I'm tyring to define a new date pattern, date{MM-DD-YYYY}, in Adobe Desinger 7 and it kept saying the pattern is not valid. Please help.

Why the delivery date in the order not changing with P.O???

Hi All,
I am encountered with an issue that in a P.O the delivery dates are kept as customer requested delvery date and these cahnges are not updating in the order.
According to standard SAP the change in delivery dates in a P.O should get updated in sales order.But its not happening if we keep this date as customer requested delivery date,Why is it so?
I would explain with an example so that it would be clear:
An order is created say 03/31/2011 and the requested delivery date is 05/02/2011.
Confirm delivery date is 05/10/2011 (because in purchase info record it is 40 days)
Now when P.O is created this confirm delivery dates will come.If we change these dates to any other dates it would replicate in the order.But if we keep these dates as customer requested delivery date, it is not changing in the order.
Please any one help me out....

Please check the timing in work scheduling view. other wise schedule the routing and maintain time there and check your result.
In material Master MRP2 screen you will get Scheduling Screen where you will get
In-house production
GR processing time
Plnd delivery time
These are lot size independent but value in work scheduling view are lot size dependent.
Go to VOV8 and check the Lead time part. If u will maintain lead time of 2 days, the req deliverty date will be 2 days frm order creation date.
You can configure this in the configuration of the Sales document type in VOV8. Here we can specify the value and as per that configuration the date will be defaulted.

Date error ORA-01843: not a valid month

Hi,
I am in a 4.01 Apex environment with NLS_DATE_FORMAT mm/dd/yyyy. I created a view with a CASE statements using 'when eventstartdate between '08/15/2010' and '06/1/2011' then...' clauses and the view is created fine. I also can query the view with no problem with SQL workshop and the CASE statements work as expected. When I create an interactive report on that view I keep getting ORA-01843: not a valid month. I even tried matching the format in the Interactive Report column format mask to the NLS format for the date and still get error.
What seems especially strange to me is that even if I have the view column defined with a 'to_char' I still get the same error when I use the CASE statement to build the view. Doesn't the Interactive Report just 'see' the View column definitions-- why should it 'care' how the view was built?
The only way I can get the View to work with an Interactive report in any manner is to remove all the CASE statements and define the 'eventstartdate' as text using to_char but that then eliminates my ability to do any filters that require date comparisons with between or '>', '<'.
Help would be appreciated!

Quick late night response - always convert your dates for comparison. Apples to apples
Instead of between '01/31/2012', use either
TO_DATE('01/31/2012', 'MM/DD/YYYY')or

Just because it is an 'old' email doesn't mean it's not a valid Apple ID account.
Is the email that is showing one of your old email accounts? If so, did you ever edit your Apple ID and change the primary email of your Apple ID to a new email, or did you simple create a totally new Apple ID?

the nite's 12 pm ?Yes. 12.02 AM = two minutes past midnight,12.02 PM = two minutes past midday (noon). Find out more.
So you probably want a range boundary of 11/28/2006 12:02:00 AM.

Why is my data set marking server not included in my executable?

I have a program that writes data sets to a citadel database with a data set marking I/O server. Everything works fine in the labview environment, but when I create an executable of the program, the data set I/O server does not appear to be included. The executable can create a database and write individual traces to it, but they are not grouped into data sets. I have looked everywhere in the project window and in the build specifications window for the executable for a setting that would affect this, but have found nothing. Here is a picture of the build specification window for the executable. You can see in the Project Files window the lvlib file and the included Shared Variables folder, but the data set marking server is not shown as it is in the project window above it.
The lvlib file created with the executable appears to remain in tact, because I can open it in the LV environment and see the data set I/O server included with it:
Finally, here is a picture of the databases that MAX sees. The VI in the LV environment produced the top database called C__Program_Files_National_Instruments_Labview_8_2_data with the DataSets folder, and the executable version produced the bottom database called mVROC_Database with no DataSets folder:
I'm using LV 8.2.1 and DSC module 8.2.

Thanks for the reply. As I was looking into your questions above, I found that the I/O server was indeed geting included in the executable, but it was configured in the original project to look at the wrong database. After a fair amount of playing around, I at least got it to create data sets. However, there are some other weird things going on now. The logged values of the variables are mismatched, or the value from say variable A shows up recorded in variable B. This stuff is all way too touchy. Overall, I've been very dissapointed with using the DSC and database stuff. The promotional literature talks about how easy it is to use, but that is just not the case, and I've been programing in labview for about 10 years now. Unfortunately I need to set this project asside for now so I can't investigate further, but I'll eventually get back to it.

Why does this cause error (ORA 01008: Not all variables bound)

When I assign values to parameters for a command object, I used the following code with the .NET provider:

This works fine, but when I switch to using ODP it generates the 'not all variables bound' error. I checked the parameter's status and it was Success. However, if I change the second line of the statement to

cmdReq.Parameters.Add(":po5", OracleDbType.Varchar2, DBNull.Value, ParameterDirection.Input)

It seems to be OK. So my question is - why does the first statement generate the error? Am I misinterpreting the overloaded constructor or it it a bug in my code? Thanks.

No need to answer, I solved it.
For anyone else who might run into this, there were two issues:
1. Assigning DBNull.Value to a parameter without specifying the parameter's type causes the Value property for that parameter to not be initialized. If you reference it, it will come back as a runtime error (check it first by testing for IsNot Nothing).
2. In my update code, I have a lot of where clauses like "WHERE (COL1 = :1 OR COL1 IS NULL AND :1 IS NULL)". The default binding for parameters treats these two references to :1 as two different parameters. Setting BindByName to true solves the problem.

HT4878 Why is this data chart Timeline multi colored (in About/Storage) and the external drive is only pink?

1. When viewing the Storage Timeline for my Macbook and the External Drive for the Time Machine backup instead of multi-colored bars the data is only showing a one pink one. Is that because it is all "backup" on the external? 2. Is the discrepancy in size the OS being left out? Thanks.

Time Machine makes full backups of the hard drive. If you want to change this, you can open System Preferences > Time Machine > Options, and add excluded items. However, I recommend you to keep backing up the whole drive, so you will be able to restore the whole backup in case of a hard disk failure

When I scroll over content there seems to be "pop-ups" that come about. Why is this happening with FireFox and not I. E. ? How do I fix the problem?

Most likely caused by one of your extensions. If the above doesn't get rid of it, check here next:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Extensions category
Bear in mind that's it's probably not clearly labeled "annoying advertising" but may have an unrelated or innocent-sounding name. Disable everything that you do not use daily; if in doubt disable. Then use one of the links that appears above a disabled extension to restart Firefox and see whether that helps.

I don't know what's doing that, but resetting your iPad back to its factory default mode can't hurt, and can actually help. I hope you've got your backups, so you don't lose your information.

Why is the date picker icon is not showing on the PDF file?

Hi,
I added a date field on a form.
I can see the date picker icon when viewing the form online but when I download and open the PDF to my computer and open it on Adobe Reader that icon doesn't show up.
It's important since my users then need to manually enter the date instead of choosing it on the graphic interface (some of my users are older so need all the help they can get)
Is there an option or something I missing to make the date picker icon show up on the actual PDF file as well?
