Why Can't I Sync YouTube Video To My 1st Gen iphone Any Longer?

For the last year I have been able to sync video from YouTube using TubeSock. First video converts and downloads into iTunes, then iTunes syncs and puts video on iPhone. Now, it seems, since the time of the iPhone 2.0 software upgrade I cannot get video to iPhone any longer. Tubesock says "file does not exist" although I am watching the YouTube video play. So I download and install TubeTV which now allows me to download those YouTube videos into iTunes again and they are playable in iTunes, however they will not sync to iPhone even when using iTunes->Advanced->Convert selection for iPod or iPhone. Please help?

Now it just comes up with a message 'unable to play video.Check your internet connection and try again' There is nothing wrong with my internet connection. I am on wifi and full signal strength. Thanks for this Griff but it's not the app that isn't responding. I am in the facebook app (on both iPhone and iPad) and the app is working fine but if people post a video I can't look at the video on the iPhone or iPad. i always used to be able to but now it keeps coming up with the message I mentioned above. So I can no longer watch videos from facebook on either my iPad or iPhone. Here is a screen shot of my phone of what is happening. As you can see I have full wifi so there is nothing wrong with my internet connection. This is really annoying as I used to be able to watch videos on both phone and ipad out of facebook. now I can't. Hope you can help. regards and thanks Vicki

Why can't I load youtube videos with FireFox 4.o beta

Somehow or I don't know I can't load youtube videos, I can access the youtube page and pick a video normaly but when it's time for the video to load it won't ! the video screen will just stay in color balck ! I tried erasing the cookies and rebooting my laptop but nothing works !

RIM has taken a bit of a cloud approach on this. If you use gmail, you can install Google Sync on your blackberry. This will sync your calendar (and contacts if you wish) up to the cloud, and then when you enable it on your playbook, down to there. I'm using this setup, and my BlackBerry, PlayBook, and Google Calendar are always in sync no matter where I make the edit or change.
Why RIM didn't implement a method for imporating this data, no one knows. But if you really wish to just view your BB data, you'll have to use Bridge apps for now.

I restored my iPhone 4 and now I want to sync all my contacts to my iPhone.
My contacts are in Address Book and iCloud, however i cannot sync my contacts. I ticked Sync Contacts on my iTunes.

Syncing contacts in iTunes will not get them to sync with iCloud. To sync with iCloud on a mac you must be running OS X Lion (10.7.2 or later) and then enable iCloud syncing in the iCloud control panel in System Settings (see http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html). Also, once you enable iCloud syncing for contacts you should disable iTunes syncing for contacts (by unchecking Sync Contacts on the Info tab of your iTunes sync settings). Trying to sync with both iCloud and iTunes will result in duplicate contacts.

I'm trying to put videos on my iPad from my computer and it says that my iPad will not sync because my iPad does not accept the software, but my boyfriend has the iPad 2 and he was able to put the videos from the Mac computer on to his ipad2

I've just been given the best advice - transfer the clip to i Movie and then export to i Tunes.
I think being this simple, it should be explained by Mac support.

Not sure, but I think the fact that iPhone youtube vids are encoded in H.264 (as opposed to flash on most computers) has something to do with it.

Why can't I sync pdfs from my iPad to my iPhone?

I have pdfs on my iphone and ipad but the two sets aren't identical and nothing I do can get them to sync to each other. In iTunes I have 'all books' selected under the books tab for both the phone and the pad.
When I tick 'selected books' I can then scoll down and tick all the pdfs that I want to sync from my iPad but the pdf that I really want to transfer is no where to be seen in iTunes. When I do the same on my iPhone iTunes doesn't even recognise a single pdf file - none of them are there.
I have tried to drag and drop the documents into iTunes or use the import feature in the menu but niether of them work for either the iPad or iPhone.
I don't understand why this is so incredibly difficult.

Why can't i email my video? It says it is too long.

Please can you tell me why my iPad is telling me I can't email a video to myself. I get a message saying it is too long. The reason I can't understand this is as follows:
1. The clip is quite short - maybe a minute or so.
2. I am sending it via MY OWN wifi network (so it has no impact on my carrier)
3. I am sending it to MY OWN email account on MY OWN network server (so it's not as if there are any space or bandwidth issues anywhere)
I hope there is a workaround. I don't want to have to carry around my MacBook with my iPad just so that I can send short videos via email.

You say that it has nothing to do with Apple but they are the people that write the email code that generates the message aren't they?
Regarding your "You can see how big the file is: in Finder right click on the file, and 'get info'.", there is no Finder app on the iPad is there? I assume that to find out how big the file is, I would first have to get it onto the Mac?

Why can't I sync my music automatically anymore to my iPhones ?

I've got two iPhone 4's. Something has happened in the settings so that I can no longer "automaticall" sync my music.I'll select the albums and artists I want to sync and then press sync and it never transfers my selections. I can sync my music to our iPads with no problem. I believe this problem occured after I did a restore on thr phones because they were both having weired problems. I figure it has to be a setting but I can't figure it out. I've had iPones for years but can't figure this out. Please help!

I restart my phone and computer, then it let me sync. If you have same problem try this, it might work.

Why can't iTunes for Windows see airport express 1st Gen

I have a 1st Generation Airport Express that was working prior to the most recent update of iTunes for Windows 7-64bit. The device is located on an access point router. My PC is conneced to a 2nd Access Point Router. I have tried multiple configurations of the AE with no success. I even tried installing on the the same access point as the PC with no luck. I have also tried connecting with the Firewall disabled and added itunes.exe to the list of programs ignored by my security software.
The Airport Utility can find the AE and I use Airfoil to stream to the AE for other applications and it works just fine. Even with iTunes. I'm listening to iTunes using Airfoil to the AE as I type this.
The more I use iTunes the more I hate it. My iPad and iPhone cannot use the Remote app to connect to iTunes either so I am sure its all related.
Any suggestions would be appreciated:
Below is a more detailed explanation of my network.
Primary Internet rounter/modem is for uVerse.
3 secondary routers configured as access points - 1 Linksys WNDR3700, 1 Cisco AE4200, and 1 Cisco AE4500 (all on different floors).
The AE4500 is connected to the uVerse Router
The AE4200 and WNDR3700 ares connected to the AE4500
The Airport Express is connected via ethernet with no wireless to the AE4500.
I need a network genius to figure this out!
