Why must I click everything twice where a single click should have worked?

My Ipod just got a malfunction that makes me have to click ANY app I want to open twice to be able to open it. That's not too bad. The hard and annoying part is when I want to scroll down anywhere...I have to keep double tapping and hope that it registers and allows me to scroll down. Even the "Slide to Unlock" bar needs to be clicked twice to allow me to slide it across and unlock my itouch. This problem started immediately after a pop-up notification came up and I believe I clicked the home button at the exact time it popped up. Maybe it's purely coincidental, but the problem came right after that incident. Another thing to note is that a black rectangular box surrounds (and moves) to whatever place I click, be it an app, part of a sentence, or even a picture. I don't know any way to fix this problem and need help! Thanks.

Head to Settings -> General -> Accessibility and make sure all of its settings are turned off.

Hi,
1 : you have a "timeout case" but no timeout linked, so you lose the advantage of the event structure !
2 : make a event for "stop" on value change
3 : its normal, because le control terminals were out of the event struct, run it in high light mode you'll understand
Remark : instead of having to clic a boolean to refresh the indicators, why don't you make a "value change event" directly on the control ?

Do someone knows why the secondary click does´t work after the mac os lion´s installation?

Well,after that I´ve installed the new Mac OSX Lion...and navigate trough the panel,I see that the secondary click doesn´t work. I mark it in the trackpad´s panel but when I open it again,it shows the option with no mark,do someone knows why?

Why must I click on text before number disappears?

OK...I get a text message. Sometimes I can read it as it scrolls past. If not, I can press "Messages" and most often the two lines it shows tells me enough, if not the wholek message. But the "not yet seen dot" and the number next to the Message icon won't go away unless I click on the message to open it completely, then shut it. That means I have to click the Message icon, click every new message, click back to the message list, then press the home button again to get back to my home screen. What a pain! Any way to shorten this process?

It seems there is no shortcut.... as the phone won't able identify which message you have read if you don't click into it...

How can I locate a log of dated activity on a mozilla firefox where I know I should have entries in my history yet they do no show - and without being deleted?

In summary, on the date of 8/17/2014 in the evening, I experienced some very bad internet connectivity and virtually any website I visited was having difficulty loading. I know I had visited a couple of websites between the hours of 6:30pm or 6:45pm (EST) up to roughly an hour or two, and now (even though I had NOT chosen to delete even one (let alone hours of history entries) there is a chunk of mozilla history missing where I did not delete. I am seeking some assisstance finding the log of ALL of this browser's activity that day, especially a record of any alterations to browser's history. I know that I did not physically delete hours worth of activity and there must be some way of bringing this truth to light. Thank you for your time

You can use the SQLite Manager extension to create the list.

*Open Profile Directory -> places.sqlite -> Go
*Hit the "Execute SQL" tab
*Use a Select like this:

Change the strftime parameter list to the wanted date/time range, times in UTC.
Leave out the ORDER BY line to order by the first column (visit_date) or use ORDER BY visit_date DESC

Click action wont work in Edge Animate

I think its a z-order issue, the button is not even getting a click event. I triggered the click event from the console on your site manually using: $("#Stage_buttonCopy").click(); and that works correctly.
Also, I tried setting the z-index to 10 (just for testing) - $("#Stage_buttonCopy").css("z-index", 10); then the click events are fired. You can check your composition and assign an appropriate z-index as required.
You might have also noticed that the mouse pointer is not changing even when you hover over the "Learn More" button even after setting - cursor: pointer. It indicates that the mouse events are not reaching the element.

In every version after 3.6, I have had to click twice or "reload" the page. If I close the page and click again or reload the page, it immediately comes up.
It is not because of problems in my computer. I went into safe mode and disabled all add-ons and got the same result. It happens on 80-90% of the websites. There are a few sites that consistently load immediately but most I have to reload the page or wait for the page to load which can easily take 30 seconds to a minute.
I have a fast download of 28 and upload of 6. I have a clean computer, plenty of ram memory and have limited programs allowed to activate on start up. I usually have very few tabs open at a time. I've cleared cache and done all the usual things always recommended to do.
This is very frustrating and it has to have something to do with bugs in changes of versions since 3.6. That version worked perfectly. These latest versions up to the most recent update have been consistently more and more problems.

I'm with you RJ343, as an ex-software developer from the late 90's, I am appalled at the way Firefox has gone.... i recently upgraded to Windows 7 and Firefox 17 and it is disgusting the number of things that do not work,... and I have to LAUGH MY F**KING HEAD off when I hear geeks and nerds who are barely out of their cyber-nappies moan at me because I prefer 3.6 and they can't understand why i don't love the latest version... SIMPLES > because they are so full of bugs and workarounds and stupid add-ons I have to install just to go "back" to 3.6 and its glorious feature set that has since been ripped apart and hacked to smithereens and replaced with dodgy , sh*te alternatives that I'm supposed to adore ? Same with XP, I am still using it and will continue to use it until MS deliver something of quality that the users want, not what they want to force on me....
SO back to the topic -- I landed on this page because I have noticed that in FF17 I have to keep clicking everything TWICE, to get the page to load. It happens everywhere, it's as though the focus is not set properly, and the 1st click sets that, and then I have to click again to execute. Certainly I have just registered in order to write this post, I deem it that important, and now that I am , I will have to start replying and posting the myriad of other failures by FF development team in their latest versions,.... what I find the most insulting as I mentioned, is this indoctrination that I HAVE to use the latest versions over the old, tried & tested products like 3.6, because FF will withdraw support or add-ons stop working for the old versions. I wouldn't mind, if the new versions weren't such a croc of shoite and actually worked.
THIS BUG must be one of the most basic and incompetent of them all. Why do I have to bloody Double-click everything ??? !

Since the new update, mail is being difficult. When I try to delete something, it deletes what I click on & 1 to 2 othere messages.

How about the cookies for that domain - did you delete those cookies?
"Keep me logged in for ..... weeks/days" is usually done via setting a cookie in the browser so the website recognizes the browser when you return and automatically logs the user in to the website via that cookie.
It seems that some websites have a problem recognizing the "remember me" cookie after a Firefox update, and the user need to set a new cookie with the updated version of Firefox so the website will recognize your preference. This particular problem with some websites not recognizing their own "remember me" cookie started like 4 years ago, shortly after Firefox 3.0 was released with an all new method of storing cookies. In the last 4 years this problem is mentioned less often as the years went by, so some websites must have fixed it at their end - where other websites evidently haven't gotten a handle on it.
Websites really need to get involved in the various "programs" out there like Browser ID / Persona - https://login.persona.org/about - and get rid of that hokey "cookies" method of remembering the users preference for being automaticall logged in upon their return to their website.

They aren't charging you twice. They just want you to verify your security code and expiration of your credit card. Better to make sure you personal info is correct then have a stranger try using your account.
From the iTunes menu bar click Store / View My Account then click: Edit Payment Information.
Make sure all the data is available then click Done.

Does this happen when print or copy? If print, there goto control panel, printer properties, the "number of copies" must have been set to 2 there. If copy, the setting is on the printer, goto "copy settings" to make the change.

Why doesn't Skype Click-to-call work on Windows 8.1?

Why doesn't Skype click-to-call work anymore? I upgraded to Windows 8.1, and now when I click on a highlighted phone number it asks "Which app should I use" or some such microsoft text. But no application is listed. Apparently it does not work from within Firefox (I have the latest version). And I can no longer find a Skype Click to Call application or extension in Firefox. Do I need to use another browser or is there a fix for this?
