Why movemet 543 will effect the average moving price?

Dear all:
I have created a Subcontracting PO, then sent the RM A to vendor, and made movement type 541 in MIGO. After the processing in vendor, recepit the the FG B to our plant, and made movement type 101 & 543 in MIGO. The action should reverse RM A in our system, but I found the amount of reverse was not the same as WIP A before sending to vendor. And it has resulted in the variance in average moving price of the RM A. So I want to why is it. Thanks~

I've down load the MB1A list of the material, and sorted by posting date. And I don't know why the AMP changed from Materila Document NO 5007080671. The AMP hss changed from $0.032/PC to $0.018/PC. And the actual purchasing price was 0.032. Thanks~

Why can't I get the average function work with empty cells?

The thing that I am having a problem with is that I made a different form that calculates the average no matter how may of the cells have numbers or not and I didn't use an if function.  I have tried with this other form and and it calulates as if all the cells where being used.  I am using the [*] in both instances but it only works in the one I did earlier.

  • How will effect the tax on depreciation ?

    Hi Sap Gurus,
How will effect the tax on depreciation ?
    what is the entry...
    Thanks
    Ramakanth

    Hi,
Treatment of tax depreciation depends on how your client wants it.
Most client don't want tax depreciation to post to general ledger. Hence in the configuration, using transaction code OADX, the setting of tax depreciation is set to zero. This way real time tax depreciation is not posted to GL.
Depreciation keys specific to cater tax depreciation are either created and defaulted to asset classes where tax depreciation is present. Also useful life of an asset is changed in tax depreciation area. This ensures tax depreciation to be calculated normally while posting depreciation. Later on reports can be executed to get the value of tax depreciation during the given period.

  • What will effect the usage decision on vendor, Stock, purchasing, production

    Hello Expert,
what will effect the usage decision on vendor, Stock, purchasing, production
    Thanks regards,
    Ram Rathode
Moderator: Please, avoid asking basic questions

    Hi,
Usage Decision completes the inspection and  life of Inspection lot will be over - when you take UD. Thus: by UD:
    ·        A quality score is determined for the inspection lot
    ·        The quality level (inspection stages for the next inspection lot) is updated
    ·        The quality management information system is updated with statistical data
    ·        Automatic follow-up actions are triggered
    Affect of Usage Decision on:
    Vendor: rating would come down.
Stock: no affect (unless you make it mandatory for "Accept" UD to be used for stock posting).
Purchasing: if the stock is returned to vendor, Purchase order would still be active. Also, Vendor rating would be affected
Production: UD has no affect on production except when it is linked to stock posting.
Outgoing certificates: In Certificate profile, if "accepted" lots are to be considered for Quality Certificate creation, then it may cause problem.

  • Average moving price in a past sales order

    Dear gurus,
How can I check the average selling moving price in a past sales order. For example, I want to see the average selling price in a set of orders which has been created in March or May this year as we are in August.
    How do I do that?
    Thanks
    Chris

    Hi
In the moving average price procedure (price control u201CVu201D), the system valuates goods receipts with
the purchase order price and goods issues with the current moving average price.
The system automatically moving average price calculates( the latter) upon every goods movement by dividing the total value by the total stock quantity.
This is the concept of MAP (It changes dynamically with each and every MIGO or SD goods issue happens with that material in its master record )
MAP is a dynamic parameter and it changes with each and every sales order in MMR
MAP for the past single order can be seen in VPRS condition type provoded if you have choosen the appropriate price control there
average selling price in a set of orders which has been created in March or May this year as we are in August.
    This statement is meaningless
    Regards
    Raja

  • Why can't I use the Average and Join commands in an action?

Something I do a hundred times a day is select two endpoints, average them, and join them. I tried to make an action and map it to an Fkey, but Illustrator won't allow the Average or Join commands in an action. When I tried using the Insert Menu Command, it made Illustrator crash. Finally I managed to do it without Illustrator crashing, but there is then no way to hit "OK" in the Average dialog box via the Actions palette. Why is this apparently impossible?

