Why I can download app on a computer, but not on an iPad?

Hi all
I bought my mom an iPad Mini, as a Christmas gift and I am trying to set it up for her. Well in any event I was hoping to load the mobile app for her bank on to said iPad. Problem I am finding is that when I do a search for First Interstate in the App Store on her iPad I get no results, while I find it using iTunes on my stepdad's Mac Mini. Did not see this, as a problem, because I thought I could just sync the iPad to the Mac Mini and thus load the app. Well I get message stating the I need a newer version of iTunes, but said version requires a newer version on Mac OSX. Any reason why I can download this app on the computer, but no on the iPad? I may a work around with my MacBook Pro, but I am hoping she won't need to do this.

If I'm looking at the correct app then it's optimised for the iPhone - when you do the search in the App Store apps on the iPad, on the results screen tap the 'iPad Only' button at the top left of the screen and select 'iPhone Only' instead and it should then show.

When fist setting up your new iphone you will be asked to log in with an apple id and password. If this did not happen you can then do as you suggested going to settings to itunes and app store and add your apple id login. It's not currently possible to gift a single song from an iOS device, you can only gift albums.

You can't connect directly to the external drive, but should be able to use iTunes Home Sharing via the laptop.

I had the same problem today and was able to resolve it without having to do a restore or reset. The problem had something to do with my mail accounts. The upgrade reset my mail settings, switching both my gmail and my .mac mail to "archive all mail". I went into the General Settings, disabled that setting, and resynced the phone. The "other" storage allottment dropped back down to less than a gig.
Before you restore or reset, I would try that first.

Try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works.

Can be seen in my computer but not itunes????!!!!

Since you re-formate you computer your iPod will see it as a new computer.
First get iTunes to see your computer:
iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows
After that you can move iTunes purchases, including your apps. to the "new" compouter by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
Also, you can always redownload apps at no additional cost:

If necessary you can transfer non-iTunes music to your computer by using one of the third-part programs discussed in in this previous discussion.
Best iPod to PC
Make sure that the .xml folder/file is actually music and not just a listing of music Ican y place the songe in iTunes on the computer).
After you get everything in your iTunes library, restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod and sync your stuff to the iPod. You will lose your app date since you do not have a iPod backup file t restore from.

I have a dual boot setup iMac that the screen went bad on. I updated to a new iMac and need to download creative cloud to it. Can some tell me how to go about unauthorized the previous two downloads on my old computer on your end so I can set the new computer up.

I can print wireless from my computer but not from my iPhone or iPad.

I have a Photosmart 7510. I can print from all of our computers but not from my iphone or ipad. I was able to do this at one time. I have tried both printing and emailing the photo to the printer. In both cases, it appears that the email is sent to the printer or in the case of printing, it connects, sends and the Print Center on the iphone says it is printing but it is not printing and the Print Center gets stuck on trying to print that file.

What router are you using?

It does, however, show up on my MacBookPro. I have checked the iTunes on my iPad; the app does not show there. Where do I go from here?

If you purchased directly on the iPad, it should have downloaded automatically.

On Facebook, how can I share another person's photo album to my iPad? It shows up on my Android phone and on my computer, but not on my iPad.

My son posted an album on Facebook; he took the pictures with a regular camera. I shared the album and it immediately showed up on my All-in-One computer and on my Droid phone on my Facebook timeline. It has never appeared on the iPad, so all my friends with iPads are not seeing this photo album. Do yoiu have any idea why?

I have discovered the same problem. The timeline or group that the album is loaded directly to one can see the album and photos. However my habit has been to us my group as archive and then share the album with other groups saving me uploading several times. If I look at on my desktop I and others like you see the shared album and friends with droid FB apo also see but ones with iOS FB app do not see the shared album be it on a friend/family member timeline another group. I do not think this used to be, if almost seems that recent updates of the applicaion for iOS led to this problem but I am not certain. This is a big issue as I do not have time to upload and describe the same photos on the two to three other groups I share with. I share your frustration, and there seem to be other things I do not see maybe it is all the shared photos/albums vs ones put on a timeline or group. Not acceptable...
