Why OraclePortal gives "Internal ServerError" on registering provider?

hello
i have installed JWSDP, OC4j, and JAva Portlet Container. Then i deployed and bind my .war file (jsr 168 portlets) using the above installed products. When i give my WSDL file path for the registration of the provider it gives this error (Note: i have just deployed and bind the wsrp-samples.ear tht gets downloaded with portlet container)
An error occured during the call to the WSRP Provider: An error occurred whilst invoking an operation on the Provider
Java stack trace from root exception:
java.rmi.ServerException: Internal Server Error (java.lang.RuntimeException: oracle.webdb.wsrp.server.ContainerException: Error processing deployment descriptor "/WEB-INF/portlet.xml")
at com.sun.xml.rpc.client.StreamingSender._raiseFault(StreamingSender.java:384)
at com.sun.xml.rpc.client.StreamingSender._send(StreamingSender.java:245)

yes u r right. i was using jwsdp 1.3 . i have downloaded the version 1.2 and will try on that soon
by the way i am using oc4j 10.0.3 rather than oc4j 9.0.4 as mentioned in the installation file. i search for oc4j 9.0.4 but found that u can only download 9.0.3(Oracle9iAS Containers for J2EE (9.0.3) Developer Preview) or Oracle Application Server Containers for J2EE 10g (10.0.3) Developer Preview (the one that i am using currently.
would that matter too.

please note: 500 error is the most difficult HTTP error to troubleshoot , because it is very generic. It could be because of many things.
So, if you could provide us the OIM diagnostic logs when you receive it, it will help as to be helpful.

The movie in question is not 'corrupt' as you can watch it in iMovie direct from the SD card but as soon as you try to import it, it just says 'error'. iIve tried moving the file to an external drive ( and other variations on this theme) then importing but have had no luck.
Can anyone please help me.

Thanks for the pointers. The file type is .mts (a proprietry sony one).
I have now found some video converter software (Wondershare and iSkysoft) at a cost. Either will convert this file for me into .mp4. This I can then import into iMovie without any problems. I've checked this on the trial versions and it worked well but without paying am left with a giant watermark in the video
The mystery (which I still havent solved) is why did 20 other .mts files import fine and then this one not?
If you could point me in the direction of some free .mts converter software that would be the cherry on the cake.

Hi Alok,
External format is the format for the External data. The external format needs to be converted into Internal format and for that you have to use a conversion exit say for example Alpha conversion routine.

Turn imsg off/on.
If that doesn't work, I would than backup your data (considering the troubleshooting steps already listed) and "Erase all content and settings" on the device and setup as a new iphone and test imsg out in factory default. Try to activate your phone in factory default. If it shows your number / activates, there may be something in your current settings preventing imsg from operating / activating. If it does not activate, get in touch with carrier.

Any SOA architecture follows below process
Consumer -call ->HTTP layer( SOAP)->WS layer-->Application->DB
Our WS data is in WS layer mostly in form of XML,
To call any XML code we need a SOAP protocol and we need HTTP for this.

Hi Bill,
Your problem could be because of couple of resons. Try following:
a) On your machine try giving URL http://192.115.137.38:80/servlets/sample
Do you get a success page. This page would indicate to you location of provider.xml
If a) is successful, then try registering the provider in portal.
b) Before trying to register your provider with portal. On your web provider installation machine, go to $IAS_HOME/Apache/jserv/logs. Delete jserv.log and mod_jserv.log
c) Try registering provider to portal.
d) On your local web provider installation machine. Check following files for errors
$IAS_HOME/Apache/jserv/logs/jserv.log
$IAS_HOME/Apache/jserv/logs/mod_jserv.log
Couple of reasons of errors:
a) sample_portlets.jar is not specified in jserv.properties of your web provider machine
b) web server on your web provider machine is not running

Not only for Pricing Procedure, for any userdefined Transactions or any procedures we want to create we have to use the Alphabets Z or Y in the starting.
It has advantages like..
1. To identify that its user defined one, not part of the Standard SAP
2. The Major advantage is when the system is going to upgrade (eg. 4.6c to 4.7, or 4.7 to 6.0) while any upgradations takes place then the system only consider the standard code and the procedures or transactions which starts with Z or Y. So, we must mention Z or Y for our own defined procedure in SAP.
In Practicing time we can give any thing but if we are working on client systems then we must follow this rule.

Yes, you can do this with the Show/Hide "Skip" logic rules.
1. Suppose, for example, you have your first ten projects showing by default.
2. At the end of those fields, you would have a Yes/No question asking if the person wanted to add more projects.
3. If they answer "No", they move on to the next section/area/question/etc.
4. If they answer "Yes" you have the form display ten more project fields that you had already included, but you had hidden up to this point.
5. Repeat steps two, three, and four as often as needed. (It helps that you can copy and paste fields, including groups of questions, so you don't have to manually re-create them each time.)
It means you must anticipate the maximum number of times you want to provide project fields, but you've already done that, and you have to build the form with that maximum number, but only display smaller portions at a time until they have filled in all they need.

I'm working on a 27" imac with os x 10.9.5
I bought elements 13 in the adobe online shop. Downloaded it and tried to install it. The moment i filled in the serial number (given by adobe) i got the message can not validate this number, try customer support.
I called but elements is not supported by phone they redirected me to the chat. I tried to times, but the chat is not available.
I tried to return my purchase, but for that you have to register and thats only possible when it is validated. So i bought a E 80,00 programm and can't use it.
Then i got to my account to see in my order history (some time ago i bought lightroom and elements 12). I saw my elements 13 order and when i clicked it i saw my serial number (witch is not working) but to my astonishment is saw a price of E 100,00. And the message that something is wrong with my order history and i should contact customer support.
On the internet i saw a lot of the same problems and i think dat adobe is not concerned at all. Just buy and thats that!!!!!
Well anybody help help help!!!!!!!!
