My first approach will e the testing objectives to determine what module will be appropriate. Again, all GRC modules help complement each other understanding the products and how they can be leverage will address all your questions in detail.

Yes. AIS is purely in SAP users and authorizations, and PC can be used at different levels.
Can we use the GRC Process Controls for Scheduling regular Audits, inaddition to the Internal Control Assessments?
The data from the PC is used in the ICAs. So PC itself can't/may not provide all the information that is required by the auditors.

Agent Assignment in Process Controlled workflows

1. For testing one-level approval, I activated the one-step apparoval shopping cart BC set. while creating the shopping cart it is showing the manager id. But when manager logs in, there is no workitems, Also if I check from workflow log I cannot see any id, but from swii5, I can see the workitem in manager id...Is there any config I am missing. I have checked the Determine agnets from spro, but I have not done anything there.
2. If I activate one step approval today, can I activate N-step approval tomarrow
3. Is there any specifi guide which can help me in doing the process controlled worklows configuration step by step.

I can see in the system configuration of system administration from portal that the webflow is configured and the status is registered.
Let me explain you the scenario once again.
User A is requestor and created SC. User B is manager. From the workflow log it is showing in READY status but "No agents found". But when I goto manager inbox from swi5, I can see the workitem available in his inbox but manager cannot see either from portal nor swbp inbox.
I also checked the approval workflow 40000016 and step is 293..Here it is rule with function module checking for agents.
Am I missing any configuration from SPRO ?
Do I need to do anything in "Determine agents" in SPRO ?

@Denis: You make some very good points here which I agree to - yet there are some specialities of TMG that have to be taken into account:
In our corporation TMG has filled other gaps than that of a traditional proxy only (we have separate content filter systems for regular web and e-mail traffic):
1. A useful helper to cope with the "stubborn" apps. Although .NET is finally improving things a bit yet still there are so many little and bigger developer studios with specialized LOB applications that just aren't able to properly cope with an
NTLM proxy. And even in .NET it is not a given that people use the DefaultNetworkCredentials of the CredentialCache. I strongly believe in role-based concepts and sticking permissions to users, not IPs and have people and part-time workers moving
around; so the TMG Client enables those problematic applications to still get online even as they do not support NTLM proxy servers.
2. Publishing. TMG has become the enabler of a kind of enterprise portal with several web sites/applications published for employees and specific partners. This includes EAS, RDWeb, OWA and several IIS sites. I should also mention that most of them are "full-featured"
- using Kerberos Constrained Delegation to cope eg. with double hop problems to the SQL backends and to ensure that the best security protocol in use. Exchange for example is mapped to different hostnames to enable testing/transitioning from account-based
EAS to certificate-based EAS.
3. The VPN functionality (using PEAP) has solved many remote access needs for certain managers and partners where stuff like our Cisco VPN Client just was to clumsy and maintenance-intensive on uncontrolled/unknown PCs. It's a pity what happened to PPP and
that people don't differentiate between PAP/CHAP and PEAP/EAP-TLS yet I agree, something has to be done here in the near future.
Point 3 is quite obvious and I have no doubt that almost any NGFW or whatever product can solve this. What we regrettably lose is a comfort/"out-of-the-box" experience - VPN clients can be a challenge of their own, especially when multiple products
reside on the same machine (as with partners that have to support multiple customers with different VPN systems). And the clients need to be NAT-safe (UDP encapsulated or HTTPS).
But I'm a bit doubtful/hesitant about 1 and 2:
Point 1 needs some kind of client software provided by the NGFW manufacturer to force WinSOCK API calls over the NGFW proxy instead of trying to go directly. It seems Barracuda has something like this but I haven't tested it yet/haven't checked to what degree.
This can certainly be solved in other but clumsy and maintenance-intensive ways like establishing a proxy service on a different port with only Basic Auth and requiring to configure all of these LOB apps manually.
Point 2 is probably the most difficult to solve. I'm not sure which of the manufactures provide proper KCD support, multiple listeners with different auth schemes for different scenarios and mapping single hosts in different ways. And if such a product exists
can we afford it on our tight budget?
We are currently in progress migrating our Cisco PIX to Barracuda NG but still struggle with our partner to get the simple stuff (firewall rules) right so it remains to be seen what Barracuda can do for us on the TMG side. It may take some months or a year
but I could let you know how we fared then.
It just makes me a little bit nervous when people like KEMP have a TMG deprecation webcast about 2 months ago yet can't show their security module with Kerberos support which was at that time "under development" :-) Technical realities and requirements

Sizing Product Module

I've created a page in DW with a DIV to insert a product module. I upload the page to BC and insert the {module,product,mypart,mypart}. How can I size the product module to fit within my DIV? Also, can I insert product modules in DW locally and, if so, which is best process? Basic stuff, but I'm just getting started and struggling.

