Hi ,
I am using tomcat and try to play around the authentication provided by tomcat examples ....
i go here http://localhost:8080/examples/jsp/security/login/login.jsp ,i think most of u guys knows where the hell is this page .....but do i know the user name and password.

This is the file you mentioned about ,and i have tried all those password but none of it able to login.
All *.xml settings are original unzip from apache web site.
PLEASE HELP.

You need to enable the display for metadata in Browser and Viewer.
There are several places how whereyou can turn it on; for example, from the main menu bar "view" menu:
View > Metadata display > Viewer > Show Metadata
View > Metadata display > Browser > Show Metadata
You need to configure the Metadata shown in these overlays.
Use
View > Metadata display > Browser > Customize
Enable all tags you want in the left column of this panel. The "keyword" are enabled in the "Content" section of the left colum.

Urgent ...... jsp help

hi.
i need an urgent help with jsp and the database query.
i have a combo box that has the list of products (this is a query) that i get when a customer logs in to our system with proper authorization. when a person clicks on a product, i need to do a query to get all the brands of that product and form another combo box.
for example:
i have a combobox that has products like monitors, soundscard, harddisk, floppy, etc...
now when i click on say monitor, i have to generate a combobox with the list of monitors like, dell, compaq, viewsonic, etc... on the same page. how do i do that? does this have to be done using javascript using onChange()? if yes, then how do i do it? can we do sql query using javascript?
any help will be highly appreciated.

No, you can't execute SQL queries using Javascript. You can, however, use the onChange to repost the page and load the correct brands into the new ComboBox. While this is not the most elegant solution (it usually results in a quick screen flash to the user), it is fairly easy and effective.
Alternately you could use some extensive Javascript to pull all the potential products and brands ahead of time and populate the combobox, resulting in a slightly more seamless transition. This is slightly harder to accomplish, and the original query will take longer since all the possibilities must be returned from the database.

"I continued to talk to other Apple Mac users on iMovie….Interesting to have found out that their movies were made using iDVD without any known issues as yet…Looking at the results from Apple Support Forum and Youtube, problems appears to be when NOT using iDVD. I and many others can't understand how these many technical problems were overlooked by the programmers of iMovie. One would have thought iMovie problems have been iron out prior to getting rid of iDVD. By the way when I first contacted Apple Support back on 16th Nov, I was told I need to RE-INSTALL my computer…..that I did and in the process my iDVD was removed and never was re-installed.
May I suggest you delegate a junior person or someone string together a project consisting over near 1700 images, approx. 25mins of video footage, titles and including with and without transitions then export the project.
I am still in the dark as to what is being done about this extended non result. I am not sure if is known by the people who is in charge of this iMovie programme. it would be nice to get some sort of feedback. Not sure if I should refer this to a third party to do the testing?? I am sure Apple's competitors would love to make a mockery of this.
There has to be a time frame for this to end, as I and many others can't simply sit here in the dark and wait for someone to come back for a solution, this could be months or years who knows. As you can appreciate I am not the only user anxiously waiting for a solution.
I guess I am in a way representing other worldwide users in pursuing a solution on this matter ASAP. I therefore ask you to please make this a priority if this is at all possible.

Make sure you are using the correct account if you have more than one.
Purchase history won't say who actually logged in because of course it will be a person using your ID and password.
Sign into your Account > Click on your account name > Click on Account > Purchase History

Is your scratch drive over 1 Terabyte? Photoshop 7 was never programmed for those sizes and will return that type of error if you recently changed drives,
Solution is to partition that drive to less than one 1 TB or find a smaller drive.
And update to 7.0.1 Adobe - Photoshop : For Windows : Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1 update

And is there any way to sync all my purchases and accounts to just have one... It is a bit stupid that you dont even get a list of something of what account you may of used, or some kind of hint, so you could log on to the right account. I am really stuck ...

You could repartition your drive to have a different OS X with the older iTunes there, and the newer iTunes on the existing partition. Back up everything beforehand. See Kappy's advice in this thread. Partitioning my Hard Drive

Try:
- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

Hi there,
Firstly, try a hard reset. Hold the sleep/wake and home buttons together until the Apple logo appears.
If this doesn't work, try restoring your device. Put it in recovery mode if iTunes doesn't recognise it, and restore it from there. I have linked to instructions below.

Try this:
Close your iTunes,
Go to command Prompt -
(Win 7/Vista) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES, right mouse click "Command Prompt", choose "Run as Administrator".
(Win XP SP2 n above) - START/ALL PROGRAMS/ACCESSORIES/Command Prompt
In the "Command Prompt" screen, type in
netsh winsock reset
Hit "ENTER" key
Restart your computer.
If you do get a prompt after restart windows to remap LSP, just click NO.
Now launch your iTunes and see if it is working now.
If you are still having these type of problems after trying the winsock reset, refer to this article to identify which software in your system is inserting LSP:

First, there are no Mac viruses in the wild.
recently random sites have had a warning message thing come up that looks like a Norton Anti-virus telling me to run my browser in 'safe' mode or something.
So far it hasn't really done anything malicious, but I'd like to stop it before it does.
The file is an .exe file and unless you are running a Windows partition on your Mac, the Mac OS X cannot open those files. You're OK! If you are running Windows then you would need anti virus software, but it would be installed on the Windows partition, not the Mac OS X.
Nothing to be worry about. They are trying to get your to purchase anti virus software. Norton a/v for a Mac is the worst thing you could install. It's invasive and impossible to UNinstall.
