Why are photoshop icons showing up as color bars in AE6 even though the files are not missing?

I have imported the file numerous times, they actually show up in After Effects. If I render it renders fine, however the icons next to the photoshop files show up as color bars.
Can anyone hep me figure this out?

Thanks for replying... Yes everything works fine but the project panel icons and layer icons appear as color bars. Weird! I'm using CS6 and I'm on a MAC PRO OS X 10.8.5. I attached a screen grab

This is the second day. I tried using a new Apple feed to test. Still not working. I uploaded a 50MB mp3 file. The first time the upload failed. The second time the file showed that it was uploading a 2 GB file. It has been about 20 minutes now and shows "3.5GB of 2.0GB 178% Completed". Now it has started uploading all over again - it is now showing 399.4MB or 2.0 GB - 19% Completed. I dont know if this will keep looping - but I am going to Cancel.
Please let me know what other information do you need from me. Definitely need some help with this!

Unable to see the downloaded files in the downloaded folder even though the files are present.

I am able to download the files and the downloaded files are shown in the downloads section too. However, when I go to the "open containing folder" it is not present there:( I cant seem to find the files at all.

If "Open" and "Open Containing Folder" in the right-click context menu in the Download Manager window are grayed then that means that the file is no longer in the original download location and they may have been removed by Anti-virus or cleanup software.

After my hard drive was replaced I installed Mountain Lion. I was unable to use time machine or migration assistant to access files on my external Omega hard drive even though the files are still there? Is there another way?

My hard drive on my iMac was unrepairable so Apple installed a new one for me. When I reconnected my external Iomega USB hard drive I could "see" the original backup figures and the rows of "windows" and back to the original red rows of dates in time machine, but I could only access the recent installation date of my new OS X Mountain Lion. Migration assistant would not work as well only accessing the recent backups. Is there a way to "unlock" the past data so I can retrieve my documents and photos without resorting to purchasing "rescue" software??

Assuming you are using Bluetooth headphones, do the apps have the option to use Bluetooth?
The app should have an option to select the speaker (or wired earphones) or the Bluetooth headphones.
You can also try:

I use tripit on both my iphone and ipad. However, while tripit will sync with the gmail calendar on my iphone, it will not sync with the gmail calendar on my ipad, even though the setting are all in place, correctly for both.

I use the "Tripit" travel app on both my iPhone and iPad2. While I have no problem getting my Tripit info synced to the Gmail Calendar on my iPhone, I am unable to get Tripit to sync to the Gmail calendar on my iPad, even though the setup information (email address, settings, etc.) are exactly the same. I know that Tripit is installed correctly on the iPad, as I am able to go to that app directly and correctly see all of my info. However, even though I've set up the secondary "Tripit" calendar feed (to Gamil) on the iPad, it's not synchronizing and showing up. Is anyone else having this problem?

All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

Extensions do not work as they should when enabled. They do not show up in their designated places (status bar, next to address bar, right-click menu). This applies to all extensions. I have disabled, re-enabled, and messed with the options. Nothing seems to work. Is there any way to fix this?

You can delete the files extensions.* (extensions.rdf, extensions.cache, extensions.ini, extensions.sqlite) and compatibility.ini in the Firefox [[Profiles|profile folder]] to reset the extensions registry. New files will be created when required.

If you see disabled extensions that are not compatible on the next start in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions" then click the "Find Updates" button to do a compatibility check.

I have photos that are rotated within a photo stream created from a project even though the photo displays properly within the project. How can I get the photos to have the proper rotation within the photo stream?

I have a photo stream that was created from a subset of photo from a rather large Aperature project. Some of the photos show up rotated within the photo stream but are not rotated within the project. Why is this happening and how do I fix the rotation within the photo stream? I do have the latest version of Aperature and have all of the necessary updates applied to my devices used to view the photo stream. The photos do show up rotated within the photo stream segment of Aperature, so I am sure it is not an issue with the output device (iPad and Apple TV). I do know that I cannot edit photos within a photo stream, but no amount of editing within the project allows the photos to be properly rotated within the photo stream. All help would be greatly appreciated.