Hi Liam. Thanks for your reply. All of this is completly new to me so I'm struggling with it. We sell to the fire service and our products have different degrees of explanation depending on the item. I built the existing site with Yahoo site builder years ago and am trying to get away from them and go to the Adobe products. The current web site layout has been very good for us and I'm trying to replicate it with some changes. I don't know how to get to the css for the product modules to modify them. I did pick up a good bit today from different help videos and am going to try something a little different tonight. I know how to affect what gets displayed in each module, so I'm going to try posting my pictures and descriptions on a page for each product and strip everyting from the product_module except for the price and order qty and plae those in a DIV adjacent to the descrition DIV. I know this is an off the wall way to do it but I don't know if I will ever learn enough BC and DW to ro it the "right" way. This is our existing site I'm trying to rebuild with DW & BC. Generate file in same directory as current running process

Hi all:
I basically have a batch file in a particular directory that runs a Java program. Within the program, I am doing this:
//generate contact server file

bw.close();Now, what I would expect is that it would be generated in the same directory as the process that is running. However, when I do a search, it ends up in C:\Documents and Settings\Leonard\My Recent Documents.
How can I specify to generate it in the same directory as the current running process?

Jesus man, thank you so much. Just like you suggested, when I actually used the batch file itself instead of the shortcut, everything worked out fine.
So, any suggestions on how to get it to generate in the same directory as the target of the shortcut, not the shortcut itself?

Specific PP report for current running process in plant.

Hello Experts.
I have very RAW information to address this problem, which is described below.
My Client requirement :
They have various process running in the production plant.
They want to see on one screen, how many total process running in the plant along with production order number and how much process has been completed (in %) vs Time (Date or Hours). (something like giant chart ou Production order number with completion status in % vs Time)
According to my knowledge, SAP doesn't provide this kind of plan board kind of solution.
Again I understand this information is very raw, so if its possible then Please let me know, how can we see this kind of report on one screen,
If any kind of report is available, which full fill this information than Please provide me information,

Yes you are right, you can not achive this in standard SAP. I think you have to develop customise report for that. But first i suggest you just go through COOIS report available in the system. In this report there are too many options available, you can try out any as per your requirement.

How to get Application name of a current running process in LiveCycle??

I want to get the Application name of current running process in LiveCycle as a output value.
I have 3 applictions, the 3 applications are calling same SubProcess, so I want get the name of the application from which the sub process has been called.
I want to retrieve the Application name and asssign this value to a output variable.
I have searched for the solution I found a method getApplicationName() but inorder to get the current running process's Application Name this might not be useful..
So suggest the way to resolve this..

Use an input/output string variable in the subprocess and set its value in each calling process as respective Application name.

How do I update a folder of DNGs to the new 2010 (Current) Raw Process?

Is there an efficient method to update an entire folder of DNG images to the newer RAW process in Camera Raw 6.1 - to "2010 (Current)"?
And as an added bonus, it would also be great to simultaneously update the Camera Profile - to "Adobe Standard".
I have lots of folders of DNGs that were processed in ACR 5.7 or Lightroom 2.7, and so they were processed in the older, 2003, process version.
I see that when I update a single DNG in Lightroom 3's Develop Module that I am asked if I want to update all of the photos shown in the Filmstrip at the bottom of the window. This is very convenient!
My father does not yet have Lightroom 3, but does have Photoshop CS5 and ACR 6.1 installed and he wants an efficient method to do the same using those tools. We found that if we open the folder in Bridge, select all the DNG images, open the multiple images in Camera Raw, click on the "Select All" button in the upper left corner of the window, that we can then go to the Camera Calibration panel and make these two changes to all of the images simultaneously.
It seems like there should be some method of doing this from within Bridge. When we go to Edit -> Develop Settings -> Copy Camera Raw Settings and then select all of the other DNGs in the folder and go to Edit -> Develop Settings -> Paste Camera Raw Settings.... and choose only the Camera Calibration checkbox, that only one of the two settings actually gets changed; the Camera Profile setting does - the Process version does not.

