duty cycle values for the pwm at different frequencies of the input.This input also has to work as a trigger. The input is pulsed and the trigger has to generate the pwm at every rising edge. I am using a PCI 7831R- RIO series. I am urgently in need of some help and i have hardly a couple of weeks before i meet the deadline.
I am trying hard to learn the basics from the shipping examples but not able to quite make my vi work.
Kindly lend a helping hand and i would be very grateful to anybody who can help. Thanks a lot in advance.

How to execute a procedure depending on the result of a query?
Hello, I'm new in ODI.
I want to execute a procedure depending on the result of a query Oracle table.
We have a Oracle Table whit a column that contains two possibles values.
I want read the table, row by row, and depending on this value, execute a Procedure or execute another.
How can i do?what you need to do is
1. create a variable which "new_var2" which has the count of the number of rows you want to process. must be data type numeric.
2. copy "new_var2" to the package screen.
3. duplicate the "new_var2" on the package screen and evaluate the variable and test for "> 0" zero, call it "new_var2_E"
3. create a new odi variable "new_var1" with a refresh of "select field1 fom (select field1,rownum as rownumber from tablex) where rownumber = #new_var2" in the relevant schema and technology.
4. copy "new_var1" into your package (some where in the flow)
5. right click the "new_var1" variable in you package screen and you should get the option duplicate step (click on that)
6. select the the duplicate "new_var1" on the package screen and correct the the name to something meaning full to you "new_var1_E", also change the "type" to "evaluate variable" then you should see a "value" box. enter one of the values you want to test in the box (remember do not put in quotes ' )
7. now back on the package screen join the "new_var1" to the "new_var1_E" with an OK line
8 you now join "new_var2" to "new_var2_E" with OK
9 you join "new_var2_E" to "new_var1"
10. you then join the "new_var1_E" with an OK or a KO line to the relevant procedure.
12. you need to duplicate "new_var2" in the package screen one more time this time and call it "new_var2_D" set the type to evaluate and then select the increment of -1
13. the relevant procedure to "new_var2_D" with an OK
14. join the "new_var2_D" to the "new_var2_E" with an OK
15. this should close off the loop now the exit point is "new_var2_E" with a KO line to the next part of your process....
Basically you should end up with a loop on new_var2 decementing, and it is used to get a specific next record row from your table.

To begin with, in file-explorer (.\system32\explorer.exe) normally, the new ribbon user interface in Win 8.1 does indeed display appropriate buttons depending on the currently displayed folder within the explorer.exe window.
But when one re-parents the explorer window handle to any window handle other than 0000 (desktop's window handle), then the UIRibbon fails to do so.
You might ask 'Who does that ?' and I would say no-one usually, however I use BrightExplorer which
is a great little app that gives me a tabbed file-explorer experience.
Now, this app works fine since Windows 7, but with Windows 8 the file explorer introduced the new UIRibbon in its UI. It's that new UIRibbon that gets confused by what I think may be be caused by the re-parenting that BrightExplorer does
to pull a file explorer session into its tabbed control.
This phenomenon relates to Windows 8 + and is observed only by doing the following steps:
Download BrightExplorer from BrightNewWorlds.com by going here: BrightExplorer,
In the address bar go to This PC,
then go to any other folder and note that the UIRibbon is not keeping track of the changing folder selections.
Does anyone out there feel that they can do something about this, or have advise?

ALV GRID WITH SUMMATORIES DEPEND OF THE SELECTION
Hi Experts.
I have a form, in which depend of the selection, I show to user a fieldcatalog with the data (query) that the user want to see in that moment ...
The problem is that the user want to see one field (amount, sum total (money) ...etc) with summatories, group by date, person...or other depend of the selection he has done in the select dynpro.
How can I do it when I show the ALV??... The user don't want to use the option to make a lot of select dispositions in the ALV..., he want to see the disposition of the data depend the selection he do in the select dynpro.
I see when I create the fieldcatalog to the ALV GRID, there is a field ... do_sum, I have marked it, in the field which I want to do a summatory but don't do anything in the ALV when display.... and don't find how indicate in the fieldcatalog the field which I wan't group by...
Other options, that I have thought it's to make a lot of dispositions in ALV, and when display de ALV try to get the disposition that I want ... but I haven't did it.

I managed to activate the functions with the following code:

LOOP AT lo_funcs INTO lo_func.
lo_func-r_function->set_enable( value = 'X' ).
lo_func-r_function->set_visible( value = 'X' ).
ENDLOOP.

Can we hide column in a query depending upon the variable selected
Hi all,
let us say my report have 10 column.
now i am giving user option to select the values (let us say 'a' or 'b')
columns must be displayed depending upon the value selected by user ..
for example if user has selected 'a' then first five columns should be displayed..and if user has selected 'b' last five column should be displayed..(it will be OK even if we can hide the columns depending upon the selection )

Create an infoobject, manually enter the values "keyfig1" and "keyfig2".
Include this infoobject in the filters and restrict it using a "ready for input" variable.
Now create two formula variables.
Write a customer exit such that when you select "keyfig1", first formula variable's value should be set to 1 and other one's to 0.
Then in the query create two calculated key figures, multiply both with the formula variable. Also supress column (all active value == 0).
Then it will show the key figure which you have selected.