That will work, but it is the long way 'round.
As Frank noted, Book Albums are just specialized Albums. Albums can show any Image in your Library, regardless of where the Album is located on the Library Inspector, and regardless of which Project contains the Image. You can put your Albums anywhere (in a Folder called "Books" for example). You can put Images from anywhere in your Library in any Album.
The easy way 'round:
- Make a new Book Album
- Select Images you may want to put in your Book. Flag them.
- Select some more. Flag them.
- Go to the "Flagged" container (listed near the top of the Library Inspector), select all, and drag-and-drop them to your Book Album.
- Repeat as needed, or just drag-and-drop directly into the Book Album.
Note that you can remove any Image from any Album (including Books) by selecting and hitting the "{Delete}" key. This _does not remove the Image from the Project that contains it, or from the Library.
Note, too, that once the Images are in your Book Album, you then put them in the Book you are creating for publication. The Book Album contains the superset of Images with which you populate the Book itself. The Book Album also holds the Book.

Luckily I reinstalled the software and the problem just disappeared , and now for all those facing the same problem after reinstalling mountain lion don't update to 10.8.1 , cause only after that update earlier was when the problem started showing up , along with that don't reinstall lion using your recovery on your harddrive it takes 23 hours to install because it downloads the software first and then does all the installation so just download the app for mountain lion from the AppStore first and then make a bootable USB installation disk out of it , I'm sure you'll find a tutorial on google on how to make a recovery USB out of it , as for your data and stuff I moved all my stuff to an external hard drive and then performed a reinstall I recommend you do the same . The steps are simple after making the USB insert it and then reboot when the computer turns itself on press the alt/option key and then their will be a list of options there you will see your mt lion USB boot into it , select disk utility and then your Macintosh HD , WARNING IN THIS STEP YOU WILL ERASE YOUR HARD DRIVE COMPLETELY MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP ALL YOU DATA BEFORE PERFORMING THIS STEP I WON'T BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DATA LOSS DO THIS AT YOUR OWN RISK, so choose your drive , go to the erase tab choose Mac os extended journaled usually the first option from the drop down menu and name it Macintosh HD again click on erase and then after thats done close the utility , now select the option to install mt lions copy from the first menu and then chose your Macintosh HD that we erased eirlier and install, it takes about 20-40 mins depending on your Mac and then viola the problem will disappear , well at least it did for me . The track list on an album is out of order, even though the numbers are correct. How do I fix this?

I bought a couple of songs off an album a few months ago. Last night, I decided to buy the rest of the album, but when I look at my library, the songs are out of order. I've attached a screenshot of the album below.
The first four songs are out of order, I need to know how to put them in order.

I've run into this in the past and the best method I've come across to fix this issue is to highlight all the songs in the album (in this case Disc 1) and press Command + I to edit the metadada. In the edit box, I make sure everything is Disc 1 of 1, and then add a space to the end of the Album title, click ok, then go back and remove the space. Doing this seems to force iTunes to refresh the info displayed, whereas not changing the album's title sometimes leaves things as is.

I tried everything there was. I tried to plug and unplug, I tried to clean it and dry it, and I really didn't want to put my phone in a bag of rice for 12 or 24 hours because I wasn't very patient. I can't download tv shows or rented movies. My iPad indicates that I have 1.3 GB available and even though the downloads are less than that, the movies and tv shows will not download and the message I get says I don't have enough available storage.

Also, I bought additional storage but it shows up in iCloud and does not alleviate the need for additional storage for videos. What can I do to get additional storage to download rented movies and tv shows?

In General you need 2 to 3 times the Space of the Download File size.
If you are getting the Not Enough Space message... you will need to Delete items to create sufficent space

Itunes song downloads are frozen in waiting, even though the songs are playable in my music on my phone.

Recently I have gotten a replacement Iphone 5c, because the first one had a swollen battery. I was having alot of issues syncing my music and in the end, i restored my computer to fix the issue. While my computer was restoring, i manually synced all of my music through icloud on my phone. I come to find out that 4 songs are basically frozen in the waiting stage to download. However when i go through the music IN my music on my phone, I can see the titles, and play them with no issue. The songs in order from top to bottom that are stuck are:
1) Oops!...I Did It Again - Brittany Spears
2) Party On - Blood on the Dance Floor
3) The Shaggy Show - Insane Clown Posse
4) Starstruck - Lady Gaga
There are no album artworks next to any of these titles. and i would like to get rid of these frozen downloads. Because no matter what I have done they won't go away. I have tried holding the home, and power button at the same time, shutting down my phone, and completely closing the itunes app. Nothing is working. Please help! because this is making me dislike apple, and Itunes more and more, because ever since i got this replacement phone, Apple and Itunes have been a nightmare for me to use.

You need to look in the top left corner of your song displayer where it says 'Album by Artist/Year' then click the arrow right beside it and click 'Album by Title' instead.
