Why doesn't Grep Styles with pos lookbehind work?

Hi,
I've posted another thread but I suppose I expected too much. I'll try to siplify this.
I have text where I want to catch underlined text:
Ponny, - Cob…….499,-
125, - 135, - 145, - 155…….399,-
140, - 150, - 160, - 170……..99,-
140, - 150………99,-
This paragraph grep style works for the above: ^\w+,\s-\s
However, when I want to use positive look-behind to just catch the " - " it stops working.
I have tried the following (none of them catches anything at all):
^(?<=\w+,)\s-\s
(?<=^\w+,)\s-\s
(?<=\w+,)\s-\s
Is there a limitation as to what syntax I can use in the lookbehind?
Pointers anyone?

Lookaheads and Lookbehinds don't work when using the repeat codes, like "+" or "*" or "?" etc.
I guessed there might be a limitation as to what works.

No, sorry. The underline was olnly to indicate what I was trying to grep...
I don't want to use find-replace. I want to use the paragraph grep style.

Why doesn't adding Waveforms with compound arithmetic work?

Hello everyone,
I have a program that adds up multiple waveforms and displays them all together as one distorted curve in a single waveform graph.
I've had to add them all together using simple add functions, since the compound arithmetic block doesn't work.
Why would this be the case? Isn't it essentially just doing multiple additions in a convinient way? I've attached a VI with a simple example to show what I mean.

1. No need to wire up the N. The autoindexing will tell how many iterations to perform.
2. Use Delete From Array to remove one of the waveforms from the array. Initialize the shift register with the deleted portion.

I have also noticed glitches often in IMovie. I have had the same problem and if I can solve it I find a way around it. Sometimes if your hard drive is too full it has a hard time fuctioning because there is just not enough space for the program itself to function. The raw footage alone for one of my projects took up 1/3 of my HD disk space alone. I had to delete all other projects just to do that one video. One thing you can try is just exporting the movie as is. delete the old project and re-import the video you just exported as a new project. Then add the music into the new project. Hope that helps.

do you have the current itunes? the option is under view "show duplicate items. Maybe you just dont have any duplicates.

I'm trying to ad a grep-style to a paragraph style.
It's easy to read/write properties from one that already exists but how can I create a new one?

Yep, know about Nested Grep Style.

If I have a P-style in a document, with a nested grep style applied. I can read and write to that grep style by calling it:
nested grep style 1 of paragraph style "myParaStyle"
read: grep expression of ... -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Where ... is the above line
write: set grep expression of ... to "xyz"
However, if the P-style doesn't have a nested grep style applied, I can't find a way to create/insert one into the P-style.

I'm having the same issues. I am using the iPhone 3 version 4.3.3 and I am trying to play movies on my TV that I purchased from iTunes using the Apple composite cable attached to my iPhone. There is sound but no video. You can see the movie playing on the iPhone but the movie does not play on the tv. However, if I go into music videos under my iPod icon on the iPhone, those do play on the TV with sound and picture.
When you download a movie from iTunes and save it to your iPhone, does it not already save it in videos? I have them under my iPod icon on my iPhone and then I click videos to view. Music videos, TV shows and movies are all in the videos tab under the iPod icon.

Why doesn't it come with an A/C power adapter?

I haven't yet purchased a separate A/C adapter. I thought that if one were necessary, it would have been supplied -- after all, an iPod ain't cheap. I know I can charge it by plugging into the USB port on the PC but this does more than charge it. I find that, although I have set it up not to sync automatically, it will reset things on my iPod -- for example, I lose my currentl Now Playing playlist. The Do Not Disconnect message is also very disconcerting until you figure out how to eject it.
When it got stuck in the diagnostic screen (another thread) I had to borrow a friend's A/C cord and plug it in so it could diagnose it ok. I don't know whether it would have been okay with just the USB cord because it asked for that too.
So, it appears that an A/C adapter is really a necessity. So why isn't one supplied with the unit?

