Why I must click twice Back Link in TLN to get back to Area Page

Hi everyone, i need a little help about TLN. I'm developed webdynpro application and i have integrated it with ess. The problem is arise when I click <b>Back</b> link in top level navigation (TLN) from my iview (custom application). I need to click this link twice to get back to area page (actually just one click to go back to area page). How i handle this problem ? Thank you.

Exactly, so now you know why you have to click twice, right ? Well, why it has created two links there, that needs to be checked or thought over. Need some time for this.

Sorry, didn't get your question. Do you mean to say that you want to hide the detailed navigation on the Area page. Is this Area Page a custom application ? What is the code written on the click of button ? Is the Area Page an iview within a page and then attached to role or workset or just an iview attached to role or workset ?
Have you changed the following property of iview or page (for Area Page) "Initial State of Navigation Panel" to closed ?

I am replying to myself. I called for Tech support and found out that when I tapped on the link I went to a web page in Safari and to double tap on the home button at the bottom of the iPad and then tap on "Mail" to get me back where I was.
I hope this helps anyone else with the same question.

First Screen click box -must click twice

My colleague created a simulation in Captivate and inserted a
clickbox over the Start Button. The clickbox is set to appear for
rest of slide (and, in attempt to troubleshoot the issue, he's set
clickbox to appear for a specific number of seconds as well ); the
option to pause the movie until learner clicks is selected; the
double click option is NOT selected.
When movie runs, the user must click then wait a while, then
click on the start button again before moving to next screen.
Why is this? Any theories?

Another method of avoiding this issue is to insert the Mark
of the Web (MOTW) on your HTML pages. Google "Mark of the Web" to
see learn more about this method. As long as we have the MOTW on
our HTML pages, the page is considered to be in the Internet zone.
Also note, you must have MOTW on all your HTML pages otherwise
moving from page to page does not work. As some pages are
considered to be in the Internet zone and others are not.
The nice thing about this method is that it works for other
items besides Flash and the learners do not have to perform any
extra tasks to make it work correctly. Someone else provided code
that you can add to just the HTML pages you use to launch your
Captivate (Flash) files. It works too. But I prefer the MOTW
because it doesn't try to circumvent the inherent security
features.

When I click on a link a new window opens instead of a new tab. This is new. I've gone into tools and checked my settings and nothing changes it. It annoys me.

This issue can be caused by an extension that isn't working properly.<br>
Start Firefox in [[Safe Mode]] to check if one of your add-ons is causing your problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Tools > Add-ons > Themes).
* Don't make any changes on the Safe mode start window.

Why,when I click on a link it can not be located & Firefox stops working?

when I click on a link (for example in an e-mail) the following message appears: The procedure entry point js_NextActiveContext could not be located in the dynamic link library js3250.dll
Then another message comes up stating: Firefox has stopped working. A problem caused the program to stop working correctly.
If I open Mozilla Firefox it works alright. Thanks for any help.

Why when I click on a link to play a video it runs in slow motion?

When I click on a link within a site (MSN) to play a new story the video runs in slow motion. This started to happen suddenly. I have tried to refresh Firefox and updating some add-ons but still have the same problem. What can I do to fix it. When I try it in IE it works fine but not in Firefox. Help!

From what I found on MSN it looks like it uses Flash. It is quite possible to try to disable/enable hardware acceleration in Flash or disable protected mode. [[Flash Plugin - Keep it up to date and troubleshoot problems]]

When I click on a link it moves to the top of the page

I am new to this forum and fairly new to dreamweaver so I hope this isn't a silly question. I am designing a large number of web pages which will only be viewed on the C:\ drive and not posted on a server.
I have inserted hyperlinks on the index page linking to other pages in the same folder. I am using a css sheet to define each of the links.
Now to the problem. When I preview the index page in internet explorer and I click on a link the link works but the actual link itself moves to the top left corner of the index page.
An example of the html code is:

You have the body tag, followed by oodles of absolutely positioned elements, followed by naked links with a spurious </p> tag at the end. Not only are you not allowed to have naked links on the page (they must be contained in something like a <p>, or a <td>, or a <li>, etc.) but since the content above the links is entirely composed of absolutely positioned elements (which are removed from the normal flow), the links are exactly where they should be - at the top of the page. There is nothing in your layout that would place them anywhere else.

I can no longer click on a link in email and get re-directed

as far as I'm aware I haven't changed any settings - but I used to able to click on any type of link that came over on email and get into the appropriate website. I can no longer do this and I don't know why - can anyone help?

Go to Tools>options>tabs>check the "open new windows in tab"
or ctrl+click on the link ( always worked )

Why, when I click on Photoshop Elements 12 to download, it appears there are no english versions?

I purchased Adobe Photoshop Elements 12 in a box complete with DVD and a serial #. New , never opened. The DVD does not work, I have spent collectively months trying to resolve this and today an Adobe rep who I allowed to take control of my screen---saw the DVD won't work, didn't say a word good or bad about my registration # simply said click on this link: Download Photoshop Elements products | 13, 12, 11, 10 and download from there? Everytime I click on a link, instead of loading it on the same page it opens a new tab.

Suddenly every time I click on a link, it opens it in a new tab i.e.; if I search yahoo from my home page, it opens yahoo in a new tab, then when I click on yahoo mail, it opens yahoo mail in a new tab, and then when I sign in, it opens yet another new tab, etc etc. I must have pressed something, but I don't know how to undo it.

If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one. <br />

New page opens each time I click on a link instead of staying imbedded on the current page

Each time I click on a link or delve further into a sight, instead of staying within that sight Firefox opens an entirely new page. At the end of just a few minutes of browsing, the page indicator along the bottom of my screen has dozens of open pages. I can't hit the 'back' button to go back in a sight because Firefox has already opened a new page instead.
What is up with this and how do I get it to stop?

How can I stop redirect and jumping when clicking on a link in Google search or on a web page?

When I click on a link in Google (or other) search, or a button within a page, too often, at least half the time my request is REDIRECTED and JUMPS to another unwanted page!

I have cleaned my computer a few times since first noticing it, both with Spybot - Search & Destroy and CCleaner. Also have
the latest version of AVG 9.0 Free checking for problems as I search.
I am about to clean again though to see if it makes a difference.
Had to do some updating a few days ago and haven't cleaned since then. Thanks again. Will let you know if this handles it!

When I ope my mail in gmail. I click on a link to open a new tab and show me what ever it is I've just clicked on....Firefox won't just load the page like it did before I upgraded to this latest version. It says: Firefox prevented this page from automatically redirecting to another page. and asks me to allow. I allow.
How can I tell firefox that if I have clicked on a link, I want to view it. That seems intuitive enough. I don't want to allow every time. I do this all day~

The setting in "Options > Advanced > General" is meant as an accessibility feature, as you can see by the label of that section, so that people with disabilities or people who use screen readers do not get confused and is not meant as a safety protection to stop redirecting.
