Why can't i open pop up's i asked firefox to allow the popup and even went in and turned off pop up blocker but it still fails to let me see what i'm going for

i need to see an item in the walker exhaust website . and when i click on the picture to have it go larger i get the drop down across the top that said popup blocked. i went in and asked for the popup and nothing. i then went in and turned it off and closed the option page and tried again and nothing still will not allow it. i have had this problem before and getting tired of it. i almost would rather close the popup's than to not get the ones i need to see.

Why can't I open or read my email in firefox. This problem started last week, and now I have to use internet explorer to read my emails.

On Oct. 28th problem started when I went to email preview page and could not open or read any emails. I have been using Firefox browser for several years and never had this problem before the above date. If I want to read emails, I have to use Internet Explorer now.

Why can't I open pics from Pictures folder using Firefox 4?

I like to use Firefox to open my pics from my Pictures folder. The previous version allowed my to do this. This new version is not working. When I click on the Firefox option from the "open with" drop down box, nothing happens. Previously, the pic would open in a new tab. It doesn't even open in a new window.

Snowball99, I don't think that element on the gmail is using flash. I opened up the element on the page and there is no embedded attachment. So, I would like to clarify is this an embedded photo in the email or is this an attached pdf, wav, or doc files.

HT204382 Help! I just followed all instructions . . . downloaded DivX on my MacBook Pro so that I can view all of the avi movies but it still won't let me see them. When I bring down the file and get info I can view it in the little box that only that.

Okay so . . . just bought a new Mac OS X because my last MacBook Pro burned up. I was luckily able to put everything on an external hard drive. But when I try to play my movies from the hard drive or any other DVD that were downloads that are AVI it says "QuickTime Player can't open "Genetic Roulette_(360p).avi" because a required codec isn't available." So I went ahead and followed the instructions and download the DivX but it still will not play. Can anyone out there help me?

I updated to ios7 and got the set up asst and selected restore from back up.... can't get itunes to do the restore as it wants me to turn off find my iphone, but I can't access anything on my iphone to turn off as I am in ios set up assistant

I updated my iphone 4 to ios7.04 in itunes. In itunes, it appears that all my data/apps/music/etc are on the phone (but I cannot see anything on phone itself except setup screens). I am getting the ios7 setup screen on my iphone. I have selected my language, selected my wifi netowork, enabled location services, and chosen resore from itunes back up. Next screen I get says to connec to itunes, which I did. In itunes, I select restore from backup. I then get a message that I need to disable "find my iphone " "Go to iCloud Settings on your iPhone and turn off Find My iPhone before restoring your iPhone." I cannot go to any settings on my iphone as I cannot get past the connect to iturnes screen! I have also tried not enabling location services and that made no difference. I cannot get to anyplace on my iphone except the ios setup first few screens. I am going crazy, there must be some simple thing I have missed! Any help appreciated!

I found a way to get to my data. So do not need remedy at this time.
fwiw, I changed my ios7.04 setup answer of restore from itunes to new iphone. Eventually that allowed me to set up icloud, then turn off find iphone, restore. Very strange ios update.

But to get back to the vulnerable part, you can update Flash by downloading a fresh installer from Adobe:

Why can't I open Slideshow in Yahoo mail in Firefox 15.0.1 when it works fine if I use Safari? Mac OS X / v10.7.5

For the last two days I've had a problem opening attached photos in the Yahoo Mail Slideshow feature. The screen goes to a grey layer as usual, but the photo never opens to view it. I don't think it's a Yahoo problem as the Slideshow works fine if I access my mail using Safari.
Some older posts suggested clearing the cache of personal cookies, but I don't store any history on this computer so there is no cache to clear.

I've restarted Firefox in Safe Mode as suggested and when I open the Yahoo Mail slideshow it works fine. I guess that tells me there may be a corrupted file somewhere. I'm just not sure how to go about finding out how to correct it. When I try to switch to the 'Default Appearance Theme' it won't allow me to do it while in Safe Mode. Should I be trying this AFTER I get back out of 'Safe'?
I don't keep any cache so I'm not sure how I can bypass it. I've tried reloading the mail inbox page by pressing "Command + Shift + R" but to no avail...
This problem just came up in the last two days, so I went back one week in my Time Capsule backup to reload a copy of Firefox from a time when I wasn't having problems - still no luck. The photos won't open in the slideshow preview on Firefox unless I'm running in Safe Mode.
