White space in responsive design around stage when inserting in a Dreamweaver cs6 created webpage.

What is the fix for removing all the excess space around the stage when added to a mobile webpage.  It views correctly on the desktop.  I have created my animation in a responsive format through Edge CC 3.0.  When I insert it into my webpage I get a lot of excess around the object on my table and mobile formats.  It is not the stage because I have purposely made it gray so to see if it was the issue.  I have done some css rules with negative margins but that is not fixing for all media devices.  I feel there should be an easy fix.  Anybody else experiencing this.

Sure:  www.excaliburprintingdfw.com/index.html  I did tweaked with margins and positions.  All looks acceptable on most medias except for on a tablet in landscape view.  I could bandaid with another media query but I don't understand why "animate" has the white space in the first place. I appreciate your input.

  • Why is there unwanted white space added to all .jpg/.png when "inserted" into Dreamweaver CS4?

I have two seperate sites/seperate root folders that I am building right now and every image that I insert into Dreamweaver has an extra white space added to the left of every image. Please help, I must have checked/unchecked something in my preferences. Thank you!
Its not in my CSS or in the HTML coding...from my site:
    <a href="optomized-large/Havana-Night-(66-of-312).jpg" title=""> <img src="optomized-thumb/Havana-Night-(66-of-312).jpg" width="100" height="150" alt="" /> </a>

You do know how wrong it is to make a web page that is nothing but images, right? It's on the list of the 10 worst mistakes you can make for sure.
Anyhow, look at this page -
    http://www.murraytestsite.com/denver.html
I have outlined every image on that page with a 1px red border.  There is no unwanted white space being added to those images.  If there were you would never see the menu button images that close together.  I have also put a 1px green border on the left of the container div.  Note that the images are snug against that green border.

  • Drop shadow on eps shape produces fine line when inserted into InDesign and PDF created.

Hi I am having a few issues with an eps file that I have created. Basically it is a eps file with shapes, a gradient and a drop shadow on the outlined text - created in illustrator.
All looks fine until I take it into Indesign and create a pdf. I then get a line around where the drop shadow is. Zooming in doesn’t make it go away, but it also does not change its size.
I have done some research and tried one fix (have the drop shadow as another object using multiply as the opacity) this did not work.
Anything else talks of spot colours (there are none) or just having view ok on the screen (take off smoothing). But none of these are fixes for when I send this image to my client. I also tried saving as different pdf formats but this also does not work.
The only way I can make it go away is to save the file as an illustrator ai file and use that for pdfs. This would be OK, but other suppliers need to use the file and want eps format.
From what I have read, it seems to be a screen artefact and so theoretically should not appear when printed. But I do not know this for sure and I hesitate to send it to the client as it is.
Has anyone seen this before? And are there any fixes (e.g.: treating the drop shadow differently)?
    Thanking you in advance.
    Cheers
    Nikola

EPS is simply unsuitable when dealing with transparency (which is what your drop shadow is). So you need to work with AI for placing in InDesign. If other suppliers need EPS, then just send them that. Nothing should keep you from exporting another file format.

  • How do I remove the dead "white space" when printing?

I'd like to print something from Safari and would like the image to be completely borderless...but Safari seems to insist on adding padding/margin around the image.
    Example: http://share.shpigford.com/images/print_margin-20090524-161723.png
I've tried scaling the image up but regardless it leaves a white padding all the way around the image.
I've also tried creating a custom paper size and setting the margins to 0.00 but that didn't work.

    Hello Josh:
Short answer - I do not know of any Safari setting. I suppose you could save the page as a PDF file and play with it there.

  • Unwanted white space in Illustrator CS3 EPS

    Hai All
I am facing a problem with the specific image find the attahced.
There is no white space in images (87862fig2_3.eps) if we open it in “Adobe Illustrator CS3”. We have imported the same image in “In Design CS3”, but there was some white space exists in top and bottom of the image. I have opened the same image in the Adobe Illustrator CS3 and "Save As" the same now the white space is not appearing around the image.
Please advice why i am facing this problem
    Thanks in advance
    Mathew

I downloaded the eps and I opened it in AI and there was no problem I saved it as an AI file and placed it in ID and had no problem I then saved it as a eps and had no problem when placing it in ID. This would be on a Mac.
I do however get the same result when I place your eps in ID it goes away when I open in AI and then save it out again from AI as an eps or ai file.
This is with CS 4.but I do not recall ever seeing this problem in CS 3? I attached the files I saved from AI CS 4 see if there still exist the problem when you place these files in ID or AI? I think the problem will not be present.
What are your setting when saving from AI as an eps?

  • Removing white space after Spry Menu Bar...

I having a bit of a problem trying to remove a little white space after my Spry Menu bar, when I set it to 8.6em theres a little white space, when I set the width to 9.7 it goes too far, I changed it to 137 pixels, however in Firefox and IE, it messes up the layout.
Also what do you do if there a different browsers, where some layouts are out of place, do you need to detect the browser with JS?

  • PS to PDF files getting white space after 127char

We've had an issue come up at our shop recently that's stumped us. We are spooling .PS and using Distiller to provide PDF with high quality EPS. We noticed the issue as we have a data element that is read by PDFTRON API and the service is seeing line breaks after 127char.   We open the same PDFs from Distiller in Illustrator and can view some random white space after the 127 char and at times beyond. The white space/line break are not present when copying the data element from the PDF into a text editor (Ultra Edit) and are also not showing in the .PS file???

Hello, sorry my english is not so good. my question concern In Design CS6. When I open a document, it automatically registers under . Is itpossible to remove this function, source of errors ? thank's for your answers

    Hello Peter,
Ok, thank’s a lot, I will post in french.

  • How do i get cloud to work it only opens white space

I open cloud and it is only white space and no programs

iDVD is not for playback of DVDs, but for creating a video DVD from an iMovie file. For playback you use DVD Player or VLC.
iDVD7 works with all versions of OS X.
Why is there no iDVD on my new Mac? How do I get it and how do I install it?

I have a home movie collection on DVD that I am trying to copy to my hard drive. About a quarter of the DVD's come up "blank disc" when inserted.  They were all created using a windows computer. Why is this and is there a way to get the Mac to read them so they can be copies to the Mac hard drive?

Check to see if they work on other DVD players or computers. One thing I have noticed is that many recordable DVD media is, well to put it simply, junk.
I come across quite a few DVD media that contains data, movies, or images, and the media is no longer readable by most DVD players. And this after only a few years of storage.
Anyway if you find a DVD that will play on, use that player to copy the information, you can then create new copies.

  • White space around image when doing Save for Web

Say I draw a simple square in Illustrator CS6 then export it to a PNG using Save for Web. The preview shows 1px thick of white space on the right side. Sometimes it's on 2 sides or more.
No other hidden elements are around the image. Clip to artboard in not clicked.
Why does this happen and how do we get rid of it?

For once I get to answer a post and say somehting good about align to pixel grid.
    Turn it on
Your image will now align to the pixel grid
Turn it off when not doing web work, or will drive you mad.

  • Why is there a black part in the X when I try to delete my app? It's covering up the supposed to be white space around the X button

Help!! Why is there a black part in the X when I try to delete my app? It's covering up the supposed to be white space around the X button

    Try:
    - Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
If still problem, make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store since it appears you have a hardware problem.
Apple Retail Store - Genius Bar
Since they all line up on the left site that could be a hardware problem or maybe a software glitch. I have never seen that problem posterd here before
