Why are Symmetric keys shorter than ASyemmetric keys and provide the same level of security.

Can someone please help me with the following question.
Can someone please give me a brief (if possible) why Symmetric Keys which are much shorter than Asymmetric keys provide a similar level of security (e.g. take as long to crack).
I understand RSA and can to the math with a piece of paper and the Windows advanced calculator (e.g. encrypt and decrypt a sort message using a couple of small prims likes 53 and 59).
I also understand ( to a very basic level) AES e.g. 128bit block cypher (I believe a CBC cypher using an unpredictable IV)
Is there a simple answer if someone says why are Symmetric keys shorted and just as secure or it is just how it is? due to the different math?

Symmetric Key is used for same key for encrypsion & decryption but ASyemmetric key is used two keys (Public & private key) for
encrysion & decryption.
ASyemmetric
1. If Public key is used for encrypsion then private key is used for decryption
2. If private key is is used for encrypsion then public key is used for decryption.
3. It is more secure than Syemmetric

Why can't insert more than two oam file at the same time in DW ?
When I insert two oam at the same time, the page can't show any one!
I found the problem, because I imported the width of two adaptive oam, then they can't show, here is the code, how do you look at me in the case of not cancel width adaptive to continue running

F14, F15, F16 -- why are these keys on my Mac Keyboard ?

Why are these keys added to my Macintosh Keyboard [circa September 2006] if the **** operating system won't allow us to use them ?
What the **** Apple ??My 5+ year old keyboard has the F13 F14 F15 keys sitting all by their lonesome above the help, home, page up block of keys, and I set them to do the three Expose functions, so the system will use them (at least if you have the right hack). All the F keys used to be handier though, back in the OS 9 days, when I assigned them to do all sort of things.

This is a bug report for an NI application engineer. Please file a CAR.
In a LabVIEW 2010 project, create a new installer build and go to the Registry editor.
Enter some keys like the following
Click OK to close the installer wizard.
Now reopen the build specification and go to the Registry editor. The registry editor comes up blank and non functional.
I believe the registry entries are still written when the installer executes, but you cannot edit the registry any further in LabVIEW 2010. This was not an issue in LV 2009. The issue seems to stem from having two keys with the same name at the same level in the registry tree (in this case, the two "Test" keys).Hi sensor_daniel,

why are not all my songs I have purchased in the itunes store and are on my computer not on my phone? Very frustrating I purchaed almosta $100 worth of songs for a trip and they are not on my phone after continuious syncs. Do I have to pay for itunes match for this?

Have you actually selected them to be synced to your device from the iTunes sync settings. -
How do I get the volume on my ipod classic to the same level for all songs? Some songs are a lot lower than others.
Coverflow in iTunes is sorted by Album Artist whereas coverflow on the iPod classic is sorted by Artist. Unfortunately, there is no way to set this on your iPod. This is such a fumble on Apple's part that I'm beginning to think they're becoming another Microsloth with buggy firmware and products.

Hi - for any photo, info in mountain lion shows a different file size than Photoshop does. I've tested with both CS3 and CS6 on 10.8.2 and get the same problem. This doesn't happen with CS3 and OSX10.4 or any previous versions of Photoshop and OSX. Anyone know why?
this one is actually a really rare symptom of a flaky connection to the ipod on a Windows PC. there's more going on in terms of hardware on nanos and 5th gens than in the earlier models ... so if the connection is flaky to precisely the right/wrong degree, itunes will see the ipod, but misidentify it as an earlier version of ipod.
tracking down the cause of the flakiness can be tricky ... as you already know ...
just checking. have you tried connecting with a different (known-good) USB cable? does that seem to have any impact on the rate of occurence of the problem? -
Project deleted in iPhoto 11 ver. 9.1.1
After spending three months building a twenty six page Book Project in iPhoto i added a page and later decided to delete the page. I selected the page, pressed the delete key and confirmed the delete dialog box ( i didn't read, dummy) by pressing the delete button. The whole project was gone, the undo menu was grayed out and there was nothing in the iPhoto trash about my Book.
Surly I can find this if I knew the path to find the project in a library on a back column I have of my hard drive.. Could anyone help me?Sorry I'm having a hard time getting this.
If I go to my hard drive BIGMAC>Library>Application Support>iPhoto>the only thing in this folder is Themes.
However, when I "Get Info" it's 580MB for 24,421 items. iPhoto says I have 35,977 photos. I would think the database would be into the GB for this many photos.
If I go to BIGMAC>system>Library>I find nothing about iPhoto
Is the iPhoto file in the Application Support the one I need to replace with my backup?

What has happened? Where is my iPhoto and why are my photos now in Photos? This *****. The whole reason I bought a Mac was the ease of iPhotos. Horrible. Bad move.
iPhotos is still in your Applications folder. The iPhoto Library is still in your /Home/Pictures/ folder.

Since upgrading to OSX Yosemite last night, I get this error message when I open spreadsheets previously created in Google Drive: "A browser error has occurred. Please hold the Shift key and click the Refresh button to try again." Following these instructions does absolutely nothing.
Word google docs open fine, as do spreadsheets that aggregate responses from a form and a select few spreadsheets; however most other spreadsheets display the same error message.
I've tried:
opening in Google Chrome - uninstalling and reinstalling Google Chrome: same issue
opening in Firefox: same issue
opening from sheets.google.com: same issuemoving tab doesn't work.
