Why has Mountain Lion disappeared from my Purchased List in the Apple Store?

When Mountain Lion came out, I purchased the upgrade and installed it one one of my MacBook Pros.  Today I wanted to download it again on my other MacBook Pro and install it there.  It doesn't show up in my "Purchased" apps in the Apple Store.  
I had some serious system errors a few months ago, took this MacBook Pro into the local Apple Store and they reloaded Mountain Lion for me.  Did not erase the purchase history?   I really need to upgrade the other MacBook Pro. 
Help?  Someone who knows the solution to this, please respond quickly.

Problem solved.  I called Apple Care and was on hold with three different people, but they finally got me to someone who could check my previous Apple IDs.  I had downloaded it under a different Apple ID than I'm now using.  When Apple changed from me.com to iCloud.com I found the transition very confusing.  At that time I changed my apple ID from just a five letter ID to that same five letters with an @me.com after it, [email protected]  I had forgotten how that went as the conversion was confusing to me. It wasn't necessary for me to change my Apple ID.  Now I have two.
So, I logged in with just the XXXXX and was able to get into my previous Apple account and there were seven apps there listed as purchased, including Mountain Lion.
So, I'm now downloading the Mountain Lion upgrade App on my wife's MBP and it is coming down, slowly.  It's going to take an hour or more to download 4.44 GBytes (probably a couple of hours as I remember from the first time I did this).
So, thanks for your trying to help solve this riddle.  I've given you a Star that you helped me.  Do appreciate your help and sticking with me the past hour or so.
I was impressed with Apple Care.  They really tried hard to help me.  Almost made the cost to put this MBP under Apple Care worth it (over $300).  Sad thing is that I spent over three hours saving $20.  Should have just purchased the Mountain Lion upgrade again under my wife's Apple ID.  Lesson learned.

    First, make sure that you are using the same Apple ID on both Macs. Mountain Lion is hidden, so go to App Store > Featured > Account (under Quick Links) > Show hidden purchases, and show OS X Mountain Lion. Finally, OS X will appear on Purchases to download Mountain Lion

    I bought a new ipad mini and got in it the apps of numbers and pages. To day I looked on all my purchased apps and saw that the numbers app exists among the list of  purchased apps but the pages app disappeared from the list of purchased apps. the app still works on my ipad.     I scrolled over and over but it is not there. But if I erase it from the ipad and then open the App store I can download it for free. It will not be on my purchased list but I can redownload it.

    It is not possible to delete Safari, it may have moved to a different screen.  Do a search for the app or you can click on your settings>general>reset then select reset home screen layout.

    I also had to remove all entries for April 1st . I just hope you havn't any friends on Facebook that have a birthday on that day. I think I may have just upset someone by de-friending them on Facebook, to remove the event from the calendar. There was no other way to remove it. Lets hope they fix it soon.

    I don't think Apple will do that repair for you, because the iPod is too old.  I believe the hard drive type used in 4th gen and older iPods is no longer produced.  There may be non-Apple shops who can do the repair, but they may be using a working part salvaged from a used iPod.

    NOTE:  There are two hard drive physical sizes.  The thick version has two platters, and corresponds to the "thick" iPods (with double storage capacity).  A 4th gen 20GB model should be the thin version.  The hard drive used in iPods up to 4th gen should work interchangeably, but 5th gen and later iPods use a different type.
    I have a 4th gen iPod that started out as a 20GB.  The hard drive failed, so I put a compact flash card on an adapter in there.  The adapter is like this one (I bought it a few years ago so it's probably not the same seller)

    The compact flash card is standard; I bought the cheapest one.  I currently have an 8GB card in there, but prices have come down, so I may get a 64GB card soon.  It works great with the 8GB card.  No more hard drive spin-up delay.  Battery lasts longer.  It's lighter.  And it should be more shock resistant.
    The only mod I needed to make on the adapter was to bend over two pins 90º, where you place a jumper to set the drive to "master."  The adapter plus CF card is actually smaller and thinner than just original 1.8-inch Toshiba hard drive; I used some thin foam packing material (cut to the right shape) to take up the excess space and ensure the adapter and card did not become disconnected.
    The 4th gen iPod has excellent sound, compared to some later iPods.

    They offered to value my iPhone and then put that money towards buying me out of my contract however I don't want to have to spend more money when my contract ends on august anyway.

  • Why has Mountain Lion created 3 iMessage accounts on download

    Does anyone have any idea why Messages is not working since I downloaded Mountain Lion.
    I was using a Beta version on Lion with no problem.
    Since I have downloaded Mountain Lion, three iMessage Accounts have appeared in my Accounts panel, along with AIM and Bonjour.
    Only one iMessage box is ticked, but the other two iMessage accounts I can't delete. I have tried rebooting.
    I can send an iMessage but when people tell me they have sent me a reply I don't receive it.
    iCloud is working fine in my mail program and I have checked and doubled checked the password several times.
    Help pleeeeease.

    Hi - I am having the same problem. I recently changed my email address (and hence, apple ID) and Itunes will only play the 5 or so songs that I purchased with the new email ID. When I try to play the older songs, Itunes asks me to authorize. After I type in my password and authorize, the song still does not play. I have tried de-authorizing and re-authorizing my whole computer but it does not work. Please help!
