Why replicants are not auto-starting after failure

Running UDS 5.2 on Windows, SQL Server.
We have found that occassionally we have Forte/UDS replicants that are failing (often due to a database deadlock) and the replcants are not auto-restarting.
We are unable to determine why these replicants do not automatically restart and we are hoping someone could shed some light on this.
All help appreciated.

Hi,
We are having the same problem with UDS 5.0.9 where we had a component partition that intermittently crashed for a still unknown reason. One of the solutions Sun Support give us was to turn on the auto restart option for the partition so using the following escript commands:
escript > findsubag lr_agreementtransactionmanager_cl0
escript > shutdown
escript > uninstall
escript > loaddistrib lr_agreementtransactionmanager cl0
escript > lockenv
escript > enableappcomp LiberatorServer1 LR_AgreementTransactionManager_cl0_Part7
escript > commit
escript > startup
The partition however did NOT restart when it crashed again. Is this the way you guys enabled the auto restart for your components (ie is there something I have missed?) or is this as KenG suggests a UDS issue/bug?
Thanks for your help,
Stephen.

  • How to not auto-start WindowsMediaPlayer

Just wondering what would the code look for not having the video inside of the media player not auto-start when you launch the form after debugging.

    Hi jcnf9,
It seems that it is not the VS IDE issue, it would be the specific development issue, to help you find a better development forum, would you mind letting me know more detailed message about it?
Which kind of app did you want to create, WinForm or others ?

For this issue you need to set up SSFS.

Are you looking for an app which will startup the Z10 at a specified time?
I don't know of one. I have a feeling once OS 10.2 is available you'll see apps such as this.

  • Why users are not able to see certain printers even though they are in the Airgroup server table

Q: Why users are not able to see only certain printers even though they are in the Airgroup server table ?
A: In certain scenarios  we may notice  printers come up under the server /cache entries on the controller.
However when an airgroup user does search for printer, they may not see all the printers, certain printers may be not visible .
This is because the service IDs sent by the user in the MDNS query are not broadcast by these printers
In the below capture the Ipad sends query for service id "_universal_sub_ipp_tcplocal" and "_universal_sub_ipps_tcplocal" and hence the controller will
respond with the printers that broadcasts these service ids.

In order to learn other printers we may need to use specific app provided by printer vendor on the client or configure the printers to send these service IDs.

The net 451 issues made it not work after a while but it affected the entire RWW site not just remote access:
    http://blogs.technet.com/b/sbs/archive/2014/01/13/troubleshooting-an-unexpected-error-occurred-message-when-using-remote-web-access-to-connect-to-computers.aspx
Careful if you try and uninstall it, you'll need to put back net 4.0 and reconfigure some stuff.
    Did it ever work?
Make sure the users have installed the certificate they need and turn on compatibility mode in IE (also make sure IE isn't locked down and disabling activeX).:

  • Why does aol not auto enter email addresses when I compose an email?

why does aol not auto enter email addresses when I compose an email?

what a ridiculous decision to change from "starts with" to "contains".
I have a further problem - having selected the address I want from the umpteen options pulled from my address book, I then press enter to add another line for another address.....and the first address I selected changes to a completely different address!
And also addresses from the address book which previously appeared only in black now randomly appear in red.
    help please!

  • Build to .img file will not auto start

I did a built in DVDsp4 to hard drive .img file. When I expand and copy and burn to DVD it will not auto start. What Iam I doing wrong?

    Tony
I feel you are burning a data disc. In this tutorial about * Creating Disc Image in DVDSP * you'll find the right directions to burn a disc image with Disk Utility and/or Toast. If burning that way your first play doesn't work, problem is in your authoring.
    Hope that helps !

  • Backups are not being started....volumes do not exist?

I am having issues where backup jobs are not getting started/completed.
I can see in the "jobs" report that there are many attempts (sometimes 50+) to run the job, but it never completes.
I believe the OSB software is looking for a volume that does not exist in the tape library. It's possible that they may have existed at one time (though I'm not sure), but I've run inventory several times and for what ever reason it does not exist anymore. I do not see anything in the "manage->location report ->missing" reports. I've looked in obcleanup and nothing is listed there either.
Is OSB really looking for a volume that doesn't exist, or is something else going on?

"device reported incorrect serial number" is the key here.
Your device is misconfigured and the entry for its serial number doesn't match the serial number being reported by the scsi enquiry. Has a drive been replaced? If the drives have swtiched order due to a reboot then I suggest you use /dev/tape/by-id as your attach points rather than direct /dev/sg entries.

Pictures are not being delivered after saying delivered on iMessage.
Txting through iMessage works fine. Pic's won't send.

I'm on a Verizon 4S. and I'm sure Verizon has nothing to do with iMessage system, since it's on its on server.

How does a usb keyboard attached externally work?
You might try a "hard reset" where you remove battery and AC charger, hold down power button 20-30 seconds and then reassemble and turn on. Reset BIOS (F10) to default settings, too.

  • Why exceptions are not using in BAPI

    Hi,
I would like to know why exceptions are not using in STANDARD bapi.Is there any reason for this.
    Please explain me clearly
    Thanks in advance
    Thanks and Regards,
    Venkat

    Hi,
If the exception is being handled by the caller, meaning that the exception is listed in the EXCEPTIONS section of the
funciton call, then the program will handle it gracefully and continue processing,if it is not in this section of the
funciton call, and it is raised inside the funciton module,
it will issue an ABAP dump and end. This is true for
foreground processing as well as background processing.

Why Interceptors are not used in Entity beans?
Interceptors can be used in MDB, Session bean but not in Entity bean....why so?
    Thanks,
    Rahul.

    Hi,
why batch updations are not prefered in entity beansPlease refer the specification of ejb and find out what the entity bean is meant for.In short the emtity bean represents the object state which can be persisted.
Talking regarding the batch updations does not make sense , also the entity bean represents the row of the table mapped to the Object(java Object).