You have to use Actions Palette Flyout menu  >> insert menu item to get those menu items reocorded.
To get action to stop crashing you need to Actions Palette Flyout menu >> Playback Options >> 1 sec or greater.
There already are keyboard commands CMD J & OPT CMD J for these. Unfotunately you cannot record for example the next menu choice step such as BOTH.  A script likely could be written for this though, and you can try posting in the Illustrator scripting forum.

  • Why my iPhone will touch the screen automatically, sometimes?

I've got an iPhone 5s, I found it sometimes will touch the screen automatically while I didn't do anything. The first time I find his problem is in Ninja Rooftops, I noticed that it jumped lots of times by itself. And then I find this problem not just in the game, it's everywhere...
Can I get my iPhone changed? It really bugs me!!!

    Try This...
Close All Open Apps... Sign Out of your Account... Perform a Reset... Try again...
Reset  ( No Data will be Lost )
Press and Hold the Sleep/Wake Button and the Home Button at the Same Time...
Wait for the Apple logo to Appear...

  • Release Strategy changesin PR will effect the previous PR/PO also?

    Dear Experts,
PR Release strategy should be changed(Release users increased). Can anyone clarify how the changes will affect. Will it apply to the previous PR/POs. If so what about closed POs. Pl advise.
    Thanks

    Hi,
If you change any existing PO or PR the release strategy will be checked. If a new one exists (which will be the case) the system will find it and the release process will be restarted. Same happens for closed POs if you undelete them.
I would suggest to create new release strategies instead of changeing the old ones.

  • Free (warranty) goods / average moving price

    Hello,
    I have the following scenario:
1.) Customer wants to have a part free of charge which I do not have in stock
    User does:
    - VA01 / TA
    - ME21N (account assignment = customer order number)
    - MIGO ( GR 101 E )
    - VL01N
=> doesn't affect my mov. avg. price!!! FINE!
2.) Customer wants to have a part (free of charge) urgently which I have in stock
    User does:
    - VA01 / TA
    - VL01N
Then because customer has warranty on the machine for which he ordered the part,
I wanna have the part free of charge from vendor who built and delivered the machine.
    - ME21N (no account assignment), but free of charge indicators set
    - MIGO ( GR 101)
=> My mov. avg. price is corrupt, because it was e.g. 100 EUR for 1 pc., now it's 100 EUR for 2 pc.
Can anybody tell me how to handle this correctly? Because I don't want the mov.avg.price to change !!!
    Thanks a lot!!!!

    Hi,
As per the scenario,  you are supplying a part free of charge to your customer for which your are procuring from your vendor.
You do not want your moving average  price to be affected. To do this, you have first reverse the entry made initially against the part which was supplied and make it return to the vendor using movement type 122
You must return the faulty item to your vendor by taking it back from your customer. Now you can make goods receipt entry  with subsequent delivery in MIGO . Now with this your MAP will not affect.
As your getting replacement for the faulty part from your vendor by reversing and then returning entires in MIGO.

  • Can I replace CUA with CUP. If not why or what will be the risks

    Hi,
The client does not want to have two provisioning systems CUP & CUA. The sole purpose they are using CUA is the proper accounting for SAP licenses such that the user ID remains the same across the landscape. No other purpose of using CUA. In this case can I replace CUA with CUP 5.3 SP12.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Sanjeev

There are limitations to doing that.
CUA has a technology focus and does not take access risk into consideration at all. The long-term successor of this would be Netweaver Identity Management. If you want to consistently manage user master data and license information, that's probably the solution to look at.
You can perfectly use CUP on top of that to manage authorizations. You can also force CUP to only allow user IDs from a central system like CUA or ActiveDirectory in order to enforce user ID consistency.
What CUP will not do is give you an overview of where a user is maintained with which kind of information/license data. That is something that either CUA (for ABAP only) or Netweaver Identity Management will give you.

  • How do I calculate the average of ONLY the populated fields?

