Why does the cursor keep going to the address bar and how can i stop it from doing that?
For some reason after one of your updates, the cursor on the browser always goes to the address bar. It deletes the address and wants me to type in a search term. I have gone through the necessary changes that your support page suggested to turn that feature off, but it still does it.
It is seriously irritating and inconvenient. How do I stop it from doing that. I am very close to not using Foxfire anymore as my default Browser. Please let me know how to fix this problem.
For me at least, it's not a mouse setting.
It started after an update a couple of months back and nothing I can do will change it. Tried running in safe mode, it does it, tried a reset, still does it. uninstalled, reinstalled, does it now too.
It's infuriating!

I want to re-position the reload button to appear outside the address bar (on the left, next to the back and forward buttons), not where it is at the moment, which is at the extreme end of the address bar and is a real hassle to use. How can I do this?
To move the Stop and Reload buttons to their position to the left of the location bar you can use these steps:
* Open the Customize window via "View > Toolbars > Customize"
* Drag the Reload and Stop buttons to their previous position to the left of the location bar.
* Set the order to "Reload - Stop" to get a combined "Reload/Stop" button.
* Set the order to "Stop - Reload" or separate them otherwise (Space or Separator) to get two distinct buttons. -
What are these files that keep appearing on my desktop and how can I stop them from showing up?
Ever since I've upgraded to OS X Mavericks, I've had these strange files show up on my desktop. The trouble is that they show up even a little while after I delete them. Here's a few examples:

The best way to prevent malware from being installed on your Mac is to enable Gatekeeper.
Open System Preferences > Security & Privacy then select the General tab.

It seems whenever I use YouTube with Firefox, the YouTube video will only ever let me interact with it unless I go full screen then hit escape. if i don't, I can't type in the text box below the video. even stranger, if I go to a new tab and try to enter something into, say, Google, I can still pause and un-pause the you tube video, even in the other tab, just by trying to type in a text box. You're welcome. I use the same Apple ID for iCloud for three devices here in the family for simplicity. To be honest, despite others recommending against it, it makes it easier for me to track the children's phones and we have not had any issues with messages or FaceTime. And, I can track all of the devices with a single sign-in of iCloud and can lock and erase any and all with one login.

every time that i sync my iphone with a cord to my imac some large portion of my music is placed in the cloud so that i must down load it from the cloud. this includes music that i have purchased on itunes and other music. it seems random.

The first step in troubleshooting that may be to identify the tab or page involved, then try Firefox with only the newtab page and the problem page open.
IIRC Firefox is intended to continue streaming audio even if a tab does not have focus. That enables users to stream audio in the background whilst browsing. What you hear may be intended behaviour. -

Ok I found a solution that worked for me, I simply dragged the user.js and the user.js.BAK to the desktop, before that I had done the same with the prefs.js and prefs.js.BAK, but that didn't help, so it's apparently the user file that was an error with.

It have still not made a new user.js file, but everything runs fine, hope this can help others to. -

First than all, depends on the specs of the Mac you own. As an experience, my MacbookPro Mid 2012, heats up after 20 minutes of using the game (with very high graphics), but I have a solution that I can tell you.
This solution is called SmcFanControl. It's an app that allows you to increase the RPM's (Revolutions Per Minute) of your Mac's Fan, which prevents it of heating up so quickly.

That's an ongoing problem with this recent version of iPhoto as you can see from the topics at the right under "More Like This". The workaround that works for all is to export the photos to a folder on the Desktop and upload to Facebook with your browser until a fix is found.

Basically , i can clear the history in Firefox , and then for a example , go to Craigslist , using IE7 (launching it from a complete different Icon , in other words at that time i never open Firefox) , then after closing out , or even leaving open as it does not seem to matter , i go into Firefox , and hit History , and there is every place i visited in IE7 , on my History in Firefox -
When my Ipad has been disconnected from wifi and shut off, it keeps coming back on and online. It can happen in 10 minutes, or hours later, happens irregulary. Have noticed when it happens, I get nofications from facebook of comments and or posts.. I can switch the wifi off, switch the iPad off and then set it beside me, hour later it dings, i have noficiations of face book things, and its online again.. why is this and how can I stop it from happening?
Yes, I went to settings and turned wifi off. Thought at first I wasnt letting it set for a sec or two before shutting the iPad off. so now I wait like a minute or two before shutting the iPad down. didnt seem to help. Tried actually logging out of facebook when I was done with it, worked for about 4 days, and now it has started coming on and coming online again,, I went through my notifications and shut things off, Well see if it works. thank you.

I keep getting kicked off of my wifi on my macbook pro. It is the wifi in my house. I get kicked off like every few minutes or so. Why is this and how can I stop it?
I think the other devices are fine. I'm not sure. It usually only happens like a couple days out of the week. I do know that the network I'm using when I click on the wifi symbol at the top of my screen doesn't have a padlock on it. It IS MY network that is at my house, but maybe that has something to do with it.
