Why my flash files dont run??

Hi, im creating a very basic web page using Dreamweaver Cs3 and Flash Cs3.
I created my flash files, inserted them on my html pages on Dreamweaver and tryed them locally, they work fine, but when i uploaded the files to the ftp server the flash files wont run, everything else works perfectly but the flash files.
I uploaded eveything to my FTP, the web page is http://www.aleduran.com and if you try http://www.aleduran.com/logo.swf you can see the flash file works, it just wont run on the main page.
Help.

Dreamweaver created a folder called scripts when you inserted the Flash onto the HTML document. Upload that folder and you will be good to go.

play() is a timeline command.
I don't think you can have Flash load/play an exe file, but
wait awhile and see if someone else knows better on that one. You
can have it load/play an swf version of a Flash file though.

Flash files dont work

There is no flash player for any amartphone right now. This includes the iPhone, Windows Mobile, Palm, and BlackBerry smartphones.

To run a flash file you will definetely need a platform for which you need a shockwave player or a simple browser window. From webdynpro, the purpose of making it run through a IFrame is at runtime, the frame acts as a window for the flash file to run. Hence its the direct option of running it. Otherwise, you need to use a external window to invoke it seperetely in a browser window to run the file.
If you have any specific issues, do let us know, or else its the best option @!

Flash file not appearing

Help! Please be kind enough to look at my code for this page
and see if you can figure out why me Flash file is not showing up.
The page plays perfectly when previewed in Firefox and Safari
directly from Dreamweaver. And yes, my Library folder with the
Home.swf file is on the server.

This line:

is inserted by DW8.0.2 when you insert a Flash movie.
It'll preview OK locally but you need to upload the Scripts
folder (which
DW8.0.2 created and Adobe neglected to tell you about) so
that the Flash
movie will view OK online.

Flash files in a container

Hello
I hope someone can guide me in the right direction. I am
producing a cd in Flash.
I want my flash files to play inside of a container/frame.
The container will be viewed as a red bar at the top and bottom of
the flash, containing my play, pause buttons etc. The flash movie
will play inside of the red bars.
Can the container be a separate object object as I want the
heading to be maintained in the container, so that heading changes
will be updated on the container extending the flash movie
lifespan.
I also want to add a preloader which is built into the
container to let users know that the next movie is loading.
Can the container be built in flash or would I have to use a
scripting language?
My flash files currently run as external movies - is this ok
or would they need to be internal?

If you are only going to put ALV's in the screen containers. You can control it in the program using the split screen container.
You can either split the screen or split a container. In this case I am splitting the entire screen.

        g_CONTAINER_BOTTOM = SPLITTER_V->GET_CONTAINER( ROW = 2 COLUMN = 1 ).
This is also useful if you want to create a dynamic layout ie. 1 alv in summary or 2 - 3 in detail mode. Also CL_GUI_CONTAINER=>SCREEN0 can just as easily be a container on the screen.

Creative cloud do not need a serial number. it will be using your Adobe ID on which you have purchased the creative cloud membership.
So you need to login with your Adobe ID and password to activate the cloud membership.
Log out & log back in of the CC Desktop App.
If there is no billing issue then follow these steps.

   Windows:
   In windows 7 navigate to following location:
     /windows/system32/drivers/etc
   1. look out for "Hosts" file
   2. Open it with notepad
   3. Check if you have any entry for Adobe
   4. Remove the entries and try again launching any product from CC
Mac:
   1. Please click on "Go" and navigate to /private/etc
   2. Open "hosts" file and check out for any entries for Adobe.com
   3. Remove the entries and save the file
   4. try again launching any product from CC

I am a Flash developer. When I change a Flash file (SWF) and try to test it, Firefox displays the previous version even though I have cleared the cache. Clearing the cache obviously doesn't clear everything. Why?

I developed a Flash file (SWF) with a light blue start button, placed it on a web server then went to the URL using Firefox (3.6.8). Later I updated the SWF (changed the button to dark blue), replaced the SWF on the web server, opened Firefox and used Tools/Clear Recent History... to clear the cache. Then when I went to the URL to test the replaced SWF it clearly opened the previous version (light blue button). How can that happen if the previous version no longer exists on the web server? Firefox can only be opening the file from its cache, so why is the file still there if I just cleared the cache?

I had the identical issue with iPhone config Utility on windows 7 64bit.
A virtual macOS on the same machine didn't have a problem, windows iTunes didnt have a problem. Just a glitch with ICU on windows
I tried everything you did and the only thing that fixed it was to change the appID or app name (I forget which I did).
I don't know where that old app data is stored on the machine, but I deleted all apps, uninstalled/reinstalled ICU and it still would populate and install the old ipa.
I also still periodically get weird errors/glitches deploying to iOS on windows.
It's like some days I need to deploy with ICU, sometimes iTunes, sometimes I need to run the VM mac... SOO frustrating.
It always works one way or another, so the app itself is always fine.
I guess I really need to look into that new direct deployment option...

MacBook Pro flashes file folder with question mark and startup manager will not run

My son's MacBook Pro won't boot (gets the flashing file folder with question mark). When I try to open startup manager (holding "option" key during boot does not do it). Other posts suggest inserting the install disk, but I am pretty sure that for Lion, there was no disk, it was just off the website through the App Store. Any further suggestions?

How do i set up flash player to run only the audio files

How do I set up the flash player to run only audio files? Every time i set up I tunes to work,, the flash player takes over all files that it wants and I cannont see my files for work. I want it to only auto run audio files and not my GIF's, & TIFF files.

Well I had a terrible brain burp!,, I ment to say Quick Time. In my business I have to go back at times and view TIFF files. Every since I installed ITunes on my new computer... Quick Time opens the files where MS Photo Viewer used to, and I can only see page 1 in Quick Time. This is a problem for me as the only way I can view my TIFF files is to save them to my desk top and then open them in MS Photo Viewer. Then I have to delete them after viewing.. I view files several times a day and this extra step has become a very larg pain in the fanny.

Running flash file from non-english folder

I am trying to run a flash movie located in a folder with non
english characters (japanse, chinese). (Using latest flash 9
player)
The movie does not play at all. Moving the movie to another
folder with english only characters works fine.
Also, it seems that this is something that has changed in the
latest version of flash.
Previous version of flash 9 seems to work correctly.
Any ideas?

Hi,
I don't know as much as most users here, but I have put up
about 18 different photo galleries on my DW site (almost ready to
be published).
I had to go into each code page where I wanted the gallery to
appear and paste the swf etc code. And it had to be pasted into the
code page not the design page.
Now, when I click a link to the specific page and look at it
in the design view, all I see is a large grey object. I can go into
the page properties and look at it that way, but I usually just
view it in my browzers. This Flash album is designed to work in the
browzer, not actually on the DW design page unless I specifically
click something.
This may not help you, as I said, this is my first site and
photo album dealings.
