I have a resources dictionary with a color:

I have added this resources to App.Current.Resources.MergedDictionaries.
Later, in my converter to set the background in a listview, I return:
return App.Current.Resources["MyColorWhenSelected"]
But the item has a white color, is not blue like the defult selected color.
However, if I return:
return System.Windows.SystemColors.HighlightBrush
Then the color is the expected one.
I have tried another color from my dictionary, por example:
<SolidColorBrush x:Key="TestColor" Color="White" />
If I return
return App.Current.Resources["MyColorWhenSelected"]
this works as expected.
I guess that the problem is because in this second case all is SolidColorBrush type, while in the first case one is SolidColorBrush and the other is SystemColors.
My idea is to use the resource dictionary because if in the future I decide to change the highlight color, change it in this resource, and not to change in all the converters in which I use this color.

There is an error in your binding. You should bind to the Color property of the HighlightBrush:

Is your signature still current?(iPhoto '08, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.4)) I can confirm this for iPhoto '11; Shatter will only show the text slide title between the slides. Ken Burns and Classic theme can still be set to overlay the caption and title directly over the slides.

From reading on the internet, it appears that when there is a spike in memory usage, AVG "interprets" that as a memory leak, possibly caused by malware. AVG could be incorrect concerning that assumption. Maybe they are being a bit too conservative about memory usage; just my opinion.
The decision is yours to turn off the "advisor" or leave it on.

Some phones can only send and recieve SMS messages. If the recipients phone doesn't support MMS they won't be able to recieve a text with a photo.

Filedown has a nasty reputation in English-speaking countries - plenty of antivirus/antimalware apps block everything there by default, which is what Peter has done. It doesn't mean that your link is malicious, only that it's hosted somewhere that has been used to host malware in the past.
I'm pretty sure, Peter, that there aren't any nonbreaking spaces there, because I'd wager that there aren't any spaces there at all. It's justified text, and the reasons why it will or will not break are sometimes obscure when using composers that aren't the J composer. Chinese text is usually entirely free of spaces, except in certain circumstances, usually involving European language inserted into Chinese text. Sometimes, for reasons I don't understand, InDesign will simply treat Chinese as if it were English, and only break at spots permissible in Euro languages. That's not the case here - it obviously breaks between two Chinese glyphs, so something else is up here.
Which version of InDesign are you using? Are you keying the text directly into InDesign, or are you placing, or copying/pasting?
If you're using an English version of InDesign, I would suggest trying to save your Chinese text as raw text or RTF and File -> Place that. If you choose RTF, try to mark it with Chinese language in your RTF editor (Word?) if possible.
Is No Break applied anywhere in your text? You can check in the Story editor (Control/Command Y) to see what styles and formatting are applied.

In Address Book, why does Apple let you create custom fields in the Template cards but not have them available for importing?

I open Address Book, go into Preferences, select Template and under the Names field (friend, assistant, father, etc) I add a custom field called "Principal".
I also add two more custom fields in the Email area.
Quit Address Book then relaunch. Add a new contact and the new custom fields, Principal, etc. are there. All good so far.
I have a Now Contact file with about 200 contacts in it. I export all fields as a Text file, Tab delimited. No problems there. With Address Book launched, select Import, pick the text file, leave Text Encoding on Automatic and click Open.
The window that shows the fields for Address Book and fields for the text file side by side opens. This is where you match up the correct fields for importing. If I go to one of the fields from the text file that I created a custom field for, click under the Address Book heading on the Do not import, scroll thru the Apple choices of fields, none of the custom fields show up. Only the original Apple ones are there. Why does Apple let you create them in the Template area but not have them available for importing? Does anyone have suggestions on getting around this?

Extensions can sometimes be the cause of problems. If the problem does not occur in Safe Mode, then you can disable your extensions one-by-one until you find out which one is causing the problem. See [[Troubleshooting extensions and themes]]

These forms are not embedded correctly. I'm surprised they even work. You need to go to the distribute tab, click Embed button, copy the embed code provided and then paste that into your HTML. Same thing is happening to me but I am using a card reader. Can't get any explanation besides checking the preferences. I can import by downloading to desktop then importing to iphoto but never had to do that before.