I'm working on an Adobe form to streamline the process of summarizing course evaluations.  To protect the anonymity of the students, instructors with 10 or fewer students are given a typed summary of the evaluation results.  On the first half of the evaluation, the students are asked to rate a series of statements from 1-5.  Three of these are highlighted on the summary form with the average response.
I've already set up the form with 10 unique boxes for each question and an 11th box which calculates the average.  Each field is named according to the question number and the student's "number" (I arbitrarily gave each student a number so that each field would be unique):
    i.e. #1. Questionquestionquestion.  Q1S1  Q1S2  Q1S3  Q1S4  Q1S5  Q1S6  Q1S7  Q1S8  Q1S9  Q1S10  1AVG
The problem, of course, is that no matter how many students were actually in the class, the AVG field will always be calculated based on a group of 10...which isn't accurate or fair to the instructor.  I thought about just changing the form and removing the unused fields from the equation each time I make up a new summary, but the point of creating a form was to make it as quick and easy as possible to bang these things out... Plus, some of my coworkers might be using the form from time to time and I'd have to explain what they have to do and if they don't have Adobe Acrobat then they can't actually make the changes and blah blah blah...it just gets ridiculous really quickly!
So anyway, I tried reading some other posts for similar questions in an attempt to figure out a custom calculation script for myself, but I just couldn't focus on it.
I was hoping someone could explain how to write a custom calculation script that will omit any fields which are left blank... Or, even better...is anyone willing to write it for me?  At least just an example of the first guy, cause I could probably figure out how to get all the other ones from there.
    Thanks.

In formcalc the function Avg will calculate the average of only the fields with a value in them. So you would would put in the calcuate event of the average field:
    $ = Avg(Q1S1,Q1S2,Q1S3,Q1S4, etc)

  • Partition key modification effect the performence of the table ?

we have a partitioned table with more than 15 partitions(Range partition 9i version).
now we want to modify the partition key using row movement option,
but i found in forums and google that partition key modification may effetcs the database performence.
i want to know it will effects the db performence or not,if yes, what extent it effects the db performence and what are the issues may rise ?

One thing I can think of is partition pruning.
If the new partition key is not being used in the predicates then partition pruning may not occur.
You should choose partition key wisely to ensure that pruning happens almost for all DMLs.

Well, due to lack of pruning, you may even see table full scan instead of single partition scan which will drastically hamper the performance

  • Problem caluclating the average

    Hi,
    The requirement is as follows:
    Col A | Col B
    1 | 4.1
    1 | 3.2
    1 | 1.1
    1 | 2.3
    1 | 1.5
    2 | .3
    2 | 6
    3 | 0.2
    3 | 8
    3 | 3.1
    and so on....
I need Column C that calculates the average of each group of Column A (Ex:- (4.1+3.2+1.1+2.3+1.5)/count(1's in col A)), (0.3+6)/count(2's in col A), etc. and I was able to achieve that creating a new column in the report and writing in it the below formula as below:
    sum("Col B")/count("Col A")
The result was as follows which is correct:
    Col A | Col C
    1 | 2.46
    2 | 3.15
Now my next task is to find the average of the above like sum(Col C)/count(Col A). I tried to calculate the same using the below formula
    sum(sum("Col B")/count("Col A"))/count("Col A")
but the average is somehow not being calculated correctly when i try to validate using manual calculation. I changed the column properties to decimals upto 4 places, I even tried with 8 places of decimal, but still the answer is not correct. What am I doing wrong, is the above formula correct?
Appreciate your quick response and help. Thanks!!!!!

Appreciate your quick response and help. Thanks!!!!!First of all, using your figures as actual examples, the average for 1 is not 2.46, but 2.44.
To get what you are looking for, do this:
    1) To get the average of each group in Col A, use this formula in a column called "Average":
    AVG(Col B BY Col B)
Use a pivot table and put Col A in the Rows Section and the Average column in the Measures Section. Don't put any other columns in this pivot table or you will get unexpected slicing and dicing of the data.
    2) To get the average of the averages, duplicate the pivot table to get Pivot Table:2 and put the "Average" column in the Measures Section. Exclude all other columns. (In other words, take out column A from the Rows Section. You will get the average of the averages.
