Wholesale discounts for bulk buy

I am currently setting up a online store for a client and this is what she requires: she wants the regular price to be shown and then the wholesale discount for customers that buy in bulk, when there are purchases made of different quantities from
12   - 120  quantity  ------------- 20% discount
121 - 240  quantity  ------------- 25% discount
241 - 300  quantity  ------------- 35% discount
300+         quantity  ------------- 40% discount
So how do i do this? do I use the discount module or do I have certain clients that are members to be in a secure zone that can view these discounts or can a have a module that adds the discount when a customer buys for different quantities accordingly….

you don't need secure zones. ANd you don't need to identify the customer as a wholesaler.
You'd use the volume discount at a product level. Click enable volume discount, then put your numbers in the Quantity Threshold boxes.
