Why did the iTunes update screw up the already installed iTunes on my computer? I can't sync my iPod to my computer because it now says iTunes was installed incorrectly. Re-install iTunes. I've tried to install it 3 different times. It's NOT working.
I had attempted to update my iTunes so I could go ahead and clear out some of my songs on my iPod that I no longer care to listen to at the moment. When I finished updating and attempted to open iTunes, I was given an error

Why did the Fios instalation technican cut my in house coaxial line?
This has been bugging me for a few hours. As part of the instalation process the fios technical physicaly sniped the coaxial cable in my house near the entrance at my door. At the time, I didn't think much of it, after all, I was going to have Fios in an hour.
But I haven't cancled my RCN yet, and more to the point, I didn't tell the guy I haden't cancled it. He took it upon himself to snip the line running into my house that was still providing a service, and I can't understand why. Had I thought more on it when it happened I would have been really upset, and am kicking myself for only thinking of it now.
So, I was just wondering if anyone knew WHY he did this. It must be a policy thing at some level... but I can't find any info on it, and I can't be the only one to have considered it.

Most FiOS installations re-use the in home coax, I suspect your home is no different. If the RCN line gets connected into your in home coax network when FiOS is connected as well, all sorts of "bad things" can happen. Neither signal will work and the FiOS signal will now be pushed out to your neighborhood potentially messing up other RCN subscribers.
By clipping the cable, the installer prevents anyone from reconnecting a "loose" connection causing an unhappy customer, angry non-customers and potentially the involvement of the PUC (government).

You might consider itunes match for moving CDs you've copied into your itunes library if you dont have a way to use home sharing.
iTunes match is an optional service offered by apple that costs about $25 a year. It scans your music library and if it finds music that is already in apple's itunes catalog it'll automatically "unlock"/"store" these in the cloud for you. I tried to install iTunes 10.6.1 for Windows (64 bit) and it says "A required iTunes component is not installed. Please repair or reinstall iTunes. (-42404). I have tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling and it still does not work. I then restored my computer to a week ago and tried to download and install the update and this came up again.

How can I sync my ipod nano 4 to iTunes on my PC? I've tried the sync botton on iTunes and the 5 steps recommended by Apple to correct sync problems with no luck.
How is your iPod configured to sync content from your iTunes library? Any error messages during the sync process?
You may want to reset warnings on the device by right->clicking on it under Devices and choosing Reset Warnings. Then resync the iPod to see if any alerts appear.
Is this the same computer you normally sync the Nano with?

I downloaded the latest Itunes update, 10.6 I think. I can still sync my Ipod, but now I can't access the Itunes Store. There's no error message, it just keeps "accessing" but never completes. How can I fix this?
Ok... I just tried connecting my iPod directly to a USB port on the computer rather than via the USB hub I was using and everything is fine. Odd, but I'm happy now.

Why did the recent update to ios 7.0.4 use up all my storage (over 9 GB)? I have no storage for music and apps. There is over 9GB designated to "other" under usage now. I only have 16 GB total.
Text, the best way is to take screen shots, or if you can forward them to your email. Your notes are either saved by your email or with icoud. They can help you find out where they are saved at.
The resest is easy. I would say it best to also save your photos on your computer as well as a extra back up so you can also see them. Depending if you have Mac use Iphoto and import all photos, Windows use I am drawing a blank, but you can go to your start menue and then your phone will show up as a removable device and then left click and transfer photos and videos.
After that you will be set. But it will take a bit to get all of your text taken care of thought.
Also if you have non-programed email address like Roadrunner ect. You will need the incomming and out going server information SMTP ect. -
Why did the update of my iphone4 to the IOS 6, lose my UTube icon, and was replaced with a Passbook app.
Apple is no longer supporting YouTube with a native application starting with iOS 6.0. The "old" YouTube application was automatically removed when you upgraded, and it no longer exists in the new iOS. There are however, numerous third-party apps in the App Store which will allow you to view YouTube, including one from Google, which is the parent company for YouTube. Passbook is a new application to iOS 6.0 and is not at all related to YouTube.

Did you follow the instructions in the message and contact Apple, which you can do through iTunes Store Support. If Apple have asked you to contact them, then the issue can only be resolved by them. -

The problem is that the Add-ons Manager tab when opened the first time, is on "Get Add-ons" section and that must be downloaded from the Add-ons server which might be overburdened.
