Why is my iBooks app taking up 500mb on my iPad? I only have one book downloaded, so I don't know if this is normal. Please help, thanks.

I got this problem a few days ago. I downloaded a book from the Internet which is 38 mb, then when I checked pmy usage, iBooks surprisingly took about 600mb. I searched so kich articles about it and still haven't got my answer. I r stored my iPad, deleted all books, restatred my iPad, connect my IPad to iTunes, and atill nothing. My iPad by the way is running the latest version of iOS. Please help as this is bugging me so much, thanks In advanced.