You CAN easily make a Camera Raw preset or use Copy/Paste develop settings to change a folder's worth of files to "Adobe Standard"...that's simple. However, currently the Process version is not captured in a preset not copy/paste settings...the only current method is to actually open images inside of Camera Raw, select all and change the Process version to what you want...note, even Sync won't sync the Process version...only select all and then change the setting.
It's hoped in the future this will be somehow addressed...it will require that the subsetting for Process version be a separate item in the Camera Calibration settings.

How to stop a process chain after the current running process

Hi experts,
I try to stop a running process chain, but only at the end of the current process load.
I try to unscheduled process chain : the job of the current process is killed and the process stop
I try to execute the programm rspc_process_finsh : same result.
Actually, I aim at waiting of the current process completion and stop the chain.

If I resume the situation :
- Click on Unschedule process chain stop the current process. We have to change the status of the process in Yellow to Red.
- Go to sm37 to kill the job change the statut in red.
So there is no way to stop the running of a process chain only after the good or bad end of the last runnning process ?
Example :
My chain is running. The process which is running is a DTP loading process. There are 50 packages to load. I decide to click on Unschedule process chain when the package 18 is running.
If I do that, the loading of package 19 will not start right ?
So is there a way to wait that the 50 packages are loaded before that the system stop the chain ?

Crystal Reports version upgrade: Which product?

These are the versions of Crystal Reports we are currently using with Visual Studio 2005 (.Net Framework 2.0):
The reports are designed using the SDK on the developers workstation (outside of Visual Studio).
The reports are generated from the web servers.
Crystal Reports .NET Developer XI Release 2 (build 11.5.0.31327)
(this package includes Crystal Reports XI Release 2 .NET 2005 Server for limited server installs)
We want to upgrade to the latest versions compatible with Visual Studio 2010.
We want to continue generating the reports on the web servers.
Which product should we order that is the equivalent of the version we currently have but compatible with Visual Studio 2010?

Is Crystal Reports 2011 the equivalent of the version we are currently using?

IDOC Error V1 042 - Sales document X is currently being processed by user X

Hello Experts,
I am using the IS-Retail solution of SAP and I am facing a IDOC Error which keeps the IDOC in Status 51. I traced the Error Message and it was V1 042. I am using an Inbound IDOC 'SHP_OBDLV_CREATE_STO01' to create the STOs (Deliveries) using the POs and there is a locking issue of the PO giving error message 'Sales document XXX is currently being processed by user XXX'.
I have created a backgroung job using a program to post the STOs using IDOCs that picks up multiple files from Application Server and processes them one by one. Now when 2 or more files use the same PO then this error occus.
I added a couple of minutes of wait time between the file processing but that did not help.
Please let me know if you have faces same situation and what solution did you apply.

Hopefully you have fixed this by now, but for anyone else who might be looking at this problem. We had this problem and we had the 2 programs check to see if the other was already runing. If so the program would submit itself for a number of minutes, different for both programs, and then exit. We also, and just before this, checked to make sure that there were not 2 of the running programs running and if so to exit. This was necessary because re-scheduling could put a program in conflict with itself. I hope that this may help someone. We used the join V_OP and searched for the program name, not the job name.

How to find out for which product category extended classic is activated? I am working in a test system. In spro settings, Cross aplication basic settings -> activate extended classic is unticked.
I see, the system allows me to create a Extended classic PO against a product category 001.
The product category has same ECC backend system as target and source system.
Is there any BADI implementation?

ECS - flag activated - means Extended classic scenario.
target determine badi - helps to create a PO in desired place.
source system and tatget system logical entry sjhown means
PRODUCT CATEGORY - created in Backend system and follow on docuemnts also created in ECC system - so it could be Classic .
as jay said determine log system badi used for DECOUPLE scenario ( Classic as well as ECS) .
some times unless we study the system in depth, hart to findout what is exact techniacl scenario.
or you can find out what type of POs are in BBP_PD for all PO means ECS.
This SRM tools can be used for many purposes.
some customers uses for Supplier registration only,
some one is using for only Bid invitation and Bid and selecting the vendor only
some one use for all non stock procurment only.
some one use for only free text - ....
taste vary in all business.
you must give more details like what are the Business docuement s are created in SRM