Many people purchasing an iPod nowadays already have a previous version, thus they alread have an AC adaptor. By not including the adaptor in the box, they are able to keep the price down a bit (if it was included, we would be paying for it to be there), and allow the users to decide whether they need/want one or not.
For example, I bought a 5g iPod last december. I had no need for an adaptor because the adaptor that came with my mini I had purchased several years earlier still works just fine. By not including an accessory that I have no use for in the box, Apple probably saved me $20 or so. Seems fair enough to me.

Why doesn't the desktop 'snap to grid' work with Snow Leopard?

I've recently upgraded my OS to Snow Leopard and I do a lot of work with photo folders which I keep organized on my desktop. Since upgrading the 'snap to grid' function in the view options of the desktop preferences has stopped working. For some reason the folders and files on the desktop keep snapping off the screen or on top of each other so that I cannot find them easily. I've had to turn off the 'snap to grid' and the desktop no longer looks organized and is not easy to navigate. Why is this happening? AND, how do I fix it? It seems to me the snap to grid shouldn't have gone out the window with an upgraded OS. I'm very organized and borderline OCD so this is FRUSTRATING me to no end!!!
Anyone have any ideas?

It's working for me in 10.6. Try moving this file in your Home Folder/Library to the trash -- don't empty it yet.

When finished go back to the Desktop>View Options and select Snap to grid.
If that doesn't do it, open Terminal in utilities and copy/paste this command, then hit return. Don't attempt to type it in by hand. If you make a typo or get the spaces wrong, there could be a disaster. When finished go back to the Desktop>View Options and select Snap to grid.

Why doesn't my fifth generation ipod nano work with my Toyota Yaris?

Hello – The charging feature on my new fifth generation ipod nano doesn’t work with the factory glove compartment adapter that came with my 2008 Toyota Yaris. It plays music, etc but does not charge the ipod when connected.
My third generation nano charged perfectly with my yaris until it was run over and crushed recently. My nano gen 5 replacement doesn’t work the same with my Yaris. Can anyone help?

I cannot say for sure, I don't know anything about the toyota yaris. However, if that system was built to work with older firewire based iPods, then it will not charge new USB based units. There are converters out there you can get do deal with this.

Why doesn't FF5 start with previous tabs & pinned tabs, & no Save or Quit at shudown.

First up, the Feedback form wouldn't submit, so my gripes are included here. Perhaps more word allowance is needed for complex issues? Or the form simply has a glitch in it.
Using FF5. At shutdown last night FF did not ask if I wanted to save the pages I had open. In internet options (from 3.6 installation till now I have check-marked that FF open with tabs & windows from last time (session). Day before yesterday it loaded the previous session tabs just fine, but this morning it loads w/o the 4 or so tabs & 3 pinn'd tabs at quitting time, only iGoogle (the designated homepage) which wasn't open at shutdown time. In fact, I think it hasn't asked if I want to quit or save consistently since upgrading to FF5 a few days ago.
Bottom line IF by default I request FF to open with tabs & windows from last time, why at shutdown is it asking if I want save and quit. As I see it, open pages ARE tabs and should be automatically reloaded at start time. ANDDDD that should include the pinned tabs. Otherwise, the pages may as well be bookmarked.
Oh, one more problem: I created two toolbars but where are they? They don't appear nor are they acknowledged on the toolbar menu.

BTW, love the Pinned Tabs but miss my Google Bookmark toolbar, however, I got around it by pinning the bookmark page. Now, if you could just get those pin-tabs to reload consistently. Wink, wink . . .

1) Firefox5.0 has a built-in option to Restore Previous Session.
go to History Menu -> at the bottom you will see RESTORE PREVIOUS SESSION option.
2) If you want Firefox to startup with tabs & windows from opened last time.
go Tools Menu -> Options -> General -> Startup section -> select '''''When Firefox start: Show my Windows and Tabs from Last Time''''' -> Click OK.
3) go to View Menu -> Toolbar -> Customize -> see if your toolbars appear here. If not then they were probably incompatible with Firefox 5.0
Check and see if things workout fine.
